Cobain.Divyanshu - sorry to ask but can you explain why i need to update r3load and r3trans to resolve this error? Just want to understand why I'm doing a correction so I can learn from the same.
Also, can you clarify the file update process:
For R3load:
a) the r3load used by the command is dated 8/16/2011 (location:C:\usr\sap\AVV\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64\...)
b) the r3load i have in my db folder is dated 10/23/2011 (location:C:\Final\Installer\BS7i2011_Installation_Master_\DATA_UNITS\BS2011_IM_WINDOWS_X86_64\ORA\UC\...)
Do i replace (a) with (b)?
For R3trans:

R3load export of table REPOSRC with lob col - error ora-1555 and ora-22924
Hello,
i have tried to export data from our production system for system copy and then upgrade test. while i export the R3load job has reported error in table REPOSRC, which has lob column DATA. i have apsted below the conversation in which i have requested SAP to help and they said it comes under consulting support. this problem is in 2 rows of the table.
but i would like to know if i delete these 2 rows and then copy from our development system to production system at oracle level, will there be any problem with upgrade or operation of these prorgams and will it have any license complications if i do it.

Dear customer,
Thank you very much for contacting us at SAP global support.
Regarding your issue would you please attach your ORACLE alert log and
trace file to this message?
Thanks and regards.
Hello,
Thanks for helping,
i attached the alert log file. i have gone through is, but i could
not find the corresponding Ora-01555 for table REPOSRC.

Dear customer,
I have found some previous issues with the similar symptom as your
system. I think this symptom is described in note 983230.
As you can see this symptom is mainly caused by ORACLE bug 5212539 and
it should be fixed at 9.2.0.8 which is just your version. But although
5212539 is implemented, only the occurrence of new corruptions will be
avoided, the already existing ones will stay in the system regardless of the patch.
The reason why metalink 452341.1 was created is bug 5212539, since this
is the most common software caused lob corruption in recent times.
Basically any system that was running without a patch for bug 5212539 at some time in the past could be potentially affected by the problem.
In order to be sure about bug 5212539 can you please verify whether the
affected lob really is a NOCACHE lob? You can do this as described in
mentioned note #983230. If yes, then there are basically only two
options left:
-> You apply a backup to the system that does not contain these
corruptions.
-> In case a good backup is not available, it would be possible to
rebuild the table including the lob segment with possible data loss . Since this is beyond the scope of support, this would have to be
done via remote consulting.
Any further question, please contact us freely.
Thanks and regards.
Hello,
Thanks for the Help and support,
i have gone through the note 983230 and metalink 452341.1.
and i have ran the script and found that there are 2 rows corrupted in
the table REPOSRC. these rows belong to Standard SAP programs
MABADRFENTRIES & SAPFGARC.
and to reconfirm i have tried to display them in our development system
and production system. the development systems shows the src code in
Se38 but in production system it goes to short dump DBIF_REPO_SQL_ERROR.
so is it possible to delete these 2 rows and update ourselves from our
development system at oracle level. will it have any impact on SAP
operation or upgrade in future.
Regards
Ramakrishna ReddyHello, we have solved the problem.
To help someone with the same error, what we have done is:
1.- wait until all the processes has finished and the export is stopped.
2.- startup SAP
3.- SE14 and look up the tables. Crete the tables in the database.
4.- stop SAP
5.- Retry the export (if you did all the steps with sapinst running but the dialogue window in the screen) or begin the sapinst again with the option: "continue with the old options".

Problems with SAPUSER Table / ORA-1403 during PI 7.1 EHP1 Installation
Hello,
as I have currently problems creating a customer message with the customer provided S-User and I need a solution after the easter weekend, I'll try my luck here...
We currently perform a SAP Netweaver PI 7.1 EHP1 installation on Windows 2008 (Enterprise)/ Oracle. The installation media were downloaded from SAPNet.
The Windows Server 2008 is completely udpated, no further patches are available.
The Windows system is patched according to note 1375494 (new SAP kernel does not work on Win2008 without).
Oracle 10.2.0.4 was installed previous to the installation.
During the installation the new independend and db-dependend kernel was provided.
First steps run smoth until Phase ABAP IMPORT. This one fails according to the logs because access to table SAPUSER is not possible:
Compiled Jan 15 2010 23:56:22
E:\usr\sap\PID\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64\R3load.exe -testconnect
DbSl Trace: ORA-1403 when accessing table SAPUSER
(DB) ERROR: db_connect rc = 256
DbSl Trace: ORA-1403 when accessing table SAPUSER
(DB) ERROR: DbSlErrorMsg rc = 99
I already checked the OPS$ mechanism. Starting SQLPlus /nolog and login with "connect /as sysdba" works as intended.
i.e. "select owner from dba_tables where table_name = 'SAPUSER';" shows:
OWNER
O$HERDER_DOMAIN\PIDADM
Which is ok, the Domainname and SID is correct.
"select * from "O$HERDER_DOMAIN\PIDADM".SAPUSER;" show:
no rows selected
Comparing this to another recently installed system there should be something like this:
USERID
PASSWD
SAPSR3-CRYPT
V01/0050ZctvSB67Wv2haiQTDrO5P5c7Ks/kyqpdQ7jDbQ==
But I'm not really sure, if this entry should be there at this installation phase.
If so, how is this entry created? Note 50088 describes how to handle this, but with other USERID and without encrypted PASSWD.
I have no idea, why this happens, I recently installed 2 ECC systems and 1 Solution Manager systems and had no problems installing them.
I already exchanged the control.xml according to note 1249469.
I cannot find any note for this situation, so please ... is there anyone out there with an idea?
Best regards
Christian ReitzHi,
thanks for the answer... as I read your answer, I had some doubt, and unfortunately I was right.
Altering the users PW does not write into the SAPUSER table... why should it? Altering an oracle user does not effekt this SAP table.
In the meantime I started from scratch. Complete new installation of Win2008, patching, etc.
... same issue.
I don't know, why this happens... I cannot find another hint what happend before, when the user should be added into the table.
Any ideas? Anyone?
Thanks for help in advance.

Hi,
I've been getting this seg fault using OCCI, my environment:
Oracle client 10.2.0.4.1 x86_64 (jul 2009) on rhel5.4
Oracle database 9.2.0.8 x86_64 on rhel4.8
I've written a g++ multi thread app that is making use of Connection Pooling, within 5 minutes of my app starting it seg faults with:

its compiled against gcc version 4.1.2 20080704 (Red Hat 4.1.2-46)
I've tried the following:
Installing the occi download from http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/oci/occi/occidownloads.html and compiling with gcc-3.4.6
I'm using the following commands to compile & link:
g++ -DMOXA_DEBUG -I/database/u00/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/rdbms/demo -I/database/u00/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/rdbms/public -I/database/u00/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/plsql/public -I/database/u00/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/network/public -O0 -g3 -Wall -c -fmessage-length=0 -fPIC -MMD -MP -MF"src/DB_Table.d" -MT"src/DB_Table.d" -o"src/DB_Table.o" "../src/DB_Table.cpp"

I've tried to do a -locci10 instead of the -locci10_343, still nothing..
Intesting to note, the older version of the application on the same environment doesn't have this problem..
I do know OCCI is a bit tempremental, especially when creating threads, as i've had to put a 100ms delay otherwise i get other errors
the back trace looks like, it allways core dumps when releasing the connection..

Any help/suggestions whould be much appreciated..
Cheers
JamesShiyer,
libmoxa.so is the library I have created which is performing the oracle queries..
The pool is created from the main thread by:
Environment _env = Environment::createEnvironment (Environment::DEFAULT);
ConnectionPool connectionpool = _env->createConnectionPool(
username, passwd, tnsname, 1, 10, 1);
And then each query is used run inside a connect initiated with:
Connection *conn = connectionpool->createConnection(_username.c_str(), passwd.cstr());
Statement *stmt = conn->createStatement("select 1 from dual;");
ResultSet *rset = stmt->executeQuery();
while( rset->next() == rset->DATA_AVAILABLE ) {
std::cout << rset->getInt(1) << std::endl;
stmt->closeResultSet (rset);
conn->terminateStatement (stmt);
and connection released with:
connectionpool->terminateConnection(conn);
Hope this helps!
cheers

ORA-604 and ORA-4031 during installation of SAP
Hi,
I tried to install Oracle 10.2.0.2 on Windows 2003 with SAP R3E 47X2.
However, during the installation on the Database Load phases it pops up a ORA-604 and ORA-4031 error log. It was unable to completed the Database Load phase showed as R3 load jobs: running 1, waiting 0.
I tried to set the share pool in init.ora as shared_pool_size = 40000000. It still show up as shared memory issue.
The log shows as,

MCOD Installation - Error ORA-1403 when accessing table SAPUSER
Hello.
We are in middle of a MCOD installation of 4.7 x 2.00 SR1 with BW 3.1 on Windows 2003/Oracle.
BW 3.1 is up and running, while 4.7 fails on R3loads.

KTHi KT,
Actually the problem is not ORA-1403, but the <i>ORA-00406: COMPATIBLE parameter needs to be 9.2.0.0.0 or greater</i>.
Please update the COMPATIBLE parameter in your init<SID>.ora file and restart the database. This should fix your problem.
Kind regards,
Alexander Webster
P.S. points are appreciated if my reply was helpfull.

I'm getting this error "duplicate keys found". I'm finished installing the central instance and during the database instance, i got this error. I'm installing BW 3.5 on x64 windows server 2003 platform. I'm using NU kernel 6.40.
Thanks for your suggestions on how to resolve this error.
Reward points guaranteed.Issue solved by deleting central and database instance and started a new build. it finished without an error.
Thank you. -

First i try to connection test via R3load -testconnect
It is ok.
This problem not correct password of SAPR3. so i modify table SAPUSER OF OPS$ schema. I refer to Note 400241 - Problems with ops$ or sapr3 connect to Oracle
Second.
I retry SAPINST gui of sapinst.exe with button "retry".
but this error message the below.
I guess this IDES System is MDMP codepage.

Hi,
We are running SAP on ECC 5.0 , Oracle 10.2 and windows 2003 x-64 bit. We have tried to export the production system and getting failed several times. The log is as follows.
DbSl Trace: ORA-1652 occurred when executing SQL statement (parse error offset=754)
(EXP) ERROR: DbSlExeRead failed
rc = 99, table "COEP"
(SQL error 1652)
error message returned by DbSl:
ORA-01652: unable to extend temp segment by 128 in tablespace PSAPTEMP
(DB) INFO: disconnected from DB
We had run the DB verify and corrected the corrupted datablocks through re-org. The re-org went sucess fully. Again we had run the export and got failed at the same place. This happend several times. We have turned the auto extend on for the tablespace 'PSAPTEMP'. Still no use. Appreciate your help on this.
Thanks,
Krishna.Hi Krishna,
ORA-01652: unable to extend temp segment by 128 in tablespace PSAPTEMP
We have turned the auto extend on for the tablespace 'PSAPTEMP'. Still no use.
Even if you put the auto extend ON, it has a max size value.. the export still requires more PSAPTEMP, if you've more space at OS level, you should increase the max size of PSAPTEMP so that it can grow more.

Debasis. -

followed the approach of Combined upgrade and unicode conversion.
We have completed the upgrade and now proceeeding with unicode
conversion. We are done with the export and now we are import the data
into target system. During the import many of our packages are getting
into some ora errors.

Now I am no expert on the combined upgrade/unicode conversion always done them separate.
But, the
ORA-00904: "RECORDMODE": invalid identifier
I think means it is trying to insert data into column RECORDMODE where the data is not alphanumeric.....Fror example a date.....
It defo looks like a BI table so it could be possibe...
