To save image, what tool kit do I need to buy?

Hi.
My system is consist of IMAQ PCI-1407, Pulnix camera,IMAQ 2.1, Labview 5.1 and NT as operating system. I think that I have to buy another software like a NI Vision software to capture and save any formation of video clip. Then, what tool kit(software) should I buy? I would appreciate with your prompt reply.

To save your images, you don't need IMAQ Vision. You can just convert each image to a 2D array and save it using standard file IO. The acquisition routines are part of the IMAQ drivers, which are free.
The Vision toolkit is useful for viewing images at high frame rates and for processing the images.

I have a Macbook Pro, and I'm wanting to be able to plug it into my TV to watch Netflix. What cord(s) do I need to buy??

I do this sometimes and it works well.
First of all more info is required like the macbook pro model identifier number found in 3 steps by first selecting the Apple Menu in the far top left, next select About This Mac and finally click the more info button. It should open under hardware and the second line has the number. (ex.) 2,1 or 4,1. With this info a person can look up the HD or other video out port to HDMI or SVGA monitor input.
Secondly what type of T.V monitor do you have? Is it HD or an older CRT. Does it have multiple types of inputs? Some are limited.
I dont want to start a list for every version MacBookPro but older MBP's can use an HDMI to DVI adapter.
Hope this is helpful... If not get back to me.

My hard drive has failed after 4 reliable years. What size HD do I need to buy? (2.5" or 3.5")
Any other compatibility things to consider when purchasing an internal notebook HD?

  • What account info will I need to buy the data add on for europe

Only know my mobile number will I need my EE account number when I buy the add on?

You don't need any account info to buy roaming data when you are abroad, simply turn on data roaming and start browsing the net as normal. You will automatically be directed to the EE data roaming add-on page.
EE automatically detects your mobile number and account info and charges your account accordingly.
Do be aware that if you are in pay monthly, you don't see data roaming add-on charges until your next bill is issued.

  • TA24901 what soft wear do i need to buy to update my mac?

how do i update my mac to be able to get the new itunes ect ect ? i am usin i mac os x 10.4.11 at the monent and i can get anything new on it i am also not able to update my i pad or i phone ?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
As you want to update your iPhone and iPad, you want iTunes 11.0.1, that requires Mac OS X Snow Leopard.
First, open  > About this Mac, and see "Processor". If it's an Intel processor, you can upgrade to Snow Leopard, so buy it > http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
Then, make a backup of your data, insert the Snow Leopard disc and upgrade to Snow Leopard.
The DVD contains Mac OS X 10.6.3, so open  > Software Update and install 10.6.8. Then, run Software Update again to install iTunes 11, so you will be able to sync the iPhone and iPad.
If you want, you can check if you can use OS X Mountain Lion > http://www.apple.com/osx/specs If you can use Mountain Lion, just open App Store and purchase it. Check if your applications are supported > http://www.roaringapps.com

  • After a few downloads, using "Save image as..." causes Firefox to download the image again even though its already on the screen.

You would think that having downloaded an image and displayed it on the screen, Firefox would be able to save the image to disk (using right-click, "Save image as...") without need of downloading it all over again. But that's exactly what it does after just a few image saves.
This can be both expensive and time consuming when I happen to be working via a mobile or dial-up connection, which is often.
    Any ideas?

As an addendum, the 10.6.8 OS has also been sluggish when I log in or out of my computer (my old PowerBook G4 boots faster after being off).  Otherwise, everything else seems normal.

  • I am planning a trip to Ireland soon and need to know what adapter or converter I will need to buy to use my ziPad over there.

I am going to Ireland soon and need to know what adapters or converters I need to buy to use my IPad 2 over there .

You can usually find an adapter at Radio Shack or a luggage store like Mori's.  Airport shops also sometimes carry them.  Another way is to buy  Apple World Travel Adapter Kit.  In my opinion this is a little expensive unless you travel to different countries and need the assortment.

  • What labview package do I need to develop third party labview instrument drivers?

We have been asked develop labview 6.1 drivers for a third party data acquisition card. What Labview package do we need to buy, basic, pro etc?

The only way to really program for a third party data acquisition card in LabVIEW would be through a "call library function node". You would have to call the dll that third party card developer provided. As far as I know all LabVIEW packages contain a "call library function node". I would recomend buying at least the full development environment because of some of the additional features in that package.

  • I want to correct only part of my image. What tools do I use?

CORRECTING PART OF YOUR PHOTO – USING SELECTIONS
When you want to modify or adjust a specific area of a photo or image, you need to make a selection first. Once an area is selected you can use Photoshop image adjustment tools.
This video covers  the process of selecting an area of the photo (the sky only) as well as making  that selected area darker using what's called an "Adjustment layer".
Note: If you need to know more about layers before watching this video you can check out: "What are layers, and Why do I need them?".
Selections are important in Photoshop because they allow you to isolate an area of your image not only to adjust color or tone, but also to copy, cut, scale, or mask (hide) a part of your photo. It's good to get familiar with the kinds of selection tools that exist in Photoshop and when to use them.

After creating the mask and applying adjustment, you can also adjust and change layer mask using selection tools or, the most common way, using brush tools.
To have a more accurate preview of what are you doing, Alt + click on the layer mask thumbnail to show the mask in the image area.
At this point, you will have a layer mask on your screen in large view, so it is easy to fine tune it, but you wont see how that affects your image.
To seean  instant preview how changes on layer mask affects the adjustments, use New Window for (name of your image) from Window > Arrange.

Downloading images used to go automatically to the last folder used to save images, even when reopening Firefox. In just the past few days, possibly coinciding wih the most recent updates, the folder defaults to the 'Downloads' folder. This is most annoying. What happened? Internet Explorer 8.0 did the same thing. This was one of the reasons why I started using Firefox to download all images. I went into Tools>Options and it only lets me set another folder. I dont want to set a specific folder I want it to always go to the last folder used. So what gives?
    == This happened ==
    Every time Firefox opened
== possibly when the most recent updates were installed, a few days ago

Thanks jscher 2000. I guess I didn't make it clear. "It restarts with all the addons activated, and resumes with the tabs that were open before closing it." IE, it's running fine now with all the extensions activated. Everything is OK now.
So something in the Firefox code was causing the bad behavior. It's not essential that I find out what the problem was - I'm just curious. And if anybody else has this same problem, it might be nice to have it corrected at the source.
