Transfer RFQ from R/3 to SRM-EBP

Hi,
We are using SRM 5.5. I want to transfer RFQ from R/3 to SRM-EBP.
Please suggest.
Note: I have some idea.
1. R/3 - I will create a Z Program
2. In this program I will get the details of RFQ in R/3.
3. I will create a RFC Function Module in SRM.
4. In my R/3 program I will call SRM RFC Function Module.
5. I will pass all the RFQ details into my SRM RFC Function Module.
6. Now I have the RFQ details in SRM-EBP in that SRM RFC Function Module.
7. In this SRM RFC Function Module I need to create a BID based on my R/3 RFQ details
8. My doubt: what coding is required to create a BID in SRM-EBP.
Because I can't use BDC to create BID in SRM-EBP.

Natchiappan.M

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. But How can I pass the guid as a input for that function module.
I tried that function module. If you have some sample code with this function module Please share with me.
Thanks and Regards,

  • Unable to transfer vendor from R/3 to SRM

I have a problem while trying to transfer a vendor from R/3 to SRM.
First of all, I found some information in a thread and it says something about the Sole Proprietor flag (which is in the Control view of the Vendor)
[Re: SRM6: BBPGETVD Does not Replicate Sole Proprietors|Re: SRM6: BBPGETVD Does not Replicate Sole Proprietors]
In the thread says that when this flag is checked then you can't transfer the vendor, because:
"The Sole Propertiers are natural vendors who are mainly used for Tax Reporting purpose in backend system . SAP does not consider replication of sole propertiers as they do not have all master data like email id and some other details. If these kind of vendors are replciated from R/3 to SRM with the missing master data it results in inconsistency in SRM system.
So these vendors are not considered for replication on purpose."
So first I tried to transfer the vendor with the Sole Proprietor flag checked and this error message appeared:
'No data records found for system <backend system>, client <client>; check entries'
Then I tried to transfer the vendor without the Sole Proprietor and this information message appeared:
'All backend descriptions are already assigned in the system'
I think this second message appear because the vendor is already in the SRM system (in development).
I checked it with txn bp to see Business Partners.
    SRM version is 6.0.
    Thanks and regards.

Yes, I just validate that the vendor is in SRM using that table BUT000.
First, I want to know if the second message ("All backend descriptions....") is because vendor is already in SRM or because of other reason that I don't know.
Also, I want to know if I apply this change of the Sole Proprietor flag in Production, I mean to uncheck the flag, it will allow me to transfer the vendor from R/3 to SRM. This is my real problem.
I hope that this message helps you to understand my issue.
Please do not hesitate to ask me for more info about this and thank you for the quick answer.

  • Transfer PO from EBP to SUS (one client)

    Hello,
We have EBP and SUS in the same client (SRM 5.00 – SRM server 5.5).
We are trying to transfer PO from EBP to SUS.
I am searching an answer to the subsequent questions:
    1. How should be started the PO transfer from EBP to SUS? We know that this transfer is made with XI and “PurchaseOrderRequest_Out” – “PurchaseOrderRequest_In” interfaces but what event should start “PurchaseOrderRequest_Out” interface? We know that “PurchaseOrderRequest_Out” interface is also started by EBP output process instead of printing, should we use this functionality to start this transfer?
    2. We have tried to set the process using the output message (instead of printing) but the “PurchaseOrderRequest_In” interface gives us this error:
An error occured within an XI interface: Exception occurredA:BBP_BUPA:263 -Ordering party has to be a company
    Programm: CX_BBP_BD_ERROR===============CP; Include: CX_BBP_BD_ERROR===============CM002; Line: 57
We cannot use transaction BBP_SUS_BP_ADM because EBP and SUS are in the same client (we receive this error: “If SUS and EBP are in same client, create the company in EBP”) and in EBP the ordering party business partner is already a company (if we make a search for “Purchasing Company” in transaction “Manage business partners” we can find the ordering party business partner). We have also run BBP_SP_COMP_INI transaction for this purchasing company business partner.
    Any suggestion?
    Thank you for your help.
    Marco.

  • Warning upon transfer of quotation from external catalog to SRM

    Hello,
We have implemented a punch-out catalog integration between our catalog and the client's SRM solution. However, we are facing an issue at the last stage of the integration -
Upon transfer of the items from our catalog, SAP throws a warning message to the user - "Source of quotation was deleted in vendor system". This is not the case and we are able to link the quotations to the approved orders that we receive at a later point in time. However, the client is unhappy about the user experience and would like us to fix the warning issue. Any help that you can provide  in either solving this issue or directing us appropriately will be very helpful.
    Thanks in advance
    Bala

    Hi
Please check the fileds which are getting transfer from your site to SRM and also compare the fields recieve from SRM side
    while shopping via View Source.
    Bot should be same.

  • Transfer attachment from SRM SHC to ECC PO

    Hi,
Im working on SRM 7.0.Classic scenario.I need to enable the transfer of attachments from SRM SC to R/3 PO.Can anyone explain the steps to achieve the above?
Also in case of extended classic scenario,is the attachment transferred automatically from the SRM Local PO to ECC PO?
    Thanks!
    regards,
    SRM Tech

    Hello SRMTECH,
You have to do some configuration settings in SPRO
    SPRO>Supplier Relationship Management>SRM Server>Cross-Application Basic Settings>Define Settings for Attachments.
We are also working for the same requirement. We have did following configuration / customization to achieve this.
    - Activated BADI "BBP_CREATE_BE_RQ_NEW" in SRM and set the indicator as follow:
    cs_ctrl_att-BE_DOC_TYPE = 'SRM'.
    cs_ctrl_att-BE_storage_cat = 'DMS_C1_ST'.
    cs_ctrl_att-TRANSFER_ACTIVE = 'X'.
    - In ECC Side T.code DC10 and defined document type for SRM with following
Add a New Document Type SRM (if not already exists). Set 'Use KPro', 'Version Assign' and 'Change
Docs'. Set the Internal and External Number Range (02 and 01). Use MCDOKZNR as Number Exit.
Ver No. Incr = 1 and Set the File Size (Usually 10000000 bytes).
Once the Document Type is created, define Object links to PO Item and Pur Req Item. Use - Screen
Number 247 and Screen Number 248 with Valuation Object of EBAN and EKPO for Objects EBAN
(PReq) and EKPO (PO) for Doc Type SRM.
After doing this changes we were able to transfer attachements but we are still facing one issue as we were not able to open that particular document in ECC / R3.

  • Scheduling agreement from ECC 6.0 to SRM EBP 5.0

    Hi experts
is there a way to send from ECC 6.0 to SRM EBP 5.0 all the kinds of scheduling agreements?
    thanks
    regards
    andrea

    Hi Andrea,
It is not possible to send Scheduling agreements from ECC to EBP.Same is the case with contracts.
You can only upload backend contracts to SRM. Using GOA you can create either a contract or a Scheduling agreement in R/3.
As informed by Usman, when you integrate R/3 (MM) with SUS it is possible to send S.As to vendors via SUS.
Hope this makes you more clear.Clarifications are welcome.
    Award points for helpful answers.

  • Automatic PO creation - only for PRs based on catalog SRM/EBP items

    Dear Experts,
i am facing the following question w.r.t. automatic PO creation:
Is it possible to have automatic PO creation in R/3 only for those purchase requisition items, that are based on shopping cart/EBP/SRM items that are from a third party punch out catalog?
The idea is, that the requisitioner on the SRM EBP side shops in a catalog. Once the the SC is approved and the purchase requisition is created in the R/3 system, automatically a PO should be created based on that PReq. This would save the time for the buyer, who do not need to pay attention to this document, because the purchase from the catalog guarantees the buyer, that the already pre-agreed conditions are getting applied.
But PReqs that are based on Free Text shopping cart EBP items must not be taken into account for the automatic PO creation.
Is there a way to distinguish between the catalog-based and the non-catalog based PReq positions?
    Thank you.

Auto PO transaction ME59N comes with huge selection crieteria. If you can distinguish between catelog vs non catalog requisition then it very easy to set up variant to filter non catalog based requistion. you can also think about ehnacement of polulating text fields like Requisitioner or Requirement tracking number  with unque idetifier  in case of non catalog based PR then you can set variant to filter out those requistions..

  • Issue in  product category replication from R/3 to SRM

    Mehul G Shah: BACKGROUND:
We are in the process of replicating Material Group from R/3 to SRM
    using transaction R3AR2 & R3AR4. Our Pre-Production server got
refreshed recently & this has caused all EBM data inclucing Logical
System & Destination being overwritten with EBP data.
We have maintained middleware paramaters, viz., CRMCONSUM, CRMRFCPAR,
    CRMPAROLTP & also TBE11.
We have also maintained sites in CRM Middleware Monitoring Cockpit
    using SMWP.
We have also tried after deleting entries in tables CRMPRLS (R/3) &
CRMMLSGUID (EBM) as suggested by SAP note 765018
We have followed steps mentioned in link /people/marcin.gajewski/blog/2007/02/05/how-to-replicate-material-master-from-r3-to-srm
(But we are not clear about site attributes which needs to maintain as per the CRM Middleware Monitoring Cockpit.)
    ISSUE:
Material Group gets replicated to Product Category in SRM. However, the
Product Category gets replicated with Logical System which is not
    maintained in EBM

    Hi ,
Thanks 4  ur replay,i have maintained Site attributes, please give me detail of site attributes like which attributes should i maintain ?please give me descriptive answer.
