Trouble with .dwt (i have provided photos of code)

I work for a university and I am working on work that other people have done. They have created a main.dwt file that sets the framework for the site. I needed to add a button to the top menu bar and to edit the menu bar you must be in the .dwt file. Here is an image of the code and the line i added to the .dwt file
After modifying the .dwt file here is the snapshot of the html file
Not sure what i am missing here, im familar with dreamweaver but never use the .dwt feature before

yes i opened the dwt file, added the new tab, did the save as but NOT as index.html saved as the main.dwt
So, you just did FILE | Save, and not FILE | Save As..., right?
OK.
What happens if you open index.html and apply the modified main.dwt to it with MODIFY | Templates > Apply Template to Page....? Do you see the change happen then? If so, then just do the same with the remaining child pages and upload them.

Trouble with songs that have no albums

Hey,
I have a new video ipod, but I'm having a bit of trouble with the feature where, when you click on an artist with only one album, it goes directly to the list of songs in that album, instead of the list of the albums. The issue is with artists where I have one full labeled album and another song or two not in the album with the Album field left blank. When I click on the artist, it goes directly to the list of songs on the one album I have, making it impossible to access the song that isn't in the album. You can only get to it by going to the list of all the songs on the ipod. Is there anyway to fix this, or disable the feature that goes directly to the album tracks when you only have one album for an artist? Thanks!

Thanks! It's not a neat solution, but until the apple guys fix this problem in the software I guess it's what I'll have to go with.

There is a correct way of doing it i.e. click Help | Check For Updates in 3.6.16
If on the other hand, you downloaded 4.0.1 from Mozilla.com and it's working, then you don't have to uninstall anything. The installation will have overwritten the necessary files, so there's nothing to uninstall.

Trouble with one page...photos not showing

Hi, I love iweb! Just found it and immediately put it to use. Much better/faster than trying to put this site together in Dreamweaver!
The site I put together at http://www.stonecreekstudios.com/111508 works well on my macs. However, the third page of photos shows blank on my Dell laptop (and on other family laptops).
I pulled album from iphoto for the third photo page, just like for the other 2. Then I published to folder. Loaded folder to my website on earthlink using Fetch. Looking at directory, it looks like all photos for that page are there...they just don't display!
Any help would be appreciated! Going crazy trying to figure this out!

No its not. When I first started I used MMe and forwarded my domain name there. I then decided that my site was not loading fast enough and then it actually went down for a few days during the transition from .Mac to MobileMe. As my site is for work, I could not afford to have it down for long periods, so uploaded directly and have never looked back.
I think you might need to use another ftp client though. Download Cyberduck for free. I started out using Fetch and had lots of problems, with thinking files were uploaded, but in fact were not. Once I started using Cyberduck my problems ended.

HT6378 Is anyone havig trouble with the date of uploaded photos?

I am using iCloud Photo Library since its launch, and I am uploading all of my pictures, even those taken with my DSLR camera. The beta app works fine, but the photos I uploaded are presented with the date different from that one taken. I looked at the time and date of any modification, but even this is different from the date registered on the iCLoud Photo Library. Is anyone having the same problem?

The uploaded files still contain the original digitized date/time. You can test this by downloading or emailing a photo from iCloud.com or from your iPad/iPhone and then checking the metadata. This is also the case for photos taken on the iPhone or iPad and uploaded to iCloud Photo Library directly. Again, the digitized date/time is correct in the image file.

Having Trouble With Windows XP Installation. Photo of error message inside.

This is the message I get every time I try to download Windows XP onto my iMac.

How is your internal harddisk organized ?
Do you have one single OSX volume on it, or is it partitioned ?
The mentioned 'Disk 1' and 'Disk 2' are irritating me, do you have any external harddisks connected and running ?
If so, disconnect them all and every other external device except mouse and keyboard when installing Vista.
Have you the BootCamp Assistant in OSX (folder Applications/Utilities) to partition your internal harddisk for installing Vista as per the BootCamp Installation Guide http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/

E-Mailing Photos from iPhoto - Having trouble with resolution

I am having trouble with emailing pictures from i-photo. When I email pictures as attachments they end up being low resolution versions and the receiver can not print them. I can not figure out what sort of setting I must have set. Please help.

1 - how are you selecting and attaching the photos?
2 - what is the resolution of the photos in iPhoto?
3 - if you are using the iPhoto e-mail capability (recommended) you select a photo(s) and click mail - there you can choose actual, large, medium or small
4 - this creates an e-mail message in the e-mail client of your choice (iPhoto preferences) - if you are using Apple mail in the lower right hand corner under the e-mail there is a menu where you can set Actual, large, medium or small
Be sure that both selections are set the way you want them - if either is se tto small you will send a small (low resolutin) photo

My settings say I have a photo import on a...non-color 20 gb ipod??

When I go to the main screen, then click settings, then click Main Menu a bunch of options come up. But that is not the part I'm having trouble with. I have a non-color 20 gb ipod, but when i go there it has an option of showing photo imports and voice memos? HELP!!! I am confused, can it store pix or not?

The iPod w/o a color screen can store pictures but it cannot show pictures. The iPod acts like a hard drive - it can store any type of file. Those options are for accessories like the Belkin iPod Microphone Adapter or the (late) Belkin Camera Adaptor.

Does anyone else with iOS7 have trouble with Wallpaper photo resizing in iphone5?

After updating to iOS7 I am no liner able to resize/scale photos to use as a wallpaper. Is there a fix to this?

My wallpaper photo on my iPhone 5 is now wider and shorter. My kids faces are cut off on each side, and the top part of the screen is just black. The row of top icons have black behind them, the wallpaper reminds me of watching flatscreen digital on an old CRT TV. I could not fix it under wallpaper and I no longer have that photo in my photos so I can't try to resize it under photos to re-wallpaper it. I'm hoping I don't have to choose a different photo. (I wish it would automatically save the wallpaper and all contact photos somewhere to access them for printing or resizing or whatever in the future.) Other than the size change it made to my wallpaper photo, I love iOS7!

There is also a setting in restrictions - Settings>General>Restrictions>Privacy>Photos and one for Facebook, did you restrict anything in there?

Trouble with Adobe Bridge CS5.5 for Mac Lion Photo downloader

Hi, I am having trouble with CS5.5 Bridge's photdownloader when I am trying to choose a folder location.
Im using Lion / Mac
When I try to choose say an external drive or another folder location it will freeze up and stay on "Choose" the button flashes on and off but when i try to click it it will not respond or select the desired file location
The photodownloader does not respond to any other commands..i have to force quit it..yes i have re-booted..re-started and problem remains..
The only way i can download photos is by choosing the first file option of the pictures file on my harddrive which is not want I wish to do..i have noticed that this started happening after the Raw update..was wondering if this is affecting Photodownloader..
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated..thank you

I agree with Jennie - the beauty of "get photos from camera" is that it takes 2 steps out of the workaround you mention above. Personally, I'm okay living with 6.4.1, as I have an older camera. I won't be happy if one of the push updates re-updates me to 6.5 though. I wouldn't want to redo the reinstallation of the new version. This method will not work for any of my clients or students though - they normally can't comfortably follow the technicality of downgrading, and some have newer cameras and would need the 6.5 version. (I don't believe in betas for my clients, and neither do they, for the most part)
I guess I should thank Adobe - some of my clients have needed tech support to perform the downgrade (SO many people aren't comfortable technically), and some of my clients needed to be retaught the workaround SG mentions. Adobe's flub has actually made me a little money - which I'd rather not have to make this way.
SG's workaround does work and makes sense - but for my clients with hundreds of images at a time, who have to rename items, add copyright info, & etc., this more than doubles their work-time for the start of their workflow. I hope Adobe gets that GM version out soon.
BTW - this issue supports an argument I've hadfor years regarding "PUSH" updates. I always tell my clients and students not to do them until they research the update. Because of what I do, I do have to install them personally, but I'm grateful I'm comfortable fixing things myself.

After reading your post, it sounds like you are experiencing an error with Safari. You may want to consider resetting your device, which is different from restarting. This article provides detailed instructions for Restarting, and Reseting:
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
How to restart
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
How to reset
You should reset your device as a last resort and only if you can't restart it.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
