Trouble downloading Premiere Elements 11 trial

I have downloaded Adobe Download Assistant and the trial of premiere elements 11, but every time I try install it an error message 1935 pops up and it rolls back. I have updated windows, apple QuickTime, run a disk cleanup, run a defragmenter, and turned off my anti-virus but the same thing keeps happening. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Trouble downloading Premiere Elements b/c serial number

I can't download Premiere properly because it requires me to enter a serial number. There is a character limit on the box asking for the serial number and my number doesn't fit. Therefore, I am unable to download Premiere. I bought the student package last night that comes with photoshop and premiere elements. I went through the exact same process with Photoshop and had no problems.

Where are you getting the serial number from?
Typically the serial number is in the format...
xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx
I have not run into the situation where you need a serial number to download a product. I would think you need a serial number to install a product?
Is the request for a Product Key or serial number?
Please review and comment.

when downloading i get in the middle of it a message telling me that the application manager is corrupt. Any ideas what is wrong?

Adobe premiere elements trial download link not working

actually, note to other downloaders, when this screen below pops up,
click the link at the top of the pop up downloader to install Akamai downloader,reads : dont see the installer? try reopening it ( you click that link in the download pop up
I was only able to download 252mb of a 1.2 gig file, then had to restart the download the next day because I had used the direct links for file 1 and 2 at the bottom of that initial pop up as can be seen by the two download windows to its right, if you need to resume your download because of lost internet connection or time reasons you`ll have to start again,,
however once akamai has installed automatically, or you downloaded and installed manually, you`ll get this download window when you attempt downloading premiere elements 8 (or any other adobe software).
once the download is complete a golden yellow tab will read "install now" in the akamai downloader window,
unfortunately for me I received the following error on installation, even if trying to install to different folder I get the same error,
trying to manually open the file gets me this error
so far this has been a breeze,
using win7 64bit. quadcore. HP pavillion laptop. shouldn`t matter

Can I download Premiere Elements 7 trial?

Does anybody know where can I download Premiere Elements 7 trial? My school is using Premiere Elements 7 and I'm afraid I'm going to have compatibility issues with Elements 9 and 7.

That might be a tough one, as PrE 7 is now two years and two versions old, I would anticipate that the trial downloads are long gone.
Also remember, any Project done in any "trial" version will be watermarked, so you might not be happy with the results. This FAQ Entry will tell you more about the watermark.
Good luck, and I hope that someone else might have a URL to the download, but I would not hold my breath, due to the age of that version.

The Premiere 11 file must be downloaded directly via your own browser, not via Adobe Download assistant. Find the direct download page here for anybody interested:

This is the file for 64 bit operation if you have a 64 bit capable computer. Just Unzip this file then click on setup.exe in that file and the installer will be launched.
There is a choice of 32 or 64 bit files to download.
Adobe keeps pointing you to the Adobe download assistant but Premier 11 is not available on this installer! It's a shame that large organisations like Adobe are so sloppy with their customer instructions. This one is really misleading. Please take note Adobe.
Now I can start a Premiere 11 trial to make sure it can cope with my video and my computer on 64 bit working before purchasing.

Adobe Premiere Elements Trial Installation Problem

When I try to install the Premiere Elements trial, I keep getting the message, "Sorry an error has occurred. The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author."

Trying to download premiere elements 12

I had no trouble downloading photoshop elements 12, It installed correctly, but for premiere elements 12 all I got was 2 zip files:
     PremiereElements_12_WWEFDJ_win32 and PremiereElements_12_WWEFDJ_win64
but nothing else happened.   How do I install it? I have Windows 8.

I have windows 8 64-bit.   I clicked that zip file, and then had 2 files:
PremiereElements_12_WWEFDJ_win64     7z Archive    1,229,388 KB   and
PremiereElements_12_WWEFDJ_win64      Application   1,506 KB.
Both files are in the same folder.   When I clicked the Application file, I get
this error message:
     The file archive part of Adobe Premiere Element 12 is missing.
     You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe
     Premiere Elements 12. Please download all parts.
I also tried deleting the files and did the download again. . . it was from
www.adobe.com/go/getserial.   The download manager was arvato bertelsmann.
original file was 2.30 GB and the download completed successfully.
What do I try next?

PrE 12. How to deal with black screen "Created with Adobe Premiere Elements trial version"?

I'm really considering purchasing PrE 12 and would like to try it out. (I have another video editing software and would like to try this one.)
When I add video, I get a black screen "Created with Adobe Premiere Elements trial version". When I hit play, I can hear audio, but I don't get any video (just the black screen). Is there a work around, a setting that I can change, or is the trial version supposed to show the black screen?

Whenever I try to download Premiere Elements 11, after putting in my code and hitting the download button, I get an error from https://red.protexis.net/ saying "The URL you are trying to reach is not a valid URL. If you clicked on a link in an email, please check that link and try copying and pasting the full link into your browser. Otherwise, please return to the retail site and try accessing this URL again." I downloaded Photoshop Elements from the same page just fine, but for some reason, PrE won't work. I have tried restarting the computer and retyping the code, but nothing seems to fix it. I really need this program as soon as possible, is there any way to get it to download?

Did you download and purchase the original installation files from Adobe? Did your old computer have a Windows operating system? Does your new computer have a Windows operating system?
