Transactional iView - Pop Up Problem

Hi Experts,
I am facing a problem in one of the transactional iView in Portal. The iView runs a workflow. When i click on one of the line items (from the list of lineitems), and execute the workflow, it shows me the details of that line item and a new window pops up which contains a pdf.
The problem is when i close the workflow or go back to the list of line items, this popup window should get closed automatically, which is not happening.
If i execute this from R/3, it works fine.
Any ideas, what can be a solution to this..

mind you that although ITS might show you any SAP transaction - it is not 100% guaranteed that it will show you the exact same features you have on the SAP Logon.
Is this a standard SAP transaction or a Custom one ?
What transaction (if standard) are you referring to ?

Dynamic parameter tranfer from webdynpro to transaction iView

Hello,
i would like to transfer some parameters from my webdynrpo to a transaction iview. The problem is, that its working for one transaction but not for another. I tested SE11 and SE38. Here is the code for both (first SE38 second SE11)

Does anybody know why (background is that i have a custom transaction which is also not working and im curious why its not working for a standard transaction either.

SSO for transactional iview

hi all
I have created a Transactional iview and my problem is that the iview is opening up in a seperate window and not in the the same page that we login. Also, I am having to sign on 2 times while connecting to r3 using transactional iview. Please let me know the process to enable SSO.

A more secure way of achieving SSO is with the
SAP Log on Tickets.

Transaction iView - SAP GUI for HTML - Problem while hiding menu bar

Hello all,
I am trying to hide the OKcode field and the Menu button in a Transaction iView of type SAP GUI for HTML. I am following the SAP note 1010519. However, nothing seems to change, even after adding the parameter ~webgui_simple_toolbar = 0 or any other value.
I added the parameter to the service: default_host ->sap -> bc -> gui ->sap -> its -><b>webgui</b>
After going through few posts relating to this issue, I figured out that passing application parameters would not work. Also, using IAC is not an option for me.
Can someone help? How can I hide the OKCode field and Menu bar?

Maintaining the parameter
~WEBTRANSACTIONTYPE EWT
will solve your problem. You can also create an IAC iview. Here is a document for the same.

Problem creating transactional iview for BW system

Hi gurus
We are facing one problem creating a transactional iview for a BW 3.5 system . We wanto to call transaction SU01 in our BW system using an iview. When we use SAP for html, we have all the menu on the iview , I mean the same result as if we use smen, not SU01.
And if we use SAP GUI , we are always having the same GUI Error

Thanks Bala for your quick reply. I´ve tried with function module RSBB_URL_PREFIX_GET and all the settings were OK. Still the same result.
Adding more information. We have another WAS 6.40 server with different Module(we have RM and XRPM , not BW) and we are having the same problems. I am wondering if its related with some special config or activation
Maybe I´ve forgot some service activation in SICF? I´m able to reach the SMEN, but not the SU01
or I´m missing some config elsewhere?

But my problem is that, there may be no of users will be accessing this report. user will not be having SAP GUI installed in his machine. He will be accessing Transaction IView after login in EP (from any where may be from cyber cafe) and He would like to take printout using any button on the screen.
So suppose any end user having only Internet Explorer installed in his machine, will he be able to take the print out. I think its very genuine requirement.
OR user can not take print out untill SAP GUI is installed in his machine???

Problem with accessing Transaction iViews through ITS

Hi,
I am trying to access Transaction iViews through ITS, we are getting sap easy access menu instead of transaction which we had given during the configuration. Recently we have upgraded ITS 6.20 to Patch level 19. Before applying patch everything was working fine.
Anyone please help me in solving this problem as it is very urgent.

Problem with Transaction iView when calling R/3(Personalization)

Hi
I have created several Transaction iViews , where I am calling different Backend Systems like R/3 , BW, etc.
My problem is , when I launch the iView, I can able to see the SAP Easy Access for R/3 , BW etc. But the language that user have in the backend is over writed by English.
In the iView properties, I have not selected any language.
In the Portal Personalization /UME also I have not selected any language.
But in R/3 I have selected "de" as my language but the R/3 SAP Easy Access showing only English.
Any advice please? should we have any settings in the portal without touching iview properties or portal personalization to view the backend GUI in the same language that is set in the backend profile?

Go to Internet web browser, select Tools in the menu, then select Internet options --> General Tab --> Languages --> Add --> German(de) . finally move up the German(de)

Problem in Transactional iView with SAP GUI Type

Hi,
I've one Transactional iView in which I'm opening one SAP report. This report can be downloaded using option Local File. Once I click on this option, one popup appear where format can be selected and afterward file can be downloaded.
Problem: Once I choose SAP GUI Type in Transactional iView is SAP GUI for HTML then it wouldn't allow me to download file and just hanged, once I click on popup download.
But same is working once I choose SAP GUI Type = SAP GUI for Windows.
Can someone suggest me, what is the problem exactly?

Yeah Michael, you are absolutely right, it seems same problem, I'm getting some applet loading exception.
But, I already have JVM installed version j2se1.6, same as colleague have.
I couldn't understand solution properly suggested in Note, can you brief me, would be really great.

ABAP Transaction iview Problems.

Dear experts.
I have created a Abap transaction iview in portal which navigates to one ABAP transaction after opening. But my requirement is not to show the command box after going to that transaction, because by using that they can enter the other transaction code in that command box and go to other transactions.
So I want to hide that command box. Is there any way to hide that?

Check the SAP Note 1010519 for the solution.
Also try to set the ~webgui_simple_toolbar=1 parameter under transaction sicf.

Transactional Iview + Excel problems

Hi, i have a problem that i can't find the solution.
I have a Z program in R3 where you can select an Excel file from your pc, then when you execute it, there's a batch input and read the excel. It's works fine, but the problem is that i have a transactional iview of this program and when i try to execute it always displays an error. The problem is because some internal tables are empty.
I do not know where is the problem, please i need your help.

Hi, i was reading the notes, and i think that the SAP GUI for HTML is not the best solution, for this.
Now i created an Iview for SAP GUI for Windows, but it generate this error
"connection to partner srvsapdes.des.net:3610 broken"
I configured everything (i think): The hosts file, the services file, i tested it with a telnet, and it works fine.... i do not know where is the problem of this connection...
Any suggestion?

Problem in transaction iView

We have a transaction iView (SAP GUI For HTML) .When we click on the relevant link in the portal that transaction iView is displayed. For a particular field in that transaction if we click on the folder tab besides the field then a pop up window is appearing from where we have to select some values but in the portal we find some extra u201C0u201D padding before that values.But if we check that particular transaction in the GUI then values are displayed correctly(without u201C0u201D padding before the values).
We have used ITS(Internet Transaction Server) which communicates between SAP GUI and Portal.
Please give your suggestion how do I check the application which is displayed in the Portal. Displayed application sceen is different than the SAP GUI transaction screen. I think the displayed screen is BSP application.
Any suggestion?

BSP application contain html code and the extra '0' could be a typo in the code.

Problem with SAP Transaction iView after Patch 34 install

We're running EP6SP2 on AIX/Oracle and have currently upgraded from PL5 to PL34.
The problem we are now having is as follows:
We have an SAP Transaction iView that is using the 'Auto' method for the 'Technique to start SAPGUI for Windows' and the 'WinGui' as the 'SAP GUI Type'.
Now when we click on the iView we are getting the IE popup that asks us if we want to Save, Open, or Cancel the file open for tx.ssd
Prior to the patch upgrade we did not have this issue.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the quick response.
I have seen those notes already and unfortunately they don't solve this specific problem. These will solve the problem for the SSD method (.sap file) of starting the SAPGUI for Windows but not for the SSF method (.ssf file).
The main issue is that before the install of the Patch we did not get the popup, everything worked fine. It doesn't make sense why we would have to change our IE settings now to get it to work properly. It should work the same as before the patch.
Plus, I don't want to have to do an SMS push to all the PC's here to fix a problem with a Patch upgrade.
I have tried to add the .ssd and .sap types to the Mime section for the http service in the Admin tool but this hasn't fixed the problem either.
Also, I found that in Patch 31 SAP has made a change to the way the SAP GUI for windows starts. After some searching I found that in the file WinGuiRenderLayer.properties under
the 'com.sap.appintegrator.sap/property/Transaction/' folder I see that it has some entries in it that look like they relate to the above mentioned fix for Patch 31. The lines in particular are:
- # postfix for roundtrip URL - should help IE to detect the mime-type
- SSF_URL_Postfix = /tx.sap
- SSD_URL_Postfix = /tx.ssd
These lines were not in this file prior to implementing the patch and I believe that this may be causing the problem.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Problem in the EP Transactional Iview

Hi All,
I have created one transactional Iview in my EP and i have provide one T-code of R/3 report. Now when i run that Iview ,first time it will redirect me to the login screen of the R/3 .Then i have to login and then i can use the T-code.
I think when i run my Iview it should redirect to that perticulat T-code screen.
So ,please tell me which setting i have to do so that when i run my IView ,the next output screen will be the T-code screen.

To do so, you need enable single sign on between portal and your R3 system or user mapping in portal then you will be able to tun transaction as you want through portal.Please check the links below.Also take a look enterprise portal forums.
