Trapcode Form and Particular Z axis issue

I have a problem using trapcode Particular and Form in the same composition ... The emitter of Particular is a light and goes from the front to the back of the composition through Z axis. The particles of the form are in the middle of this travel. What I can not do is that when the particles of the particular effect are established to be at the back of the form they always look forward ... I tried to solve it selecting an obscuration layer in the particular settings but it tells me that only serve with the 3d layers activated an this layer cannot be activated because the form effects do not work with 3d layers. I don't have any other idea!!
I hope someone knows a way to solve this! Hopefully!

Form and Particular can interact with your 3D camera but can't have true 3D integration. They'll always be in front of every layer that are below them in your layer stack.

Is there a way to create an object using Trapcode Form and then use that object as a particle in Trapcode Particular?

I made some objects in Cinema 4D and I tried to import them into After Effects CC 2014. I get an error saying 'Cannot find Adobe Premiere Pro Dynamic Link'. So I tried it in AE CC and that worked. However, I want to create a form object and then use that as a particle for Trapcode Particular. Is this even possible?

There are also size limitations or rather suggestions for particle size. If I were creating an animated 3D shape using Form or C4D and wanted to use it as a particle I would keep the size of the particle about 1/6 to 1/8 of the comp size. You would create a new comp for your particle, animate it, then nest the particle comp in your main comp, turn off visibility, and then use it as a particle in Particular.

Please Help with Forms and SQL Plus Connection Issues in XE

I am not able to connect with the Forms Builder or SQL Plus with the following errors:
When attempting to connect with the supplied website.edu:port/orcl
ORA-06401: NETCMN: invalid driver designator
When leaving the connection information blank and using my local login and password
for my copy of Oracle XE
ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
Based on some reading, I set the TNS_ADMIN user environmental variable, trying each of the tnsnames.ora locations but I'm still receiving the same errors
Location 1: DevSuiteHome\...\tnsnames.ora
Location 2: oraclexe\...\tnsnames.ora

It would have helped if you had indicated what is the full version of 9iAS that you have installed. By default the portnumber that is used is 7778.
As per the entries, they should have already been made in the config files. But check that the 6iServer.Conf file and it should contain the entries that you are being told to update. If not, then add the entries in the 6iServer.conf file and that is all you need.

Trapcode Form/Particular like plugins for photoshop?

Hello all,
I would like to know if any of you knows about any plugins for photoshop, that work the same as trapcode form or trapcode particular...
I found the Ulead Particles plugin and haven't tried it yet, but it seems from what i saw that its not that important, what it does looks to me like it can be done with brushes...
I am looking for a plugin that can shatter text or images, turn images or text into particles, and everthing trapcode form and particular can do...
I know everything can be done using the available standard tools, but i am looking for something faster..

Issues with editing in Acrobat 5 with Form and link tool

In my version of Acrobat 5, I used to be able to edit with the form and link tools. Now for example if I try to add an action in the execute menu item in the Field Properties (Form tool or Link mode), it brings up a splash window saying 'Please select the menu item you want to execute from the menu bar' and that is it, It does not bring up a list so I can not add an executable item.

Ok... so I have created a file in InDesign and exported it as a .pdf to create an interative document.
I am trying to add next page from page 1 and so on, and also hyperlinks to e-mail addresses.
I create a box by dragging using Form Tool (F) whereby Field properties window pops up.
I Name the item and choose what type of button I require, and modify the settings in Appearance.
When I then go to choose an Action... I choose mouse up, then Add... which brings up the Add an Action window.
I choose 'Execute Menu Item' from the drop down list and then try to 'Edit Menu Item' this brings up a further window 'Menu Item' with the message "Please select the menu item you want to execute from the menu bar" and here I try to choose the type of item I need to execute.
I have tried clicking on the item on the menu bar, but it makes a faint sound when I click with my mouse... but no no item is executed.
I have done this before with previous documents, but not for a while... but it does not seem to want to do it this time around.
However, I can execute the following in the same window 'Edit Menu Item'
Import Form Data
JavaScript
Movie
Open File
Read Article
Reset Form
Show/Hide Field
Sound
Submit Form
World Wide Web Link
Any thoughts?

Issue in form and cancel button

Hi,
I have created one customized form, on that form i have created one cancel button for cancelling the record.
when i click on cancel button it is not going from form , but when i close the form and open again then wont seen.
i have to cancel the record as soon as i click on checkbox and then click on cancel button. and wont appear again.
Also i have written one update statement for updating flag as a 'C'
but when i take it inside a loop (for multiple record selection) form goes hang.....
I have to write that statement, becoz end user may want to cancel a multiple record at a time
Plz suggest.....ASAP..

Check the dates.
If required perform a simulation run using forced retro date and check the corresping wagetype in Payslip/Payroll Log.
If it is ok go for an actual run with forced retro date.

HCM Forms and Proceses issue with Slary change

Hi Experts,
In HRASR_DT Tcode i have created a Z process for slaary change. I am saving a new salary for a empolyee in portal, it is saving the salary in infotype 8 correctly. But when im Reveiwing the form from Portal, it is showing salary with increased amount with some decimal point.
For Example -->
if i save a new salary as 97000.00 USD. it saves correctly (97000.00 ) in pa0008-ANSAL.
But when i am trying to review the form it shows salary as 97000.12 USD.
Please provide some way to correct it . Thanks in advance.

Hi Venkat,
To import the values from the form to workflow,make sure your binding from Workflow Container to task container is correct.
For Eg: If you want employee number to be in your workflow container. Pass the field name to the form and get the value to the workflow. Name of the worfklow container should be same as like in the form.
Field name should be passed to the container element &FORM_FIELD_NAME_1& and the value should be come from &FORM_FIELD_VALUE_1&.
This is how you can retrieve the values from the form to worklow in HCM process and forms . Hope this helps.

Save and Export Data format issue/question

Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help me with what is probably a super-simple question. I have a group of people that will use some forms. They will all have Acrobat Pro so they can save and update the data in the forms.
Here's my issue. I've tried binding both a sample XML as well as an XSD with the same results.
1.) If I save the interactive PDF containing the data connection, users can type the information in the form, but fields that are "info only" and not bound to a particular node go away. The file does generate the correct XML.
2.) If I delete the data connection (but keep the bindings), all the data stays in the form, but now my XML tags are intermixed with my fields and subforms and the xml looks pretty useless.
So, here's my question, given that users will use Acro Pro 7, how can I ensure that all data stays in the form on save and writes out xml ignoring fields that are not bound to any nodes in the xml.

Filling out form and suddenly it closes

I created a form using LiveCycle ES. The purpose is for members of our staff to simply access the blank form on our network, fill it in, print it out and submit to the office. However, many of our staff members are saying that they get about half way through the form and suddenly it just closes. Another issue is one particular text field goes blank after you tab to the next field.
Any ideas???

XML Forms and Permissions

Hi guys,
I am using EP 6.0 SP14 and have a question about how to use XML Forms and permissions.
The scenario is... We have a KM Navigation iView which displays the RenderListItem form using the NewsExplorer layout set. Several people have access to this iView, so they can create new news. Also, for each news created, there are the options Edit and Delete.
The issue is that we do not want someone to Edit/Delete the news created by another person. We want only the "owner" to do this task. Two acceptable solutions would be:
- The RenderListItem only displays the items created by that particular user, allowing it to use the options Edit/Delete.
- All news created are displayed, but only the ones created by the current user will have the Edit/Delete options available
Is it possible to reach one of the above solutions using configuration only?
I found this thread:

But it uses Java programming, which we would like to avoid, if possible.

Especially the KM framework has a lot of interfaces where you can extend the functionality with a lot of magic, which simply is not possible by just configuring something.

"Third thread"? I think you mean the thread you have referred to?! (So: Implementing a Repository Service).
To get s solid basis for this, search on google for

You can start implementing this by the KM (RF Component) wizard, which creates the basic implementation for you.

Migration MS ACCESS FORMS and Reports to Oracle (Java or Forms or Reports)

can someone tell me, how i can migrate a whole MS ACCESS 2000 mdb (with forms and Reports) to Oracle.
I think i have first migrate the Access DB with the OMWB to Oracle and in the next Step to convert the VBA Code to JAVA or Forms9i.
BUT Is there a tool available for Migrating VBA code like the OMWB ????

I don't know if this is an obvious question, but do you have MS Access 2k installed on the machine you are trying to run this from? I'm assuming yes.
If you do and there is still a problem, you should log a ticket for support who will take your mdb and help out with the issue for you.

How to receive parameters from a form and insert values in db using servlet

This is the basic code structure and I'm trying to figure out this special case with handling the multiple parameters:
1. I dont' want to use String []a=request.getParameterValues("studentname"); as hard code. The reason being the number of rows will be diyamic and I would like to get the column name and then then use an array of string to take values. But how can I connect these to form a query so that the rows goes on inserted one after other.

I'm something close to it but this segment of code throws a NullPointerException Error. I counted number of rows and columns using the methods getColumnCount() and getColumnName(i).

You have unique key field(s) on the table you are trying to insert which actually restricts you from inserting the same value again.
When you are deleting the record and issue commit there is a record to be inserted in the table which is a duplicate that's why you are getting this unique error.
As oracle is not able to insert your commit fails and stops your deletion of record from table
