Tooltips not appearing in HTML5 panel

Hi,
When I open the extension I working on in Chrome, tooltips appear when I move the curser around. When the extension is loaded in Photoshop / InDesign they do not appear. I'm setting the information as the "title" of an element. Is this not supported or am I doing something wrong ?

    Any ideas whats going on?

Put a border around #footerPanvalid to make sure that you can
    see it in
    Design view.

  • Presenter 9 installation failed - can't uninstall v.8, does not appear in control panel

I am trying to install Presenter 9, but I am getting an error that says "A conflicting or prerelease version of Adobe Presenter 9.0 exists on this computer.  The conflicting version must be removed before installing from the current media.".  From what I have read on the forums, I am interpreting this to mean I should uninstall Presenter 8 first.  According to the instructions, I should be able to remove it using the Programs and Features control panel, but Presenter does not appear there (if I open PPT it is still there, so I know v.8 is still installed).  I have tried using the AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool but Presenter does not appear as an option for removal.  Can you please tell me how I can uninstall Presenter 8 so I can install Presenter 9? I am using PPT 2010 32 bit and trying to install Presenter 9 32 bit.  Thanks.

Yes, I Presenter 7 was installed before Presenter 8.  I have Windows 7.
I found my old thread here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5080369
I followed that.  Here is what I have done:
I ran the reg file from http://blogs.adobe.com/captivate/2012/08/resolution-adobe-presenter-8-installer-issue.html
I deleted all the folders and files related to Presenter 7 or 8 in
    C Drive> Users > Your User Name>App Data > Local > Adobe >
and App Data > Roaming > Adobe >
    I reinstalled everything.
    So far so good.

  • Installed HP Officejet 4100 All-in-one does not appear in Control Panel printer selection window.

My HP Officejet 4100 Series 'All-in One' DOES NOT APPEAR in the Control Panel window even after several re-installs. The diagnostics indicate that the 4100 is not connected and dos NOT point to any path for a solution.
Attempts to download a current Driver, ( or re-load the 4100 "software" ), WILL NOT work because the 'help' page states the driver already comes with the 4100 software and therefore does not provide for any download update, (driver or software) for the 4100 printer.
I have reinstalled from the original Disk for the 4100 and also attemped install with Windows Update requested driver. Nothing works.

    Hi there @Past77
    Welcome to the forums
I read your message about your Officejet 4100 not showing that it's connected, and that you have attempted to run the Windows Update to see if that would help get the printer working again. You are correct that this model does not have a downloadable driver for Windows Vista, so your best bet would be to try running the Print and Scan Doctor tool, to see if it can kick the printer into gear and have it functioning again.
If the tool does not work, I would then recommend looking in to a printer upgrade. Consider giving us a call to see what your options are with HP.

  • [Solved] nm-applet not appearing in gnome panel

    Hi all.
I recently replaced my wired network card with a wireless one.
I then followed the instructions at the following pages to get the correct software installed:
    https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wi … orkManager
    https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NetworkManager
My only problem now is that nm-applet does not appear in the gnome panel.
Both nm-applet and networkmanager are running though, but the network is not up.
If I then kill nm-applet and run it from the command line, it the creates the icon in gnome-panel and automatically connects to my wireless network.
I've looked through all the related posts but I can't find anything that helps.
I've tried to make my DAEMONS section of rc.conf as simple as possible:
DAEMONS=(syslog-ng netfs crond dbus networkmanager alsa)
    but that didn't help either.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
As a side note I have a another machine with exactly the same wireless card with a fresh install and it works perfectly with regards to nm-applet.
Perhaps it's a config setting that is causing the problem?

  • Yahoo is in menupage after update, cannot remove from firefox, is not appearing in control panel so cannot remove there, worried may be malicious

When trying to look at temp file on usb, downloaded file viewer, yahoo was installed as homepage and is now appearing in toolbar and menu bar. Can remove it from toolbar but will not go from menubar. It is not appearing in the control panel. Uninstalled all programmes that were downloaded today to see if did anything but has not had effect. Worried that this is affecting laptop.

You don't want to update to 3.6.4, trust me. Stay with 3.6.3. If you need to download it again you can find it here:

  • Tooltips Not Appearing in Firefox

I searched for answer to this problem, which I thought must be common, but didn't find anything.
I added a tooltip using Dreamweaver CS4 insert Spry tooltip option.  The tooltip appears with Internet Explorer 8, but not Firefox 3.5.7.  The tooltip isn't blank, there's no sign of it. I tried it on two different systems running Windows 7.  I have another web page with Spry tabs that works just fine.
    Thanks for any help,
    Curt Rowe
    P.S. Here's the code
    <head>
    <script src="../SpryAssets/SpryTooltip.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

I tried adding the title and it works fine. It's also a lot less overhead on page loads. It even looks better than the default tooltip.  Does the title appear if the image display is turned off? If so I wouldn't need it and the alt description.
I'd still like to solve the problem in case I need to use it again. I moved the image up and it works.  Totally strange.  I tried movng the image down a few lines at a time.  The tooltip appears to stay in the same place on the page.  When the image is at it's original location, I think the tooltip is displaying so far up the page that it's not visible. I tried adding a vertical off set to bring it down, but it has no effect.
I also noticed that the tooltip works in Dreamweaver Live View without moving it.
I am not sure about the title appears if the image is turned off; but for XHTML compliancy the alt attribute is required.
If you want to know more on the title attribute have a look here and you will notice that this attribute is a very much overlooked one. This attribute because it can be used on most (X)HTML tags, makes the normal use of Spry tooltips redundant.
As far as finding a solution for the FF/Spry Tooltip problem, I think the style rules need to be tweeked. At the moment they are geared towards IE, leaving the likes of FF in the lurch.
Whatever, I do not need Spry tooltips.

  • Custom menu item not appearing in HTML5 Output

I'm trying to add a custom menu item to the top right of a project, it shows up fine in the flash output of a published SCORM file, but it's non-existent in the HTML5 output.
Has anyone experienced this issue, or have any suggestions for a solution?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

I did it through the Skin Editor in Captivate, it is not an external flash menu...I wouldn't expect it to convert flash to html5.  Through the skin editor you can add extra buttons, in the same place you can move the table of contents button, to the "top right".  The problem is, the custom menu items won't even show the text where the link should be in html5, nothing... only when published to flash.

  • Links do not appear in links panel in inDesign CS4

I don't recall when this happened but I no longer have any links in the Links Panel in inDesign CS4 in ANY of my documents old, new, it doesn't matter. If I package a file it gathers all the links if I need to update a link I have to go to the original link outside of inDesign to find it. I have found other problems like this in other forums but have not been successful with the solutions.
Can anyone please please help me with this??
    Thanks

  • Quicktime Applet does not appear in Control Panel

I installed Quicktime 7.2 on my hp laptop running Visa Ultimate. No Quicktime applet appears in my Control Panel, so can't enter key to upgrade to Quicktime Pro. What to do? I've uninstalled and reinstalled Quicktime, but still can find no place to enter Pro keys.

Found the missing applet in the vista control panel under the last icon "Additional Options" where I was given the choice of "View 32-bit control panel items." The Quicktime applet was there and allowed me to open it to enter the PRO key code.

  • How can I uninstall Firefox when it does not appear in control panel

Need to uninstall Firefox as it full of unwanted ads and crashes when using mail, online banking. Scanne d with Malaware and cleaned. Wish ten to reinstall Firefox

    Hello,
Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a ''Clean reinstall''. This means you remove Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:
'''Note:''' You might want to print these steps or view them in another browser.
#Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and save the setup file to your computer.
#After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (click Exit from the Firefox or File menu).
#Delete the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
    #*'''Windows:'''
    #**C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
    #**C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
#*'''Mac:''' Delete Firefox from the Applications folder.
#*'''Linux:''' If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it - see [[Installing Firefox on Linux]]. If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the [http://www.mozilla.org/firefox#desktop Firefox download page], simply remove the folder ''firefox'' in your home directory.
#Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
##Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
##Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.
More information about reinstalling Firefox can be found [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems?esab=a&s=troubleshooting&r=3&as=s#w_5-reinstall-firefox here].
<b>WARNING:</b> Do not run Firefox's uninstaller or use a third party remover as part of this process, because that could permanently delete your Firefox data, including but not limited to, extensions, cache, cookies, bookmarks, personal settings and saved passwords. <u>These cannot be recovered unless they have been backed up to an external device!</u>
Please report back to see if this helped you!
    Thank you.
