Trying to install a grapgics card on a p7-1267c

Hello
I'm trying to install a nivida geforce gtx 650 to my p7-1267c, i have upgraded the power supply and tried to update the bios, but the system still shows the old bios. I cannot get beyond the hp start up screen with the card installed. without the card in the computer boots up just fine. Any advise or trouble shooting that i can do? do i need a new motherboard?

According to specs, the GTX650 series cards require a minimum of a 400W PSU, and a PCIE 6pin power plug.
What PSU did you install? Is your BIOS UEFI? Is the card UEFI compliant?

Error Message access denied when trying to install on SD Card

I got this errormessage whan I'm trying to install the image about CMD (run as Admin):

Does anybody know a solution?

Are you able to see the SD card in file explorer? When you performed the diskpart command sequence:
diskpart
list disk
exit
Did your SD card show up as physicaldrive1?
Is the SD card either 8 or 16 GB in size and Class 10?
Also, are you running this command on a Windows 10 install?
You might check that explorer or cmd don't have a reference to the SD card still. If a program is accessing the card that might prevent DISM from accessing it in exclusive mode.

MS-6714 trying to install new video card

Well, I have done everything I can think of short of sledgehammering my computer into oblivion. Just bought this comp it is a 2.8 celeron using the 6714. Thought I could just stick a new video card in. It recogzines the video card, but will not use it. Even when I disable the on board through the device manager. It just uses generic vga drivers. Any clue how I can get this card to be used?

I tried to install AT-GPIB card to PC Window 98.

I just installed 488.2 for Dos/Win that included in the package AT-GPIB, but it causes my PC freeze. I tried to removed what I installed before by deleting directly AT-GPIB folder from C drive. Then I followed the procedure descriebed on NI web page (GPIB Installation Wizard):
- I downloaded atwin271.zip and I installed it
- I replaced the gpib-16.dll and gpib-32.dll files with those from the Compatibility Release. The error message display "File Copy operation failed-incorrect number of bytes written to disk - source file on destination disk may be corrupted - use chkDsk. Source:\GBIB-16.dll' Dest C:\Windows\System\GPIB.16.dll" while I tried to installed atwin271.zip. My questions are please tell me how to remov
e everything of GPIB that I installed before (it not displayed on "add & remove softwar") and how to correct the error.
When I tried to add new hardware (Control Panel) I got the error message:
"Setup cannot load the installer (GPIBI16.DLL) for the GPIB hardware being installed. Contact your hardware vendor for assistance." Another question is My test system run a program in C language on PC 386 with Dos environment. Now I tried to move the program and AT-GPIB to new PC with Window 98 operation system. Please tell me what is the best way to perform this task. Do I still use the program execute file of C language to new PC or I should run and combine a new execute file with the new PC system? Thanks

Msi-6714 motherboard trying to install new graphics card

can anyone help me
i have tried installing an ati radeon 9600 graphics card on my msi motherboard and it wont take it
it will find it in bios but as soon as it boots in to windows it throws it out
the motherboard currently has onboard graphics which i have tried disableing but still cannot get the card to work

Normally, on-board VGA should get disabled when inserting a Graphiccard in AGP slot.
If not, this is done in bios.
According to your info, Looks like the Powersupply could be the issue.
Even if you don´t have the latest highperformance components, you still need at least some 400w with 18amp on the 12v line and 28amp on the 3,3v / 30amp on the 5v.
If it still not working you could remove PC powercable and clear CMOS jumper on MoBo ( read manual )
Please make full system spec incl. Powersupply.
There are some differant models of MS6714 MoBo´s.
Read between PCI slots on MoBo.

Trying to install wireless usb card

I put in the driver disc and click on the right file then the box comes up and shows waiting for disc copy help and nothing else happens. what am I doing wrong? is it the wrong software?

I would recommend maximizing the RAM with a 512 MB module in the one user-accessible RAM slot.

If you have the original install and restore CDs that came with it, and they include Mac OS X 10.2, you could get by with a 10.3 upgrade CD. This would be a little bit cheaper than the full install CDs, but if you ever had to install the system again, you would have to install Mac OS X 10.2 first, whereas with the Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) full retail install set, you wouldn't have to take that extra step of installing Mac OS X 10.2 before upgrading again to 10.3.

I am trying to install a smart card reader for work. There are no prompts when connecting via USB or anything else.

There shouldn't be a prompt when you connect an empty card reader. Insert a memory card into it and it should appear on the Desktop.

I am working on a cpci chassis with Sun CP1400 processor card running Solaris 2.6. I am trying to install a voip card from AudioCodes. After installing the driver, and the card, the software doesn't seem to recognize the board.
I ran "show-devs" from the ok prompt. It doesn't list the card. Also, there is no entry for the driver in /etc/driver_aliases. I am not sure if the board is faulty, or the driver is not properly installed.
The driver.conf indicates its a pseudo driver (I dont know if this makes any difference). When I run pci_scan that came with the driver it listed a device on the bus with vendor id = 0x10b5. I think this is the plx chip on the card. But I don't see any AudioCodes vendor, and device ids in the list.

Problem with installing new line card 7600-SSC-400

Hi all,
I have a trouble when trying to install new line card 7600-SSC-400 on Cisco 6509. Here was the message displays on the screen after I finished installing the line card : "%C6KPWR-SP-4-UNSUPPORTED: unsupported module in slot 7, power not allowed: The image for the card is not bundled in image." I tried to install this line card on another slot, but it doesn't work. The attched item is logfile which I saved in the installing session. I don't know what I hvae to do now, please help me to resolve this problem !

Hi Hieu,
You might want to run the following to see more detail of the error:
show diagnostic result module all detail
And I would also suggest that you reseat the 7600-SSC-400 line card firmly back to the switch, and check the status again.
If it's still showing the error, maybe you can try seating the module on a different slot, and check if you have the same issue.
If the issue still persist after reseating and testing it on different slot, then it might be a hardware issue, and you might want to open a TAC case to further investigate it.

Tecra 9100: Trying to install updadet driver for Yamaha AC XG soundcard

I have got a Tecra 9100 and as many other people I've got problems after installing SP2.
I tried to install the sound card by using the driver downloaded from the toshiba support page:

but I get a windows pop up saying that the file yacxg.sys is missing.
After that the installation is ended and the sound card is not installed.

Sorry but I think you have lost the objectivity. I have Tecra 9100 for years now and, for me, it is one of the best business notebook models. I tell you why. I do not know exactly how long but I am sure for about 4 years now I use this notebook preinstalled with WXP SP2 and W2000. I have installed both operating systems successfully and I really do not understand what your problem is. Nice notebook with very good performance. With right OS configuration it runs perfectly.
I have one friend and he is like you. If something does not work how he thinks it should be it is the end of the world. Knowing him I can say that problem is not customer support but customers stubbornness.
By the way: have you checked Microsoft Windows XP SP2 Update information?

Trying to install Arch on a SD card.

I have an EEE PC 900 and was trying to install arch on a 32gb sd card.
Every kernel I have tried so far boots then during bootup says it cannot find the root drive.
I tried changing the root delay but that didn't work. So far I tried the defalt kernel and toofisnes's kernel and both came up with the same error.
Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

Good. Glad to hear that your motherboard supports usb boot. However, you did not understand my question.
Think back to when you installed Arch And it asks if you want to boot from an encrypted/RAID/LVM/USB/etc root partition? That USB option is pretty important. (Post-install it is one of the mkinitcpio hooks.) Without it, your kernel will not have the drivers to read your root partition.
Reinstall from the Arch iso. When you get to the kernel step, it will ask "Do you want to boot from USB?" Select "yes".

I have trashed the CUDA program and reinstalled Premiere and AE but no joy. Same message followed by another error box with options to Retry, Send to Apple or ignore. I have tried all 3 options but nothing works! Every time I launch either program same message appears.
