Trouble with the latest ipad update 4.3.3
Today I updated my iPad with the lastest update 4.3.3. It shows I'm connected to my wireless network with the 3 radial bars. When I check the systems settings it recognized my router, yet when I try to get mail or browse the internet I get a message saying "Safari cannot open the page because it is not connected to the internet. How do I resolve this?
I restarted and it works!!! I held the home button and the lock button until the apple appeared. All is good in the world again!

As it says above, i have been having a lot f trouble with my ipod classic and the latest itunes update, i was unable to sync songs or anything to it and have tried every conceivable 'fix' i could find. i have run an itunes diagnostic and the results are posted below. a major problem is that when i try and view my ipod through my computer it displays nothing at all on the ipod, no files or anything, this may be the problem but i have no idea how it has happened or how i could resolve it.
This ipod holds huge sentimental value and i am loathe to buy a new one! If anybody can help it is greatly appreciated, than kyou in advanced.

When I actually play the videos it's fine, the issue only occurs with still images. This doesn't show up with vimeo videos.

This does not occur with other browsers with the latest flash update.
The problem also shows up even with add-ons disabled and testing it with a new profile.
Does anybody have an idea with how to fix this, or is it a problem on adobe's end?I've fixed the problem by installing the older version of Flash Player (v11.2.202.235).
- First, download the uninstaller from [http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html here].
- Close your browser(s).
- Run uninstaller and remove flash player.
- After the uninstall process, download and install the old version from [http://www.oldapps.com/flash_player.php here].
Note: Download "Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.235 (Non-IE)" if you are using 32 bit OS

Has anyone had problems with the latest Lexmark printer driver update? My Lexmark printers won't work with the latest driver update. If I reinstall an older version of the drivers, they work.
Mine crashed once with new update, but working fine.
I had to delete old printer, restart iMac, and then reinstall

After updating with the latest software, when trying to edit a photo, it disappears (black screen) or screen is full of lines. If I blindly crop or edit the photo, when I exit edit mode, those changes have been made, but obviously this is unacceptable. Is this a bug with the latest software update?
There are several possible causes for the Black Screen issue
1. Permissions in the Library: Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Include the option to check and repair permissions.
2. Minor Database corruption: Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.
3. A Damaged Photo: Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and right click on it. From the resulting menu select 'Show File (or 'Show Original File' if that's available). (On iPhoto 11 this option is under the File -> Reveal in Finder.) Will the file open in Preview? If not then the file is damaged. Time to restore from your back up.
4. A corrupted iPhoto Cache: Trash the com.apple.iPhoto folder from HD/Users/Your Name/ Library/ Caches...
5. A corrupted preference file: Trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder. (Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
If none of these help: As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there? -
I can only listen to music in iTunes when i'm connected to the internet. Everything seems to have uploaded onto iCloud - something I didn't sign up for. Happened with the latest iTunes update.
All of the music is still on my computer, but when I play it through iTunes, it either buffers first (when I'm connected to the internet) or it is greyed out (offline) and I can't listen to it.
This is beyond annoying. Is there anything I can do to sort this out?

Via iCloud on Wi-Fi about ten minutes at the most. Via iTunes, about the same.
Reset your iPhone.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Then tap Settings > General > About then scroll to Version. If it says: 7.1.2 then the update was complete.

First, contact Focusrite and make them aware of your LM/Logic problems. I'm communicating with a rep who said he wasn't aware of any issues with LM and Logic.
Next, I speculate the latest driver of the Version 2 software can't live up to it's claims of variable latency. When I follow the minimum latency of 1032 for the LM manager (as posted on their support site), LM and Logic behave well. The problem for me is I never use 512 in Logic. -
I kept all my iPhones after I upgrading to the latest one each time my 2 year contract was up so I have an iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 & iPhone 4S. I actually still use all 3 phones for different purposes. My iphone 3gs is not activated, but I still use it for apps among other things when connected to wifi. My iphone 4 & 4s are both activated with 2 saparete phone numbers, but I have all 3 devices on the same iTunes account. I never noticed this to be a problem until just recently when I was thinking about selling one of my iphones since I'm now due to upgrade again to the iPhone 5. Well my problem is that when the latest iphone software update came available I noticed that all 3 iPhones had a notification letting me know that there was a new update available & I didn't want to update my iphone 4 & 4S until I had a recent back-up on my pc just incase anything went wrong like once before. Referring to the last time I updated my iphone 4s for some reason right in the middle of the update it lost connection. So I had to restore my entire phone from scratch & because I didn't check to make sure that had a recent back up right before I updated I ended up losing a lot of important information. So anyway since my iphone 3GS I knew had a recent back up & plus it doesn't have a lot of important information stored on it I chose to go ahead & update it first. Then later on when I went to update my other two iPhones I noticed the notification that was there before on all my phones to let me know the update was available was now gone & it would not give me the option to update either of my other two phones. I don't know if this is true or not, but I was later told that Apple will only let you download the free update software on only one device on each iTunes account & since I have all 3 devices on one itunes account I could only choose to update one. I didn't know this beforehand so I used the update on my 3GS which I barely use except to play with on wifi & now my other two iPhones which are the main ones I use are both activated now function very slow & constantly crash. Also if I was to choose to sale one of the iPhones without the latest software update on it does that mean that the new owner will not be able to get the latest update meaning the phone would be out of date without having that latest software installed? If anyone knows how to help me fix this or give some advice I would really appreciate!!
That's utter non-sense.
Just connect your 4 & 4S, iTunes running, & hit the "Check for Updates" button, or you can update directly on the phones(if running iOS 5.0 or higher): Settings>General>Software Update.
iOS 6.1.3 is the current iOS version for both phones. -
Can not burn CD's with the latest iTunes update
I accepted the latest iTunes software update and I am now using iTunes 10.5.1. When I go to burn a Disc, my computer (not just iTunes freezes). I tried running the diagnostic and it freezes when I select my CD/DVD Drive. I spoke to a senior tech person at Apple and they indicated that the latest version of iTunes conflicted with GEAR drivers that were installed with other CD burning softwares (I have not downloaded anything new and the GEAR Drivers never conflicted with ITunes b/4 this last update).
I am running windows 7 on a brand new HP Slimline Pavillion. I checked with HP and there are no firmware updates for my computer (nor Optical).

I followed the process, even though it involves going into the registry and deleted the 32 and 64 bit GEAR Driver. It did not solve the issue!!
Is anyone else having this problem? HELP?!?!?!?!? ALYou can edit them using Get Info.

After installing the latest updates to Snow Leopard the system hangs up and will not open properly. This is the update to Java, etc after the virus was discovered. I have done the updates on four different systems with the same result.
No problems with the Java update here, although I have Java disabled. Might try reapplying the Java standalone while in Safe Boot (Shift at startup chime), if you did it from Software Update.

Boot into the Recovery volume (boot with the Command + R keys held down) and reinstall the system. -
Issue with iTunes view for podcasts with the latest iOS update (for my Macbook Air, Sept 21, 2013)
I just got the latest update for iOS for my Macbook Air - and now all of my previously deleted podcast episodes are showing up as available for download from the cloud - which is clogging up my iTunes display. How can I get these previously downloaded, listened to, and deleted episodes off of my podcast view/list?

MS Word is not an Apple product so it could not've downloaded with all the Apple software updates.

What program were you running to do that?
In any case boot from your OS installer disk and run Repair Disk from Disk Uility.
