Transferring music problem (horrible situation please help!!)
Hey yesterday was my 21st Bday my 2 sisters and one of their bf's got me the new ipod. My sisters bf has preloaded the ipod with 30gigs of music as a gift also (using his laptop) HOWEVER the problem is....uv guessed it....Does this mean i cant put my own CD collection on the ipod using my laptop, as this wil ask me to resync with the new library and hence delete the preloaded music? Can ne1 recommend the best way around this problem?maybe its happened you?
i shud also mention that i cant just copy the library from my sisters bf's laptop to mine as mine hasnt a large enough hard drive :s is ther the possibility of buying an external hard drive and being able to use it to store the library and then being able to add to it with my own music/videos/photos etc?

Happy Birthday! I believe you will have to manually manage your iPod. First, open iTunes, click on edit, preferences, and the syncing tab. Check the box titled "Disable automatic syncing for all iPods and iPhones." This way you won't wipe out the music on your iPod. Now you can select the music in the iTunes Music folder, drag it to your iPod, and delete it from iTunes to save space. Also see this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1535

I have an ipod touch 4G , and 1 time the screen was broken, I took everything out and I changed : the new screen + new Power On Off Volume Flex Cable + new battery ( just $5 for this ) . After i put everything back , I was disappointed . It just show the the battery logo like the picture below , I don't know exactly what happened . I checked everything and I thought maybe the charger port got a problem but if so , it won't show anything cause it doesnt have any lines power through it ,I think so but not sure . , and one more thing I aslo though that maybe I bought the cheap battery that's why it doesnt hold power . It made me so headache , so boring and Im tired with it . I spent a lot of time and money for it ,hopefully everything good, but it still doesn't work .Now I have no ideas
Here is the picture . just show this logo and that's it , I charged it on wall chaeger about 15 hours but same thing, nothing new happen.

I was concerned and took it to the Genius Bar and since mine was in the warranty that replaced it and it is still doing it, so it might just be the iOS. I expect an update will be released soon. I have tested on my local environment and can reproduce the issue, the issue caused by you are using the count() function in the incorrect way, please modify the expression as below and have a test:
=COUNT(IIF(Fields!TICKET_STATUS.Value=4 ,1,Nothing))
or
=SUM(IIF(Fields!TICKET_STATUS=4,1,0))

i have new ipad2 and the iTunes have only podcasts and iTunes U options. I simply can't download music or vidoes. Please help!
Not all content types are available in all countries, and unfortunately where you are you will only have apps, podcasts, iTunes U and free books - the full list of what is available where is shown on this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3599 . As the terms of use of the stores state that you can only use your own country's store, you also can't get music or films from Apple from other country's stores.
Are there other music and/or film purchase download sites that you can use in the UAE ? For music you can also copy your own CDs and sync them to the iPad -
It won't let me drag an effect from the browser all of a sudden. I have always been able to do before. I am using effects from favorites bin and when I try to drag it to the timeline, it won't move. I have never had this problem before. Please help.
P.S. I have tried other effects including transitions and it still won't let me drag.Wow that was really quick, thank you so much. Im not sure at all which version it was because i said it was around 4 years ago he bought it. I know it isn't under his username, since he's a PC person (ugh) so i know its probably registered to one of our actual names. isn't there some way to look it up since we did register it, because I'm not even sure where the disks are from when we bought it (we've moved a lot and also have two storage lockers, i know i would have kept it with other disks) but my cd rom drive is actually broken on my computer as well ( i think it got stepped on and is now squished and won't eject or run disks.)
So is there anyway they can look up that its registered to one of our names since we did register it when we bought and installed it, or do i really have to find the disk with some sort of proof of purchase (i know there would be no receipt after all this time)

I hate to say this, but unless you are paying the 25 bucks you cannot back up your library to the cloud.
All you can do is back up the items you "purchased" from Apple.

It means, the URLLink.ACSM file is corrupted. Please contact the book store and ask them to check whether the configuration in the server side is correct for that book.
One of the simple setting in the server which can case this issue is, setting the book for loan in server and providing the purchase option in the book store or vise verse.

I have the new iPhone 4s. I'm using cloud. I try to sync my playlists to my phone an it either erases them completely or keeps saying it cannot move all music files over? Please help. Also my purchased ringtones will not sync up as well.
iPod touches or any iDevices from Apple sync only to one computer. If you sync to a different computer, all your music will be replace with the music from the new computer's iTunes. If the music were purchased from iTunes, you can re-download them again otherwise the music on iPod touch will be deleted. Do you have iTunes backup?

PLEASE HELP!!
I only just got my Tm2 1010ea yesterday and I'm already having problems.
I started it up, completed the initial setup and everything was fine. Then I tried to install itunes and norton 360 (which I know had compatability issues but i tried anyway ) and then the problems started.
Firstly, the icon for the touchsmart app changed and when I went to click it, i got an error message saying the program couldn't be located. Loads of other shortcuts stopped working as well.
Even when I went to Start -> All programs
I couldn't start the HP touchsmart app. Apparently Windows couldn't find the program!!
So I did a system restore to the recovery point before I installed itunes and norton.
Some of the shortcuts started working again but not all. Also, when I launched touchsmart, I couldn't get music or video or tutorials or webcam to work. I could get calendar and some of the other apps though.
So then I did another system restore this time to the very first recovery point. But still no good.
After hours of searching the web for answers, I downloaded a driver from the hp website which fixed the music, photo and video apps in touchsmart, but I still can't get webcam or tutorials to work.
Also, my HP advisor doesn't work!!
Since I only got the laptop yesterday I don't have anything on it that I need to keep so is there a way I can delete/clear EVERYTHING so that the laptop goes back to how it was before I even set it up?
It's very frustrating because according to my program manager itunes and norton have been removed and it looks like everything system wise has been restored to the original "settings", but the fact that when i open program files or program files (x86) I still have itunes and norton folders makes me think that it's interferring with my programs!!

It's not so easy to uninstall Norton product. Standard uninstallation process always leaves some files from this software in system. You will have too use Norton Removal Tool. iTunes is often very problematic software too.
All pre-installed software on your laptop You will find in C:\swsetup folder. All latest drivers You will find here.
From this what I see the best solution on your problems will be restoring system to orginal state. How to do that? Restart your system and press F11 on boot. For more information about it check below document:

Purchased music videos completely white PLEASE HELP!
I purchased quite a few music videos from the iTunes Store and since i upgraded about 6 months ago (this is the first chance I've had to look into it!) I've had so many problems with iTunes.
Every time I try to watch a purchase music video- all I can see is a white screen with a yellowish outline of objects in the video. The sound is kinda alright, a bit crackly, but still unacceptable considering the videos are $3.69 each!
Can someone please help me out? Or just tell how I can re-download these videos for free?
