To reset the restriktion code

How to reseat restriction code when I forgot the code

You have to force iPad into Recovery Mode. Data will be lost if you have no backup before code was applied.
1. Turn off iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, slide to turn off.
2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune (make sure you have the newest version of iTune)
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad

    1. Turn off iPad
    2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
    3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
    4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
    DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
    5. Release Home button.
    ON COMPUTER
    6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
    7. Select "Restore iPad"...
    Note:
    1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
    2. If you did not do step 4 properly, start all over again.

  • Unlocking/resetting the security code!

    Today I tried to insert a sim into my old Nokia phone, it is an E52. it seems that I have left a setting on which requires security code if the sim is changed, but this phone is about 3 years old and I haven't used it for a long time so I cannot remember my security code.
    The information in the phone such as SMS and phonebook is very important for me, so I don't want any solutions that resets the phone and wipes everything. the phone is not locked if I don't insert a sim, so I rather keep like this and not use it if there is no safe way to reset/change/unlock the security code. but I really need another phone right now, and I don't want to spend money if I could unlock this.
    I have googled about this but I am not sure what is the safest way to unlock the phone while keeping my data. I found this website and it claims that it could unlock the phone but it doesn't look safe to me... what should I do? please help!

  • Reset the company code before changing chart of accounts

    i have created a new chart of accounts.
    when i m trying to assign to company code i m getting this error.
    i tried with OBR1 tcode also but still getting the error.
    how to solve this issue..
    thanks in advance.

    If you are just starting the company code, you may want to delete the company code and recreate it. Then give the new COA.  This may take some time, because if when you just create company code there are numerous tables that get updated. You may also want to check the company code.

    How do I reset the passcode?

    Hello Lynncooper,
    It sounds like your passcode is not working for some reason to unlock your phone. This article should help you get back into your device:
    iOS: Forgotten passcode or device disabled after entering wrong passcode
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1212
    If you have previously synced your device with iTunes, you may be able to reset the passcode by restoring the device:
    Connect the device to the computer with which you normally sync and open iTunes.
    Note: If iTunes asks you to enter the passcode, try another computer that you have synced with. Otherwise, go to "If you have never synced your device with iTunes, or you do not have access to a computer" section below.
    If the device is still disabled, or if iTunes does not automatically sync your device, sync the device with iTunes.
    When the backup and sync is complete, restore your device.
    When iOS Setup Assistant asks to set up your device, choose "Restore from iTunes backup".
    Select your device in iTunes and choose the most recent backup of your device.
    If you have not synced to your iTunes library, follow the steps in the section labeled:
    If you have never synced your device with iTunes, or you do not have access to a computer
    Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

    Saw this solution on another post about an iPad in a school enviroment. Might work on your iPad so you won't lose everything.

    ‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
    Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
    I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
    Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
    1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
    2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
    3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
    4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
    5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
    6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
    7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
    8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
    If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Try it and good luck. You have nothing more to lose if it doesn't work for you.
     Cheers, Tom
  • Someone put a lock code on my new iPhone 4. I've made nine attempts. How do I just reset the whole phone without the code?
    How do I reset the lock code without knowing the existing code?
    Turn off phone. Plug the USB cable into the computer you first set the phone up with. Open iTunes. Plug the USB cable into the phone while holding down the home button. Choose restore as new on iTunes. All data will be cleared from the phone and it will be in the same condition as when you first bought it new. I just had the same problem and the only thing I could not retreive was the pictures that were stored on the phone. All my apps that I purchased could be restored. Email accounts will need to be set up again.
  • Is there a way to log on to an iPad without knowing the pass code? My grandson changed his and forgot it. We would like to do this without factory reset. Thanks.
    My grandson reset the pass code on his iPad and then forgot it. He is locked out. Is there something we can do short of a factory reset? Thanks for your help.
    Unfortunately, unless he can remember the passo de, you will have to restore the device using iTunes. There is no other way around it.
  • Can i reset nidaq status codes, after +10846 code?
    (sorry for my english) I use nidaq with hard real-time acquisistion in win2000, in double-buffered mode. Sometimes, my application, don't read the halfbuffer and 10846 code (is plus, is a warning) occur. After, every check of DAQ_DB_HalfReady return 10846 code, and i can't see if another failure in read occur. How can i reset the status code? Thanks, Piero.
    Search the Knowledge Base for the document titled "What Is the Difference between Data Acquisition Errors -10845 and -10846?" It will explain what the error is and how to correct it.
    The status code is updated and returned after each function call in NI-DAQ. There is no function call to go in and clear the error condition in the DAQ device (this is an eror in the software buffer anyway, not the hardware, so NI-DAQ may actually be generating it, not a status bit on the card). If subsequent functions generate an error (or message) then you can ignore it or write a wrapper for whatever error handling routines you are using to clear the value of the status variable. Error handling is something you should handle in software; but, most people use the error handler in th
  • How can I reset the has disappeared
    How can I reset the pass code in restrictions? I have an iPhone 5c - my SIRI has disappeared & can't retrieve it until I get through that. Would like to turn restrictions off...
    Well, thank you - yes, I understand the purpose of setting up a pass code - but, truth is my grandson was playing with my phone & set a pass code in the restrictions settings, not in the initial operation of my phone.  Therefore, my phone functions fine, other than my SIRI has obviously been affected & has disappeared from my phone & I can't retrieve it unless I put this pass code in.
    Then ask your grandson to tell you what he set as the restrictions passcode.  If he cannot remember, then you'll either have to use the device, as is, or restore it using the article that I linked.
  • How to cancel the lock code N73
    I Want cancel  the lock code  my phone is N73
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.
    There is no way to bypass the security code. Think about it - if there was, it would be widely published on the Internet and the whole concept of the security code would be utterly useless.
    If you've forgotten your security code then you have two options.
    1) Update the phone's firmware if at all possible. Doing this will wipe the phone clean and it should also reset the security code to its default 12345.
    or,
    2) Take the phone to your nearest Nokia Care Point with proof that you are its owner. The NCP will reset the security code to its default 12345 for you. This process might wipe the phone clean as well and there may be a charge for it.
    There is no other way.
