Toshiba lightweigh​t laptop with good key-travel keyboard?

Question

Hello. I'm thinking of buying a new laptop. I'got now a ThinkPad. Reliable and soft, long-key-travel keyboard to write on it for hours and hours, and I never end feeling my  fingers crushed, as in other laptops (Macs included).
Previously I used two Toshiba laptops of the wonderfull series Portégé R. I would really like to go back to Toshiba, but the Portégé models I see now (the R as well as the Z subseries) seem all to share exactly the same short-travel keyboard.
Can you confirm that there is no travel-key difference between the Z and R keyboards? 
Could you tell me which one of your lightweight models (less than 3 lbs if possible) has the softest keyboard, the longest key travel?

Try Resetting the PRAM
If that link is down due to maintenance, here's how to Reset the PRAM
To reset your computer’s PRAM:
Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Immediately press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Continue holding the keys down until the computer restarts, and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
