Toshiba TV model 32AV502RZ

Hello. I just purchased 2nd-hand a marvelous Toshiba TV model 32AV502RZ. It is in great condition and the picture image is excellent. From what I can tell, it appears to be running perfectly well, but I do not get a User Manual with it.     Where can I find one online?  I would also like to know whether there have been firmware upgrades which may not have been applied, but I am not sure of that. My primary purpose for it is for use as a secondary monitor on my PC. Thanks.

The first time it wend down it wouldn't boot up, and both video card replace.  the second time was it was the both video cards, mother board and the screen,  The third time they replace the mother board and both video cards.  and now it looks like is both video card. one USB port quit working. and the computer wont boot-up and give you the three bips of death.  They toll me I may get that maybe by May 24th they will get the video card,  The only thing I want from toshiba is to give me back the days that the laptop stay their waiting for repair, on my waranty. Or replace the bloody thing. They told me they can't do anything becouse I send it to a authorice repair depot and not to their repair depot. They know that the laptop has gone to a representative repair depot, since the gave auto repair number.

  • Compaq Laptop Model: CQ56-115DX versus Toshiba Netbook Model: NB505-N500BL

I'm looking to see which one of these is best on performance only since I know the laptop is bigger then the netbook. Both are the same price. It seems like the Compaq would be a no brainer until you read the reviews on each. Toshiba has better reviews by far even though the Compaq looks more powerful from the specs. This would mainly be used for web browsing and facebook gaming. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Hello,
Best Buy has brought your posting to my attention as you would like to purchase from Best Buy the HP CQ56-115DX versus a Toshiba netbook.   I am pleased to know that you are interested in purchasing an HP notebook.  HP is very proud of its line of products which its reps are encouraged to promote without criticizing its competitors.   The two products are different.  Do want a notebook or a netbook?  Redwyv provides a valuable posting of the pros and cons in:
    http://www.forums.bestbuy.com/t5/Computers-Home-Networking/Help-What-laptop-is-right-for-me/m-p/2815...
You will see in the above link, the similarly priced HP Mini Netbook, Model 210.
And as Redwyv has stated in this posting, you do have 14 days to return the product to Best Buy.
Based on your posting, I probably shouldn't distract you from your two choices as it appears you have already done your own research and have narrowed down your choice based primarily on price.  I am sure you have noticed the significant difference in screen size and memory.  You mentioned doing some Facebook gaming.  The fact that you specified "Facebook gaming" indicates you are aware of the requirements for more "intensive" (for lack of a better word) gaming.
You do comment that the HP laptop is certainly more powerful, but you have read negative reviews.  There are also some very strong reviews for the CQ56-115DX.  You can find a summary of reviews at:
    http://www.zdnet.com/reviews/product/laptops/compaq-presario-cq56-115dx-v-series-v140-23-ghz-156-tft...
Let me know if you need additional information.

  • Toshiba Satellite Model number M115-S1061

My other sons same make and model Toshiba laptop won't even start. You push the on button and nothing happens. The plug in lights work and the battery light but no power up. Any tricks?

Unplug the AC adapter, remove the battery, then press and hold the power button down for a minimum of 30 seconds.  Now replace the battery and see if it powers up.  If not repeat the process but this time leave the battery out and only plug in the AC.  If it still doesn't power on repeat the process again and this time replace the battery and plug the AC back in.  If it still doesn't power up it's time to start checking the hardware.  Remove the ram and try it with only one stick.  You might need to try each one individually to see if either works.  If that doesn't help remove the hard drive and see if it will post to the Toshiba screen.  If that doesn't help you'll probably need to take it to a service center.
If you don't post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please try to post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.

  • Toshiba L200 model

    Hi there,
last time I used my laptop (last week), Microsoft insalled updates in my laptop and now its giving me the black screen. I have to unplug and take the battery off as it doesnt shut down properly.
Scenario: after booting laptop, it gives me error message "Windows Error Recovery"
Windows did not shut down successfully. If this was due to the system not responding, or if the system was shut down to protect data, you  might be able to recover by choosing one fo the safe mode configurations from the menu below
    Safe mode
    Safe mode with networking
    Safe mode with command prompt
    Start windows normally
(Safe Mode) description: Start windows with only the core drivers and services
When I choose to start windows normally it goes to a blank screen with writing on top and bottom part of the screen
"Safe Mode"  "Microsoft (R) Windows (R) (Build 6001: Service Pack1)"  "Safe Mode"
When I choose Safe Mode, its just black screen.
    Please help me.
    thank you so much.

    Build 6001:
So you have Windows Vista. Try this.
Turn the computer on and immediately press and hold the F8 key.
On the Advanced Boot Options menu, choose Repair Your Computer.
When you reach the System Recovery Options menu, choose Startup Repair.
If that doesn't do the trick, go back to the System Recovery Options menu and do a System Restore.
If that doesn't fix things either, go back to the System Recovery Options menu, choose Command Prompt, and follow the directions here
How to use the Bootrec.exe tool in the Windows Recovery Environment to troubleshoot and repair start.....
Which L200? Please give us the complete model number and the part number. Look on the label on the bottom of the computer.

  • Toshiba TV Model 50L1350U wireless

1st let me say I have apparently mislaid the user manual since I can't find it in the rest if the paperwork. 2nd -I did search the internet version of the manual. BUT it's 120 Pgs long...
    Now... Can anyone tell me:
    1. Does this model have wireless capabilities?
    2. If it does not, will a USB wireless adapter work?
    3. Any other options?
    Thx

No, the TV doesn't have the capabiltiies. You'd need to connect a device that has Internet capabilities.

  • My TV Model 32AV502RZ will not turn on

After a power outage last night my TV wouldn't turn on no matter what I did. I unplugged it for awhile, then plugged it back in that didn't work. I left it alone for hours and nothing happened. I tried holding down the Power button for a period of time still nothing. I would like to know what I have to do to get my TV to work ether there's something I'm not doing that I should or it needs to be repaired or it completely done and I need to get a new TV.

It sounds like it definitely needs to be repaired. The price would change depending on what damage has been done, so I can't say for sure how much it would be or if it'd be worth it to you.

  • Toshiba Model 40E220U - Not HDMI friendly with my Wii U

My dad has a Toshiba HDTV (Model 40E220U) which is almost a year old from now. While it is HDMI-friendly with everything that is HDMI compatible, it is not being very friendly to my Wii U video game console, but only when it uses 1080p resolution graphics. When I play my Wii U at 1080i, it works perfectly fine.
The problem with my dad's TV is that when I use my Wii U at 1080p resolution, I sometimes get 2-second screen black outs, and some static lines that follow up with the black-out problem. I tried resetting the TV to factory settings to solve the problem, but it didn't work. I even updated the TV recently, but it still didn't make it Wii U-friendly.
To those of you who have a Wii U like me, are you facing this same problem? I also need Toshiba to know that our 40E220U TV model needs a new update to fix the problem I'm having with it. Thank you.
