Transfer pictures from macbook pro to iPad mini
How can I transfer pictures from Macbook Pro to Ipad mini
You would need to have your photos in iPhoto. Then in iTunes select your iPad, and under the Photos tab select which photos that you want to send to the iPad.

How to transfer movie from MacBook Pro to iPad ?
For transferring videos you could use 'Video Transfer App'. I'm the developer of this universal application (iPhone/iPad) that let's you transfer videos from your iPad or computer directly to another iPhone or iPad.
The app is currently in the Top 25 iPad apps in the photography category.
Here are couple of videos that show how the app works:

Syncing pictures from MacBook pro to iPad
None of my pictures on my MacBook pro have synced to my iPad.........but most of my pictures on my iPad have synced to my MacBook pro. I thought once you were hooked up to iCloud all the syncing was automatic and it synced to each device. HELP!
From what I have noticed, in iPhoto, on the Mac, you have to manually add the picture on the Photostream.

How do I move photos from iPhoto on my MasBook Pro to my iPad Mini?

Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

How do I move contacts from macbook pro to iPad mini
How do I move my "contacts" from my MacBook Pro, to my iPad mini
Not sure exactly what you mean by "move" (or what the circumstances are), but the easiest way to get those on the iPad would be to sync them via iCloud (turn on contacts in iCloud on both devices).

How to transfer pictures from Macbook Pro to Icloud?
I am confused as in how I can transfer pics from my Macbook Pro to ICloud. Can someone help me with this?
Also how many days will the files be saved on Icloud?
Thanks
RIf you mean add them to photostream, you can either drag them onto your photostream album or selct them and use the share option at the bottom of the iPhoto window.

Can you transfer files from Macbook Pro to iPad Air via USB ?
Hi ,
Can you use that USB adapter to transfer photos / .pdf`s / .mp3`s and so forth ?
I have a MBP-R + MM , and would like to be able to use the newer iPad Air for veiwing photos as well as .pdf`s , I got the music part , just sync with iTunes.
Many thanks !
G. iTunes, when your iPad Air is plugged in via USB to your computer and selected in iTunes, has a tab for Books which can transfer your PDFs to iBooks. It also has a tabs for Photos.
If you select the Apps tab and scroll down to the bottom of the apps list, you will see a section for Apps that can sync files between your computer and the App on your iPad Air. So if you have an app that handles a specific file format you can use iTunes to sync that file between your computer and your iPad Air.
As has been mentioned above, besides iBooks, GoodReader is another well respected app that handles PDFs and you can transfer PDF files between your computer and GoodReader on the iPad Air via the Apps tab. -

Hi hjmdsalleh,
You typically use iTunes to sync your content to your iPhone.

If you are having problems syncing some videos, they may not be in the correct format.
iTunes: Videos may be unable to sync to iPhone, iPad, or iPod

What is the best way to transfer iPhoto from MacBook Pro to iMac?
What is the best way to transfer iPhoto from MacBook Pro to iMac?
the only way is Connect the two Macs together (network, firewire target mode, etc) and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity from the old Mac to the pictures folder of the new Mac - launch iPhoto on the new mac and it will open the library and convert it as needed and you will be ready move forward.
