Tried to put OS Mavericks on my mac, but not enough memory. Seem to be stuck and can't get back to my original set up. Any ideas how I get out of this. Thanks.

I tied to install OS Mavericks onto my mac and now find there is not enough memory. Any idea how I get back to my original set up. Bit of a novice, so any advice welcome. Thanks.

Not sure what you mean as it shouldn't have installed at all if it didn't meet the system requirements.
But here are some step by step instructions to revert.
