Toolbar "text only" option is STILL broken in 9.0.2, it seems...

Hi Guys,
This one really worries me, 'cos it's such a basic problem. And furthermore, the release notes in both 9.0.1 and 9.0.2 both state that the problem has been fixed....
Anyway, is everyone else having the issue where:
- You right-click on the toolbar (up the top of Logic)
- You choose "text only"
- You then click on some of the buttons (such as "Auto Zoom", or "Previous/Next Marker") and all the icons in the toolbar come back!
Is this just me, or have Apple managed to overlook this in both the .1 and .2 update?
Also... in Logic 8, the text for the marker buttons on the toolbar said "Previous Marker" and then a separate one "Next Marker".
In Logic 9, there is just one piece of text: "Previous/Next Marker".
This is fine as guiding text for when the buttons are visible, but when you try to use the text only option, this becomes nonsense... these are two separate functions!!
Anyway... none of this is the end of the world, but it does worry me a little bit that both the updates have mentioned this as something they have fixed up, yet it's still a problem.
Hopefully in Logic 9.0.3....

Thanks for the feedback. I do use plenty of key commands, and they are quicker for sure!
It was more just an observation that on the occasion when I click on something in the toolbar like "COLOUR", it would be nice if the icons didn't re-appear every time!
Hopefully Apple will get it sorted soon!

i had many problems setting this printer (Canon MX7520) with my Mac so i don't want to reset the settings since I got most of them to work now. ok...I'm only talking about printing from an iOs device. The first time I set up the printer, all the documents printed to regular paper (tray #2) and photos would print to the 4 x 6 tray (tray #1.) However, there were other problems with the printer so I reset everything. Now when I 'AirPrint', it prints all documents to the 4 x 6 tray (tray #1). Something has been changed, but I'm not sure how nor how to fix it.

Text-only - Turn off flash

I'd like to know how to turn off flash on my site when i turn
off page styles in my browser? In text-only flash will still
render, but at a smaller size.

I don't see how you would stop that since the browser is
controlling what it displays and you are not controlling what the
browser is outputting.
For example using CSS to not show the Div contents would be
easy by using a trigger. But when using the browser as the trigger
won't give you the option to target a Div.
maybe someone else can shed light.

How can I display my bookmarks toolbar with text only, but still have the rest of my toolbars (search, navigation, tabs, etc) display icons?

I have a bunch of bookmarks in my bookmarks toolbar. How can I make my bookmarks toolbar display only text but have my other toolbars (navigation, etc.) display only icons? It seems like I have to choose between icon, icon and text, or text for all of the toolbars. I want it to look like it did with my old version of Firefox. All my bookmarks in the toolbar fit, but now they dont because I cant get rid of the icons.

View Options Still Broken

View options was broken in Lion (some carried over, others became a white background with greyed out options). I was hoping against hope that this would get fixed in mountain Lion, but my User folder's View Options, for example, is still broken. What will it take to fix this? Can anyone help?

Ok, I think I might have figured out what you are describing.
Sorry to inform you, but you can't set any backgrounds if you have an arrangement set. Arrangement must be set to None in order to set a background color or picture. And, it can only be done in Icon view.
There is nothing "broken." Just too difficult to implement, I imagine.

I like the navigation toolbar to have icons and the bookmarks toolbar to be text only; like Safari. Can I do this in Firefox?

In Safari the Back, Forward, Home buttons etc are Icons only and the bookmarks are text only. Is there a way of doing this in Firefox?
In View/Toolbars/Customize I do not see this option so I have it set as text only. I don't like the icons in the bookmarks toolbar because they take up more space, limiting the number of visible bookmarks

Online banking site now shows login page as text-only; on different computer it still shows page with images and clickables -- is there a fix?

Previously when I logged in to my INGdirect online bank account, the login window came up showing images and clickable hotspots. Recently, the login window changed to a text-only version. On two different computers running Firefox, the login comes up in the previous version, with images and clickable hotspots. I'm unaware of having done anything to change my settings either in Firefox or on the banking website. Because it seems to be localized on this computer, I've tried downloading latest version of Firefox, but got no change, login still comes up in text-only format.

Try clearing your browser cache.
Tools > Clear Recent History... - hit Details and make sure only Cache is selected, then select Everything and hit the Clear Now button.

Welcome to the Apple Community Willy.
Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
Restart your mobile device.

I don't believe there's much you can do about it...have a look at the "More Like This" pane on the right side of this page.
One way though to eliminate the issue (although not a very good way) is to restore the phone as new.

Is it possible to have icons for the main forward/back toolbar line and text only for the bookmark line in the toolbars?

In the customizing toolbars section it looks like you can either have icons and text, icons only or text only.
I'd like to have the toolbar with the back/forward buttons, home button, etc. be icon only and the toolbar below, which is the bookmark bar to be text only. I don't see how to do this.

After buying subscription still shows upgrade as only option

After purchasing 1 year subscription for conversions. Went through the confirmation emails. etc.
When I log on to exportpdf the the only option available is to upgrade and 0 conversions available.
After a week I still cannot convert a pdf on-line..

I'm sorry for the issues you're having. The problem you're describing most often occurs when you log into ExportPDF with an Adobe ID email address different than the one you used to purchase your ExportPDF subscription. I looked up the Adobe ID which you used to post to this forum, and I see that there is an ExportPDF subscription associated with that Adobe ID. If you log into ExportPDF with the same Adobe ID that you used to post to this forum <<[email protected]>>, you should have unlimited conversions in ExportPDF.
Please let us know if this isn't working, and we can diagnosis further.

Text Wrap Options have Disappeared ID CS4

All the icons in my Text Wrap window have disappeared. The tab/pallet is still there, but empty. The pop out still lists “Show Options” and “Apply to Master Page Only” are still there, but grayed out. Thanks in advance for any help!!

I have spent the last two or three days trying to do what you suggested. I uninstalled Adobe 6 from Windows. Some files that CS6 placed on my system during installation remained, including fonts and .dll files.
I had to abandon the Cleaner Tool you suggested because in one screen it allowed me to specify removing CS6 only, but on the following screen it only gave on option to remove ALL Adobe programs. I could not do that because I didn't have the serial number handy for CS3 in case I want to reinstall it at some point.
I tried to get technical help with the Cleaner Tool problem but no definitive help was available, so I reinstalled CS6 again without having the benefit of the Cleaner Tool. I tried to get the serial number for CS3 so I could use the Cleaner Tool but spent 2 wasted hours in chat. Even though I had a customer number, order number, order date, place of purchase, the email address used AND 16 digits of the serial number, in two hours the agent couldn't give me the serial number. After two hours I had nothing but instructions to wait another 20 minutes for a case number.
Illustrator CS6 is still trying to open some backups as Text and otherNone of the problems have been fixed. I have tried to open/use the .ai files in CS6 installed on another system and am getting the same result, so I don't think the software was damaged by the cleaner. The hard drive cleaner is well-known and I've run it many times without any problem to previous versions of Illustrator or any other programs.
When I ordered, the sale rep promised good technical support and gave me an 800 number, but after I paid the $2000, I learned that the 800 number she gave me doesn't support CS6 and hangs up on me. Adobe doesn't call it a current product even though they just sold it to me about 3 weeks ago.
Would appreciate any help you experts can offer. If I can't solve this, the last backup I can use was from June and I will have lost HUNDREDS of hours of work and assets that I cannot replace.
Exhausted and still desperately in need of help...
