Transparent Background Actual Pixels and Clicking and Dragging Zoom

So I had to reinstall Photoshop for a number a reasons, and because of this I lost all of my settings.
There's two settings I lost and don't remember what I did to turn them on.
1. The Transparent Background is actual pixel size.
I don't like zooming in and seeing the transparent background not change. I liked it when it was 12x12 pixels per transparent box. What setting do I have check or change to get that back to normal?

2. Clicking and Dragging Zoom.
When I now click and drag, I gives me an area I want to zoom in. I don't like this at all. I'm not animating in flash, I'm just drawing. I liked it better when I clicked and dragged up, down, left or right to zoom in on the area I clicked on. What setting is that to enable that?

I'm using Photoshop Cs6.
If someone can tell me how to fix both of these problems I'm having, that would be grand.

The way you're seeing it work now (with the checkerboard size remaining the same on the screen no matter what the zoom) is the expected way with the Graphics Processor Advanced settings set to Drawing Mode Normal or Advanced. If you want it to work the way it did before, go into your Preferences - Performance dialog, click the [Advanced Settings...] button, and choose Basic drawing mode.
Regarding the Zoom... Select the Zoom Tool, and look in the Options bar (up near the top of the Photoshop main window). Change the [ ] Scrubby Zoom checkbox.

I can't buy apps. I have a account and click and buy account. But when I go to my account in ITunes and want to change my credit to click and buy I have to download ITunes. I did that but still I have the problem to buy apps. I can get free apps.

Nothing you can do. Apps are locked to the account that purchased them and you have to log into the account to update them.

Slow FTP upload and click-and-draggable DIVs?

Does anyone know how to set Dreamweaver to only upload files that have been changed? I imported a site I created before with an old version of Front Page, and it takes a long time to upload because it's not only uploading a bunch of files that have not been changed prior. Front Page was a lot faster in uploading since it only uploaded changed files.
Also, does anyone know how to make a DIV click-and-draggable? When I create a new DIV, I can't seem to move it without altering the underlying HTML. An imported page allows me to click and move the DIV though.

I don't know the answer to your first question, but I can answer the second one.
Use the menu at the top, and chose Insert -> Layout Objects -> AP Div. This will put an ap div on the page. Click on it
then click on the blue handle on the upper left corner. Now drag it by the blue handle. The key is to drag by the handle.
I don't think this works on anything other than ap divs.

Pops and Clicks and Delays with X-Fi Fatal1ty Platinum in Windows 7 32bit

Hi, I own an x-fi fatalty platinum sound card and I have installed the beta driver for Windows 7 32bit.
When doing things in the OS, i get occasional pops and clicks. I know exactly what it comes from, it happens when there are multiple sounds being played simultaneously. If I join a ventrilo server, the little intro sound it makes pops and clicks. If I hold down my talk key, sometimes it will pop and then play the little talk sound, sometimes it won't play the sound at all... and the same is true when I let go of my talk key.
Virtually everything I do in the OS has this weird pop and click sound associated with it. Playing music, however, doesn't have that problem because an MP3 is a continous stream of audio and counts as a single sound. It's when there are multiple sounds overlapping does it pop/click or fail to produce the sound at all or in its entirety. It's like the x-fi is delayed and isn't able to play the sound fast enough which therefore produces a pop and clicking sound at the beginning of sounds. This is why I purchased an x-fi sound card becaus it eliminated this problem from my onboard sound. Now it's BACK in Windows 7.
Also, when I play UT2004, by default there's an option called "Use System Driver" checked in the sound options. This makes everything in the game have a slight 0.25 second delay, but it's enough to make it noticeable and annoy me. If I disable "Use System Driver", it fixes the delay but the pops and clicks come back!? I can't win one way or the other.
Windows XP does not have this problem. I have tried both the stable x-fi driver and the beta driver. I have tried updating my OpenAL software. I'm not sure what to do beyond reinstall Windows 7 and try again... which I really do not look forward to doing.
If anyone could assist me, or take note of this issue so it could be fixed in later drivers, it would be very much appreciated.

Pops and Clicks and sound from movies when a photo is showing.

I have a show that is about 135 photos and 5 movies. When I view the show on my computer via iDVD everything works and looks fine. After I spend a hour and a half burning the show, after every photo I hear a click, then, the photos after the 99th one, all have parts of the sound of subsequent videos played when they display. Subsequent vids will have the sounds of still other videos playing over them.
I'm using iDVD 7.0.4 The latest version I believe.

There are many ways to produce slide shows using iPhoto, iMovie or iDVD and some limit the number of photos you can use (iDVD has a 99 chapter (slide) limitation).
If what you want is what I want, namely to be able to use high resolution photos (even 300 dpi tiff files), to pan and zoom individual photos, use a variety of transitions, to add and edit music or commentary, place text exactly where you want it, and to end up with a DVD that looks good on both your Mac and a TV - in other words end up with and end result that does not look like an old fashioned slide show from a projector - you may be interested in how I do it. You don't have to do it my way, but the following may be food for thought!
Firstly you need proper software to assemble the photos, decide on the duration of each, the transitions you want to use, and how to pan and zoom individual photos where required, and add proper titles. For this I use Photo to Movie. You can read about what it can do on their website:

Neither of these are freeware, but are worth the investment if you are going to do a lot of slide shows. Read about them in detail, then decide which one you feel is best suited to your needs.
Once you have timed and arranged and manipulated the photos to your liking in Photo to Movie, it exports the file to iMovie 6 as a DV stream. You can add music in Photo to Movie, but I prefer doing this in iMovie where it is easier to edit. You can now further edit the slide show in iMovie just as you would a movie, then send it to iDVD 7, or Toast, for burning.
You will be pleasantly surprised at how professional the results can be!

Calendar error message and click and drag issues

Hi, I'm new, very new. Never had a mac product in my life. Just got a macbook air (OS X 10.9.5) and was about to update to Yosemite when I read all the virulent anti update stuff (599 giving it one star versus 579 giving it more than one) on the app store Yosemite page. Should I take this seriously? But most importantly, will it resolve the issue of the error message in relation to the google calendar (The URL https://calendar.google.com/calendar/dav/xxxx/user/ encountered HTTP error 404), and the sudden loss of the ability to be able to pick up and drag documents which are features of my current experience, both of which issues I have read about on other forums with no definitive solutions.

I searched our server logs and didn't find any errors associated with your form in the past 30 days. Maybe I didn't use the right keywords since I don't have the error message yet. I am going to do a few test submissions to see if I will encounter any error. The test data will have the name "test test" so you can easily identify them and delete them later. Is that okay to you? I will start my testing once I have your permission.

I right click and click and click on the firefox icon but it woun't open. Also, I've tried everythng that forum has suggested with no results that way either.

The real problem has been happening for a week now. Befefore I would click on firefox and it would take a moment or so to think about opening and before that if I clicked it would open right up. Now no matter how many times I click it won't open. It does seem to think about opening because the little hour glass shows up but after a moment of showing up it goes away as well.

Making a grid, and click and drop items!!!!

I am making a game that allows the user to go into build mode and build a stage. How do i create a build mode that uses a grid on the screen to place items? 2nd question
I also need some help on when the user clicks a button and then clicks on the grid where he/she wants to place the item. how do i do that. say it is a triangle or something. thanks please help!!!!

I guess you can do it by using Listeners (MouseListeners). Also you may use a field or object to keep track of the shape the user wants to place on the stage.

NEED HELP: My computer clicks and clicks and then does other stuff

I'm hoping someone can help me.
I know this sounds like my HD is on it's last legs, but something doesn't seem right.
I have an iMac Intel Core 2 Duo and after tipping the screen back to view the RAM slot, suddenly my computer has clicks.
During start-up, it will click 6 times, stop, click again and then repeat this sequence until it reaches a grey screen with a file and question mark.
Now, I've heard this from others, but it takes just one restart and the computer is fine.
It started a week ago with just a couple clicks as it started up, but now it's every time.
I have backed up, done disk utility checks, done a SMART test, upgraded to leopard then snow leopard and NOTHING appears to be wrong.
I asked a local tech and he says that the tipping movement might have just set off my HD to kick it to the last days of it's life, but he NEVER asked me about the tests or offered an alternative solution (like, have you tried this test?...)
It was just "Ok, that will be about $200 to get a new hard drive in"
Does anyone have any thoughts or advice?

It's difficult to tell what is wrong with your computer but I'd suggest running the Apple Hardware Test, follow the link and use the instructions in the letter then report back what you found.

Reposition element and transparent background

I am trying to reposition a flash element.
Go to www.newtechnologies2000.com/badgeflash2.html.
I would like the badge and the cup in the center to be centered in the blue flash background. Cannot figure out how to do it.
Also, I would like the blue flash background to be transparent, so the web page can showup around the badge.
How can I do this?
I have attached the .fla and .swf.
EDIT-I was able to reposiiton the element, not sure why what I did earleir did not work. Still need to know how to have a transparent background on the flash.

Changing album artwork via click-and-drag gone in iTunes 12?

Is there any way to still click-and-drag album artwork for CDs I import. I just built a brand new machine and now half of my CDs artwork is either not recognized, incorrect or just not what I want. Now as a party DJ I have a lot of CDs to import and now the only way I can alter the artwork to what i want is to apparently save the image to my computer first. I think this is super asinine as I used to just Google search it and click-and-drag. Has anyone figured this one out yet? I really don't want to have to go to Windows Media Player just to get the artwork that I want, instead of what Apple wants me to have...

HT1368 what happened to click-and-drag of music to playlists?

I haven't purchased music in 6-months. I have updated I-Tunes to the current version.
Previously, I could find an artist or songs and "click-and-drag" to my playlist(s) to be purchased at a later date.
It now appears I must add them to a "wish list" instead. this seems too cumbersome.
How do I get to click and rag again?

Interestingly, As I've been copy-pasting out of iPhoto, I've noticed that it has in some cases been pasting twice.
One shoot I did was close to 400 pics and when I copy-pasted into a folder, it has each picture in there twice. That just doubled my editing time.
Not super happy about this.
Any ideas why drag-and-drop wouldn't work?
