Tried to update my billing information

Tried to update my billing information but keep being told the info I put in does not match my current banking information. What should I do?

If it's a debit card then I don't think that they are still accepted as a valid payment method - they are not listed on this page and there have been a number of posts recently about them being declined.
The 'charge' is temporary, each time that you change the card details on your account a temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

    on ios device go to settings - itunes app stores - click on your apple id - select view apple id- and then enter password. - your billing info is in the account window. 
    on computer open itunes - go to itunes store - either sign in - or click apple id - view apple id - enter password - billing info under account window

    It might be because the billing address you provided doesn't exactly match your bank records.  It has to match your statement exactly.  See http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646.

  • HT1918 I am having a terrible time trying to update my billing information on itunes  using the IPAD. it keeps coming back with "you payment method information doesnt match your bank's records. try again or enter a new payment method". i tried everything.

    i have no way of finding out which address Itunes has on record - but i know my cc is ok, because i just purchased something in Amazon. i tried every combination of my address, and made sure the security code was correct.

    I'm having the same problem. I've had the same bank for 12 years & haven't changed anything but it still says my information doesn't match. I used the same debit card to buy something online right after I got this message. Anyone have any ideas????

    I urgently need to download a business application and I had not been able to change my credit card type to be use in my apple iphone.  I does not have the credit card that I had been using in my previous iphones and I want to change it but the message that the iphone is indicating that the info does not match my bank records.

    Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing when trying to update your billing information associated with your Apple ID.  Many times this is caused by a formatting error:
    When there is a mismatch between the iTunes Store's records and your credit card company's records, you will receive an error message stating that your credit card's security code isn't valid or that your zip code does not match your bank's records.
    In most cases, this issue is caused by a formatting error in the billing address that you have provided. You can correct the issue by verifying that the information you have provided is correct, or by changing the format of your address to match the format that your credit card company has on file.
    I recommend following the steps below:
    You can verify and/or modify your billing address by following these instructions:
    Open iTunes.  If you are signed in to iTunes, skip to step 4.
    Note: Verify that you are signed in to the correct iTunes account. If you are unsure which account you're signed into, choose Store > Sign Out and proceed to step 2.
    Choose Store > Sign In.
    Enter your account name and password, then click the Sign In button.
    Choose Store > View My Account.
    Click the Edit Payment Information button.
    In the Payment Method section, choose None.
    Click the Done button at the bottom of the page.
    Click the Edit Payment Information button again.
    Enter your billing address exactly as it appears on your credit card statement.

  • HT1918 I went in and updated my billing information and it's still saying wrong sercurity code

    I'm trying to update my application on my iPad 3... Every time I do it keeps bringing up billing. So I sign in there n do my information and it says wrong sercurity code when indeed its right. I also went and tried to update my billing information and I keep getting same thing. Could this be bc I moved from ny to Alaska...I really need help on my updates

    You might want to double check the information that you changed. The billing address that you entered for your credit card must match exactly what it says on your credit card statement and that could bw why you are getting this message.
    If the address on your CC statement has your Street showing as "Street" and you are using the abbreviation "St.", things like that can cause problems. Maybe a spelling error in your iTunes information - anything like that could cause this.

    I need to update my billing information, but have not been able to gain access to the Adobe Store to do-so.  I have been trying since late last week, but am met with this error everytime:

    There was a problem in the store. If you wish to complete your purchase immediately, please call (800) 585-0774 (U.S./Canada).
    I have put off calling in hopes this error gets remedied, but am beginning to lose hope. When I live currently provides me with very little in the way of phone reception; as a matter of fact, I rarely have reception any place I go nearby.  That is the reason I've yet to call and, quite frankly, don't want to have to.
    Please advise.

    I got same error. I even tried your recommandation.
    I am using a MAC with OS X 10.8.3, Safari and Chrome browsers. I am from Romania.
    Let me tell you what I tried so far:
    1. Using Safari or Chrome I tried several times to reactivate my subscription by editing billing informations and using same debit card details.
    2. I tried from adobe.com and from creative.adobe.com. On the second one an error said: There is an error on our end. Please try again later. I tried several times without succes.
    3. I spoke with an agent of yours. No solutions found. They all sent me two phone numbers to some resellers from my country that instead of helping me in any way they tried to sell me a new subscription. That is not OK.
    Therefore in the last three days I tried and tried but the same error appears over and over again:

    There was a problem in the store. If you wish to complete your purchase immediately, please call 800 0280148.
    I do not even know where to call. I tried calling as a US number. It says it is not in service.
    Here is what appears on my account when trying to reactivate it and renew the billing details from creative.adobe.com:

    Now the money are on my bank account. I am stuck and cannot work for the last three days. And yet I have no solution to renew it or to renew the billing informations.

  • Cannot Update My Billing Information- URGENT HELP NEEDED

    My credit card expired and when i try to update my billing information the "save" button doesn't work. I tried it on Chrome, Firefox, Explorer...on a PC and a Mac.. clear cookies and history several times and nothing. I tried it for several days now. I Just dont got any message on the page. That "save" button doesent do any action.
    If i go to the "Profile" tab and return to "Plan Information" tab then this message appers:
    "We're sorry, something seems to be wrong on our end. Please try again later."
    This new adobe site is horrible... so buggy!
    Tried the online chat help and the guy could't do anything and sugested to do it by phone and the Adobe Portugal Custumer help number listed on the adobe DOSENT WORK!!!!!!

    It's a credit card, not a debit card ? As far as I know that message will show if you are trying to use a card that was not issued by a bank in the same country as where your iTunes account is based (and you need to be in that country).
