Dear All,
My trasnport contains infoprovider. DTP,transpformations, character realtionships , aggregation levels ,web templates, programs.
I got a transport failed with Return code 12, and it is showing message :
Program terminated (job: RDDEXECL, no.: 06031600)
See job log
Execution of programs after import (XPRA)
End date and time : 20101026060421
Ended with return code: ===> 12 <===
I have short dump with 'DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR' exception 'CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB'.
in how to correct the error :
below is the detials.
Database error text........: "ORA-01578: ORACLE data block corrupted (file #
211, block # 79950)#ORA-01110: data file 211:
'/oracle/RBW/sapdata15/xbw_188/xbw.data188'#ORA-26040: Data block was loaded
using the NOLOGGING option"
did someone has the same problem .

Hi ,
A transport request was created to capture deletion of bex query via Tcode RSZDELETE. The deletion TR was moved to Quality box successfully and query got deleted. But when same TR was moved to Production box, TR failed with return code 12. Program terminated (job:RDDEXECL). Upon checking the job log overview for this job, runtime error ITAB_DUPLICATE_KEY happend causing session to terminate. can anyone pls suggest me how to fix this issue and why this has caused. Need to fix this immediately as it is in production environment. Please help.

as per the dump, system is trying to insert a unique number which is already in the system. You sure the transport is only for deletion of the query? Can you please check the import logs in the test system and should tell you what action performed during import.

Transport error failure with return code 12

Hello Experts
I was trying to transport a request which consists of four Cubes, Infosources, datasources, Update rules and communication structure from QA to Test. The transport went without any problems from Dev to QA. However, while transporting to Q, it finished with errors with return code 12 with the following error: I tried to import it thrice with no success
Program terminated (job: RDDEXECL, no.: 21120900)
I checked in SM37 and the background job for this transport gets terminated everytime with the following dump:
Error analysis
An exception occurred which is explained in detail below. The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_RSR_X_MESSAGE', was not caught and therefore caused a runtime error. The reason for the exception is: No text available for this exception

Hi Rishi ,
The Issue may be with the buffer capacity while transporting .
As i see from the post that you have captured all the objects
in one request and sent to target system . As per my experience never include all the objects in one Request .
Try to separate them depending on the onject types ,i mean datasource , infosource , ODS & cube seperately .
IF you cannot solve the problem , i think it is better to create a new request as i said in Development and try to move them to production .If next time request fail then you can look at the only that particuler Request only .

Transport failing with Return Code 12

Hi,
We're trying to transport a large number of InfoObjects and the transport has failed with the return code 12. It says the job has been cancelled. Below is the transport log

InfoObject DHIMPROG is not available in version A
Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE
Now DHIMPROG is an InfoObject that is active in DEV, and so are all its attributes. The attributes are also present in the same transport request, so I'm not clear why the entire transport could have failed because of this.
Besides, ret code 12 is supposed to be unrelated to the actual objects in the transport.
There are no dumps in ST22.
I'm facing this problem on BW Version: 3.5. Any ideas on what could be wrong here?

Hi,
This could have been becuase of system error most probably importing the request would not give the error or copy objects to a fresh request and try moving it once again if u are sure that there is no other error depicted by the error message.

My SAP System environment as follow
SAP Product : SAP NetWeaver 04
Operating System : Windows 2003 32 bit
SAP Database : MS SQL 2005 32 bit
I have installed SAP NetWeaver 04 system with system copy option. I have installed Application server & Database server on different physical server. App server : SSC2PAS3SFWBW and Database Server : SSC2PAS3SFSQW1.
After SAP NetWeaver 04 installation with system copy I have done TMS configuration with virtual system for a test, It is working fine but while releasing request form SFD system (Development system) it get error “Test call of transport control program (tp) ended with return code 0200. Message no. TK094”
I have reconfigured the TMS and check but it can’t help. TR gets release and import with OS level but at SAP level it gets error.

Transport fails with return code 12 for 0CHANOTASSIGNED Characteristics

Dear Experts,
I am transporting the 0CHANOTASSIGNED characteristics from BI Dev to BI QA.
In BI Dev, I use the option Necessary Object.
While importing request into BI QA, it fails with a return code 12. Some of the errors are:
Start of the after-import method RS_IOBJ_AFTER_IMPORT for object type(s) IOBJ (Activation Mode)
System error in lock management
Error AD 025 during after import handling of objects with type(s) IOBJ
Start of the after-import method RS_IOBC_AFTER_IMPORT for object type(s) IOBC (Activation Mode)
Error when checking the InfoObjectCatalog 0CHANOTASSIGNED
InfoObject 0ABCINDIC is not available in active version
InfoObject 0ABCPRC_TYP is not available in active version
InfoObject 0ABCPROCESS is not available in active version
InfoObject 0ACCT_TYPE is not available in active version
InfoObject 0ACTIONREAS is not available in active version
This goes on for lot of infoobjects. If I were to goto RSA1 of BI QA and check any of the above objects, they are 'INACTIVE'.
But they are 'ACTIVE' in BI Dev.
Please help me in resolving this issue.

Hi I.R.K,
I recreated a trasnport for just one Infoobject (0ABCINDIC) which was one of the objects not active as shown in the logs of BI QA while transport.
I did not make any changes or delete any data etc. I then just transported these request from BI Dev to BI QA.
The transport was successful with return code 0. I then checked this object in RSD1 of BI QA and it was activated.
Any ideas what may be the cause???

Looks like your RFC destination is wrong. The proper syntax is FINBTR@<system>CLNT <client>.

Transport control program (tp) ended with return code 0200

Hi Gurus,
Please help, we have a fresh system copy of our prod. I already configure new domain controller with one virtual system. it was meant for 2 system lanscape. PRD -> VIR. The problem now is everytime we try to release a config it shows an error

Hi,
a)If your system is UNIX check /usr/sap/trans is mounted or not?
b)After configuring TMS did you save and activate?that can be one reason.
c)tp might be corrupted.u need to upgrade your tp. (or you can upgrade to the latest kernel)

Diagnosis
Your transport request could not be exported, since all requirements were not fulfilled.
Calling the transport control program tp

which checks the export requirements, returned the following information:

Check the following points:

End of your question contains the areas to be varified.
Your SAP seems to be installed in windows environment
Check transport profile paramater and file permissions.
Try to browse the directory
WDBSSAPBWD01\sapmnt\trans\bin\ from start->run
Check with tp connecting to DB with tp connect <SID>
chceck file permission to datafile and cofiles (in case of OS UNIX)

I am trying to transport "Business Content (Statistics)", if this information can help you.
What can i do to solve the problem? I am finding some clue and i dont find anything. It will be much appreciated any idea to solve the problem.

Transport error failure with return code 12 for BIA indexed Cube

Hello,
I was trying to transport few cubes from the Dev to the QA system. However, the transport failed repeatedly with return code 12. I noticed that the version of Cubes in the target system had BIA indexes loaded on it. So, I deleted those indexes and re-transported the cubes.To my surprise, the transport went fine without the BIA indexes. This now opens up a new avenue for discussion of dropping and recreating BIA indexes for those cubes that needs to be transported.
Any thoughts on this new aspect before. Has anyone faced similar problems. I want to know your experiences before we can take this issue to SAP.

How do you transport cubes with BIA indexes.
Do you drop/recreate the BIA index before the transport.
In my case, the transport kicked off adjustment job exactly as described in [Note 1012008|https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=1012008]
Indexes looks fine once this jobs completes successfully. The transport does not fail.
Is this approach fine.
I see that most of the customers drop/recreate indexes before transporting cubes.
Can I run into data consistency issues with this approach?

Transport Ended with Return code error = 8? What we do now?

Hi all,
I was trying to transport the Update rules from Development system to Production system.
But in the middle it got failed in Quality system & given the error as mentioned below.
"Ended with Return code = 8".
What we need to do now.
Please Give ur valuable suggestions.

Pleas make sure that the target and the source for the update rules are present in the Quality sytem and are activated. if they are not present or are in inactive state then u need to transport them first and later on update rules.
Sometimes what haapens is source and targets object for the update rules are present in the quality system and we make some changes in them in development and after making changes forget to transprt the changed request for source target and directly try to transport update rules which fails giveing an error. so jst make sure that the version in Development and the quality system for the both the source and targets objects are exactly same.
i guess there would be one among the two cases mentioned above but still if its not the case then see wat error are u getting provide us the exact error so that we can be of more help to you.
