Trouble with Adobe viewing videos on FB?

For some reason, every time I attempt to view a video on Face Book lately, it will not show and says I need to install a different version of adobe. Anyone else having this problem? How have you been able to fix it? I can go on you tube and they play fine. Just have problems in FB.

When I tap on facebook mobile, the video will open up in a new webpage. I have to request a desktop site to see the video in the same page, but this is not the issue.
I understand that there are some issue with this as well. What kind of video is being posted as well as what device are you visiting the mobile facebook from, the hardware is also known to cause issues if it is arm7.

Still having trouble with Adobe Viewer

I'm still having the issue that when I have multi state objects, (state 1 is off the page, state 2 is on the page) the hidden state (state 2) is showing up on the iPad Adobe Viewer when you click the |||| icon from the menu in the upper left corner. In the overlay creator panel 'tap to play/pause' is not checked. 'Cross Fade' and 'Hide before playing' are checked.

What I was able to determine: In the Oject States where all the states are listed. The State where there is no object in view needs to be listed first. (doesn't matter what state number it is, just needs to be first in the list) When I did this for all my MSO's there was no viewing problems!! There is no application named Adobe 5, so you might have to provide the correct name for the application. If it happens to be Creative Suite 5 (CS5) there is a good chance it is compatible with your computer but you might have to install it in a compatibility mode. If you want to remove it you should first deactivate it. YOu might also do well to use the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool...

As far as I know there are no free upgrades, especially if the reason would be lack of compatibility. It might be true if you were to have purchased one version when the next version was just about to be released, but CS5 is well beyond being considered for that. Software is not freely upgraded to match newer machines - that's part of life.
Just in case... if the lack of compatibility is due to your machine not meeting the tech specs of CS5, then it will most likely be true that your machine does not meet the tech specs of anything newer than that.

If you import the PPT deck into Captivate it will not bring the audio from Presenter. But you can import it into Captivate after the slide deck has been imported. The audio files aren't necessarily named in a logical fashion in the source files for the presentation, so I would recommend that you publish the presentation locally and then find the 'data' folder in the published output and the audio files will be named in a way that you can infer the slide they are associated with. Not the simplest proceedure but it should be pretty painless.

I have a MacBook Pro 13' late 2011, several months ago I updated my mac to mountain lion and I can say its really great operating system and I really enjoy working with it. The only problem I have is that more than twice a day while using my computer for reading a paper in PDF or in online PDF's or sometimes watching flash videos online, cooling fan starts to work faster and when I look up in the activity monitor, more than 60% of the CPU processing is engaged with Adobe player/viewer and I have to kill the process to stop cooling fan and release the cpu process. My adobe products are in the latest update and there should not be any problem about that.
Please help me solve this problem and enjoy more than ever from your creative products.

Flash has always been a problem hogging the CPU. Recent versions, however, have been a little better. You might try Adobe Flash Player 11.7.700.169. I would also recommend the Safari extensions ClickToFlash 2.7.5 and FlashToHTML5 2.4.

Trouble with Adobe FlashPlayer download????

Hope someone can help! I'm using an HP Pavillion, with Windows Vista. This was my brother-in-laws computer so I'm not to familiar with all its "internal" parts or things that have been downloaded or updated. Anyhow, I went to watch a video from the NY Post website and it would prompt me to download the Adobe FlashPlayer, which is exactly what I did, follwed all the prompts to install it and so forth, when I went back to the website to again view the video, it again is promting me to download adobe flashplayer???? Why is it doing this, do i need another program in conjunction with Adobe FlashPlayer in order for it to work, or for the websites to recognize that I do have adobe downloaded??? Can anyone help me please???

Trouble with Adobe Bridge CS5.5 for Mac Lion Photo downloader

Hi, I am having trouble with CS5.5 Bridge's photdownloader when I am trying to choose a folder location.
Im using Lion / Mac
When I try to choose say an external drive or another folder location it will freeze up and stay on "Choose" the button flashes on and off but when i try to click it it will not respond or select the desired file location
The photodownloader does not respond to any other commands..i have to force quit it..yes i have re-booted..re-started and problem remains..
The only way i can download photos is by choosing the first file option of the pictures file on my harddrive which is not want I wish to do..i have noticed that this started happening after the Raw update..was wondering if this is affecting Photodownloader..
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated..thank you

I agree with Jennie - the beauty of "get photos from camera" is that it takes 2 steps out of the workaround you mention above. Personally, I'm okay living with 6.4.1, as I have an older camera. I won't be happy if one of the push updates re-updates me to 6.5 though. I wouldn't want to redo the reinstallation of the new version. This method will not work for any of my clients or students though - they normally can't comfortably follow the technicality of downgrading, and some have newer cameras and would need the 6.5 version. (I don't believe in betas for my clients, and neither do they, for the most part)
I guess I should thank Adobe - some of my clients have needed tech support to perform the downgrade (SO many people aren't comfortable technically), and some of my clients needed to be retaught the workaround SG mentions. Adobe's flub has actually made me a little money - which I'd rather not have to make this way.
SG's workaround does work and makes sense - but for my clients with hundreds of images at a time, who have to rename items, add copyright info, & etc., this more than doubles their work-time for the start of their workflow. I hope Adobe gets that GM version out soon.
BTW - this issue supports an argument I've hadfor years regarding "PUSH" updates. I always tell my clients and students not to do them until they research the update. Because of what I do, I do have to install them personally, but I'm grateful I'm comfortable fixing things myself.

Hi. I'm having trouble with my Adobe CC teacher and student subscrition and the Adobe CC desktop application. On my Macbook, adobe CC desktop application doesn't recognize my adobe subscription, but on the Adobe web site page there is my account page and i see the FREE subscription and the Premium, correctly paid. I try to uninstall the Adobe CC desktop app and to logout of adobe cc folder, but when i reinstall the desktop app, it recognize the free subscription and not the Premium. Someone could help me, please?

Trouble with Adobe Premiere Elements 12

HI! I registered a new Adobe Premiere Elements 12.
No pb to install. No problem to register in my Adobe ID.
But when I try to open Premiere Elements 12 I'm asked to sign in to my Adobe ID, I clic Sign in and I get a frame saying Please connect to Internet and retry.
Nothing is wrong with my Internet connexion.
I have no problem with Adobe ID (I'm an Adobe CC user for Photosop CC).
What can I do to be able to use the software I bought???

Trouble with Adobe Flash 11 functioning after install

After installing Adobe Flash Player 11 and receiving confirmation, it still will not function when trying to view video. Have removed previous program, followed instructions and tried install several times and still no luck.

Still having trouble with Adobe AIR - Trying to download free trial.

I'm having an issue with Adobe AIR. Last month I purchased Photoshop CS 5.5 with the agreement of a free upgrade to Photoshop CS 6 10 days after it comes out (should be today that I get the CD key, right?) and I'd like to get myself ready to just plug the key in and go, especially considering the trouble I had actually downloading PS CS 5.5 (not too promising, eh?).
I can see the yellow DOWNLOAD button and when I click it Adobe AIR comes on and asks me to read the license, etc. I click AGREE and... it closes immediately. Every time.
I've tried on a few different browsers and don't have any anti-virus messing with it.

You will still need to resolve the AIR issue to install the software as we use it's components in many of our Creative Applications. I would recommend reviewing Troubleshoot AIR installation | Windows - http://helpx.adobe.com/air/kb/troubleshoot-air-installation-windows.html.
You are also welcome to follow the steps listed in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download. Depending on the Adobe product though you are installing you will need to have Adobe AIR functioning for a successful installation.

Trouble with Materialized View

I'm in need of some help enforcing data integrity using a materialized view. In my example, each system may consist of three types of components and this is modeled using supertype/subtype relationships. I'm trying to enforce that, for a given system, a component cannot reside in more than one component table. For example, given System 1, if Component A exists in the mobile_components table, it cannot be inserted into the desktop_components table for System 1. Rather than using triggers, I'm attempting to use a materialized view with unique constraint to enforce this rule based on the example from Tom Kyte's "The Trouble With Triggers" article http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/issue-archive/2008/08-sep/o58asktom-101055.html. However, I can't seem to get it to work as it gives me ORA-12054: Cannot set the ON COMMIT refresh attribute. I'm using UNION ALL, and I know that can be tricky, but I can't figure out what rules I'm breaking. I have the necessary privileges. Oracle 11g. Can anyone help?

You need a marker column to distinguish which of your queries you union, that data came from:

Trouble with Adobe Photoshop Editor

After installing both the Adobe Photoshop and Premiere, I am having trouble with the Photoshop Editor. The first time the program opened, no problem, after closing it, and returning later, that portion would not open. I have to shut down my computer, turn it back on to get the editor to open. If I leave and come back, same thing. The Organizer workis fine.

I'd ask which OS is the PC running. Sounds like the question I post where a subtask of Photoshop isn't closing properly under windows 8.
So when you re-launch is say ' dude your running, but your not. left in limbo. You need to manually close photoshop. Rebooting is the simpliest way my users like.
I've also created an icon on their desktop that issues a 'taskkill /f /FI "IMAGENAME EQ Photoshop*"

Trouble with help viewer

Hi!
My help viewer is not any more helpful. First when I opened help viewer for any application it appeared onlye blank window. I tried many different ways to fix it searching in google. Then I tried to solve problem re-installing HV with PACIFIST http://www.charlessoft.com/. And now report says "no help available for..." if I try to get help for any application. Any ideas how could I re-install or solve this problem?
BTW using pacifist was successful reinstalling Dictionary.

I've never got sollution with my problem with Help Viewer. I fixed it, but somehow some of information appeared on... chinise or I don't know what language. Recently, I had a trouble with my HD and I just went to Genius bar. They fixed everything fast and very good(hope), but I've never got clear answer what exactly happened with my MacBook...
