Translation Pattern not working

Hi,
i got a wierd issue.
we have 2 TP, one 8122575 (has a full DDI coming in chelmsford) and one 8151198 (has a full DDI coming in stafford)
chelsmford and stafford are 2 different locations.
the partition/css are the same for both TP.
the Called Party Transform Mask is an external number and it pre-dial 9
if i dial from external phone to the full DDI in chelmsford, i end up on the external number so it works ok
if i dial from external phone to the full DDI in stafford, it goes nowhere ...
i checked the css but cant see any reason why chelmsford tp reaches to chelmsford gw and goes isdn and why stafford does nothing
any idea?

Have you tried testing the call with Dialed Number Analyzer? I find that's a fantastic and often-overlooked tool for this kind of issue. If DNA shows the call will not route, it's probably a CSS issue for the Stafford gateway. If DNA shows the call will route, then it's probably a dial-peer issue on the Stafford gateway.

Translation pattern not matching

Hello All
I am configuring a cucm 4.2 (yes i know its obsolete) integration with Lync 2010 and am having issues with a translation pattern.
The Lync server is sending me 86xxxxxxxxxx for calls within china and will send 61xxxxxxxx for australia (strips the +)
I have configured a [^86]! which should match any international numbers (other than China) and be prefixed and sent to the gateway. Here is the wiered thing I can dial +44xxxxxxxxxx using my lync client which proves that this is matching (when i delete the translation the call will fail).
But when i dial a number like +61xxxxxxxx it doesnt get through and i get
Cisco CallManagerDigit analysis: match(pi="1",fqcn="", cn="removedbymyself", plv="5", pss="LYNC:PT_Reception", TodFilteredPss="LYNC:PT_Reception", dd="61xxxxxxxx ",dac="0")
Cisco CallManagerDigit analysis: potentialMatches=NoPotentialMatchesExist" on the traces.
The LYNC partition has the translation rules. and the CSS assigned to the sip trunk has access to it. the CSS configured in the translation rules is the also the one assigned to the sip trunk.
Anyone see this sort of thing before? how can i check if there is another transformation taking place?
Only way i get round is to put a translation patter for " ! " and it works for all international calls.

Minetest translation does not work on my machine.

After trying my luck in the official Minetest forums a week ago and got nothing more than the initial “try this-and-that” thing as response in the German discussion section and no reply at all in the regular discussion section I decided to ask on Reddit on last Saturday afternoon, too. On Reddit my question only got 3 upvotes and no comments.
Since no-one seems to know what’s going on I decided to post my question here, too.
It sems like the translation feature in Minetest does not work on my machine for unknown reason.
The language files are there and according to it’s oputput and the PKGBUILD Minetest was compiled with gettext support. LANG and LC_MESSAGES are properly set (I even tried LC_ALL). Localization works properly in all other applications that support localization.
Here’s some relevant system information.

According to the discussion in the German discussion section in the Minetest forums I tried to set language = DE (and variants like de_DE with or without .utf8 in all possible variants) in minetest.conf but it didn’t change anything. Since it seems to work for everyone else (otherwise there might be more replies to my quesions in several places, I guess *g*) I’m pretty sure that’s a local problem on my machine. But since gettext properly works on my machine in all and every application that use it I have no clue at all where to start debugging.

It seems that it has not figured out that it needs to open iPhoto 6.
Regardless, the provided link is not viewable when cutting and pasting into safari, neither.
I am using the latest and greatest 10.4.4, Safari is 2.0.3.

I have to translate the Oracle Pick slip report(XML) in other language. So I export and upload translation file for different language but still it is taking default english template. It should refer the translation file but it.s not working. Could you please suggest me if I am missing something?

Office 2010 build-in translate function not work

Hi there,
The Office 2010 translate function is not work on user's desktop, word/outlook/excel, none of them working. It was working before. at that time, I can simply select a word, right click and then select translate, from the right side pane, I can select from
English to Chinese, and then give me the detail translation information of the word. But suddenly, this function was not working anymore and we did not change anything on MS Office. When I did the same steps, it shows no results were found.
When I check the translation options, it shows English to Chinese is selected under available language pairs. The weird thing is, when I change the translation setting to from Dutch to Chinese, it translated to Chinese with the very simple result. so any idea
to get it fixed?

Imoprt/Export Strings in Translation Builder not working

Hi All,
I am new to Translation Builder.
There is a form which is referring many other forms, when I am importing strings of main form in translation builder, its not importing all prompts and only 25 out of 500 prompts. May be it is not importing prompts from other referring form.
Among above 25 prompts, I have imported translations from English to German (translation builder). But after exporting the translation and compiling the form in D folder, translated prompts are not visible in German language login.
I am following the below steps:
1. Created DB connection
2. Created New project
3. Right click > import strings
4. Base language 'AMERICAN', character set 'WE8ISO8859P1', version ='1' form=form from 'US' folder. (this form also refers other forms which are available under resource directory)
5. Right click on .fmb > add translation > translation language 'German' & Trns. character set 'UTF8'
6. RHS double click on GERMAN UTF8 > ok (here its not importing only very few prompts)
7. Provided translations > save
8. Click on version > export string and exported to d folder.
9. Logged in with German language.
Now translations are not coming.
Note: First time i am using translation builder.
Please let me know if I am missing any step or any set is required etc..

That's odd. It worked for me when I tested it. Perhaps you should try moving the current xml file to a different folder, downloading a new version, copying and pasting, and rebuilding.

NAM and "unprotected identity pattern" not working as expected

I'm trying to test such 802.1x wired environment:
windows xp sp3 as supplicant
windows NPS as radius server
2960 as authenticator
latest anyconnect (3.1.01065) + nam and standalone profile editor
I have a question:
Could someone explain me the difference between protected identity pattern and unprotected identity pattern (set in nam profile editor)? As I understand documentation PEAP-MSCHAPv2 is a tunneled method and it uses unprotected identity pattern to protect user's identity during phase 0. But if I use any fake identity here (anonymous, anonymous@[domain], etc) access is rejected (Access-Reject in switch debugs). I have to use exacly the same pattern in
unprotected identity pattern as in protected identity pattern ([username] or [username]@[domain]) to gain access, regardless of authenticaton mode (same in machine only, user only authentication)
I would be grateful for any clues

Ok I've solved it... NAM works fine, problem was with NPS config. If you want unprotected identity pattern to work, just configure authentication methods under "connection request policies" not "network policies".

Multiple IDOCs pattern not working

Hello, When I tried Multiple IDOC to single file pattern, it is not working as expected. Everytime when a idoc reaches XI, it is going to a seperate BPM queue and not collecting the IDOCs, any idea??

Yes, I have refered. I have done exaclty the same thing as in SAP Pattern for collecting multiple idocs to single file. Everything is working fine in BPM too. But the problem is whenever the idoc hits XI, it is going to a seperate BPM queue instead of a same queue. So single message for each BPM and BPM waits for 3 minutes (mentioned in BPM) and times out. But my need is all the IDOCs should come to a single BPM queue and BPM needs to collect all the IDOCs and send it as a single file.

OTR translation is not working NW 2004s

Hello all,
I am changing the translation of a standard OTR text but it is not working, once I change it the page still display the old text until I reboot the WebAS server.
Thus I deduce there is a cache or buffer that must be restart for the changes to take effect or there is a bug on NW2004s version.
Does anyone know if there is such a cache and where can I reset it, I already tried to reset HTTP cache but it did not work.

Translator is not working

my wife and I have trouble using the International Translator. The translator will not translate english to spanish. Is there any thing special we need to do to make it work?

With 10.4.8 it works more often, but still not all the time. There is definitely something broken about this translator. You can use Babelfish instead: it is exactly the same translation.

Patterns not working in adobe reader 9?

I have a numeric field which is limited to 2 decimals.
When they enter 1000 it's displayed as 1,000 in Adobe 9 and 1000 in Adobe 8.
My pattern looks like this.
z9.99
I want it to be displayed as 1000 in all versions, any ideas why the patterns are working differently and how can I make it only display numbers and . as seperator and 2 decimals.

nick'day' doesn't trunc to the beginning of the day. It truncates to the first day of the week: in your case 31st May.
'ddd' truncates to the beginning of the day.
So, leaving the second parameter out defaults to 'ddd' not 'day'.
