Transaction errors: The lock operation ended unsuccessfully because of deadlock.

Hi,
One of our process is getting "Transaction errors: The lock operation ended unsuccessfully because of deadlock." error while processing Partitions in AS 2005.
We have a process that processes dimensions and partitions based on a SQL table. Sometimes when the it is processing two partitions at the same time (multi-threaded) for same measure group, server throws deadlock error. This does not happen all the time.
Both partitions are bound to different tables in relational database and I also traced the SQL Server and did not get any deadlock error.
I searched for this error on Google and did not find anything.
Anyone have any idea about this error?

your error seems to indicate that your embeddedLdap isnt in sync with the Database ? Did you either delete files from your file systems or cleanup the portal db or finally used a copy of some existing database for your domain?

I have a function that retrieves some values for all the cutomers
with all different types,and then concatenates all those values
(format in XML ) and return the concatenated value as clob.
vClob1 & vAllClob is Clob type.
My function:

Did you try the create index from sqlplus?

While running eBusiness HRMS Terminated Reconciliation, OIM picks the Users End Date and if that End Date is passed, the user is Disabled. I think the connector should behave this way. Pls correct me if I am wrong.
But, what's happening is, when I run the eBusiness HRMS Terminated Reconciliation, I am getting the below error and in the recon manager I can see the End Date as earlier date but the user is still Active. It is not changing to Disabled.

I am getting the same error. Any idea which field OIM considers as signal of disabling the user? Status or Termination date?

Cause: Error within the lock operation ( Local Table Overflow)

W observed, Incidentally when user tries to peform some business transaction, suddently the Lock table get fills up with and all other users get "System Lock error"
either we log off user and after some time when user tried to perform same transaction.
the system and as well lock entries of that user is normal.
Why incidentally incidentally it is happening. We checked with user and they confirms they were doing normally nothing really change compare to their day to day activities.

Check Enqueue Statistics from sm12 is there are any Enqueue errors in your system. It will also show you the current status of the table. Since how long you getting this problem .. if its recent i suggest see if there is any big activity going on your system which is temperary ... if yes then see if this problem disappers after activity ..
You can do a dignosis check in sm12 too .. se if this contains any error.
Or if you want to have a permenant solution then enque/table_size increase this parameter from rz10 and restart your system.

Hello,
I'm working a developing an OA page that will displays the contents of an Oracle table and allows the user to update records in a table as needed.
When I hit submit button to save the changes in the update page, the control goes back to main page (where all the table records are displayed). It displays the updated record with the new information.However when I hit "Go" button on the mainPG, I get the error "The search cannot be executed because the table has pending changes that would be lost. and the changes are not committed.
ANy suggestions on where I should look will be greatly appreciated.

Under normal circumstances, an uninstall/reinstall doesn't touch your content. (That being said, it's still always a good idea to maintain a current backup at all times in case of disasters of any sort.)
First try updating to iTunes 11.1.5.5, using an installer downloaded from the Apple website:

I am not able to open the forms giving the error as "Fiscal Days Input - is invalid". Interestingly one form was opening, when the Page selection is changed it also started giving error as like "Fisacal Days Input(form name) - is invalid check log for details". If a form is invalid it generally means that one of the dimension references is missing. Can you get in to edit the form? If you can, see if you can preview it. I suspect you will not be able to. If not, check all dimension boxes have at least one member against them. If you have multiple rows and/or columns check all of them too. I've had a couple of forms in dev "drop" a dimension reference but only once or twice so not enough to reproduce or find out what is causing it. Each time I got the "form invalid" error message and managed to fix it. Hope this helps.

I am trying to install SQL Developer on my Windows-64 laptop. I downloaded the Windows-64 version of SQL Developer from oracle.com, which only comes WITHOUT an included JDK. I installed a JDK separately, but now when I try to launch SQL Developer, I get an error:

I went to the Microsoft web site, and a forum indicated I needed to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) to get the dll. I did this, but I still get the same error.

Are you using Java 7? SQL Developer 3.x support only goes through Java 6 (jdk1.6.0_27 is the latest to date). When playing with SQL Developer / Java 7 on WinXP, I noticed that I had to copy MSVCR100.dll from jdk.1.7.0 to the same directory as the sqldeveloper.conf file. Here is the link discussing this:

Try completely removing and reinstalling iTunes and all related components; you may need to do this multiple times. It won't normally affect the iTunes library, but that should be backed up anyway.

I have been using Windows server 2012 at my company and generally take a remote access to this server. However, since last few days, I have been receiving the Error "The remote connection was disconnected because there are no Remote Desktop License
Servers available to provide a license. Please contact the server administrator".
My entire work has come to a halt because of this error as all my applications are running this server and their remote access is needed for my regular requirements.
I had tried one of the solutions proposed at one of these forums especially using gpedit.msc but to no avail.

Agree with the words of armin, please verify that you have properly installed correctly. Verify RDS Licensing service running on License Server. Verify that the client, the RDS server, and the license server can communicate by ensuring that Domain Name System
(DNS) is configured correctly on each computer. You can run the ping command from each computer to each computer using the IP address, FQDN, and the NetBIOS name. If any of the ping commands fail, verify the DNS configuration on the network.
In addition, you can also try “GracePeriod” registry setting on this path (HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\RCM) from
