Trying to link EIPO foreign trade data to VBAK,LIPS,LIKP,KNA1,TVROT
Hi
I am trying to link table EIKO - Foreign Trade data on delivery item data to my existing Quickview which has the following tables,
VBAK - Sales Doc header
LIPS - Delivery item
LIKP - Delivery header
TVROT - Route
KNA1 - general data in customer master
But when added SAP says 'no relationship Found'
Do i need to add another table as a common link ?- if so which one?
Many thanks for your help and advise
Tony
Hi
I'm not sure what you want to do. But the link is in EIKP-REFNR. With this field you can link to PO, deliv, invoice and so on.
I hope this helps you

Foreign Trade data is incomplete error while creating accounting document:
Dear laxmipathy&other SD Guru s,
As per your suggestion (you have given an answer for the same question) I have tried to fill up the following fields:
-Business transaction type for foreign trade
-Export/import procedure for foreign trade
-Commodity code /Import code Number for foreign trade
But the system is not accepting it is showing error message again saying that foreign trade data is incomplete.
Kindly help.
SushilHi,
You need to maintain this data in customization. Menu path:
Materials Management->Purchasing->Foreign Trade & Customs->Transportation Data->Define Modes of Transport.
This data needs to be maintained aagainst country "IN' if the plant is located in India.
If useful, pl close the posting.

We would like to generate export documents (FUCI, FUSD, FUCO) for orders that have a domestic ship to address. The process works fine for export shipments, however there is no foreign trade data copied into the delivery or billing documents if the ship to party is domestic. Is there a setting in copy control or user exit that will allow these fields to be populated?
Thank you, Julie
Edited by: Julie Simonds on Feb 7, 2008 4:36 PMHi Julie,
I just checked, the user exits could be used for modyfing the EIPO data. But you will have to be careful with this because the EIPO data reference key needs to be picked from the LIKP table. So you need to ensure that the user exit is used in calling the whole sub module of Foreign trade and not just the updation of EIPO table.
Because the issue is that if its a domestic shipping the foreign trade data would not be generated at all. So you would have to ask the ABAP team to call include or Functional module which generates the foreign trade data. This include will change the LIKP and EIPO table as done in the export/import shipment cases.
Let me know if you need more assistance.

Billing: Foreign trade data missing error
Hello friends,
I have a peculiar problem while trying to release billing doc to accounting. Delivering country is BE and Desination country is DE. I have setup config under Foreign data transportation to pull up default values by maintaining Tcode VI95.
However when I do VF01 the system doesn't seem to pull that data. Futhermore if I were to save the billing doc with foreign trade data as incomplete and then do VF02 to enter the data making sure the doc is complete, the system still won't let me post the data saying that foreign trade is still missing when infact it has been entered manually and the doc says its complete.
Any ideas??Hi Robert,
did you know the OSS-Note 354222? Perhaps it usefull for you to have a look on it. If you one time go into the foreign trade data in the invoice, and they are incomplete you can't transfer this invoice to accounting.

Incompletion log in delivery for foreign trade data
Hi all,
I am doing export delivery and i want to put foreign trade date as in incompletion log.
This log i want to do only for export document types (zex) which i have created separately.
Delivery header > foreign trade / custom >geography >
1. Export customs office
2. Office of destination
Delivery Item > Foreign trade/Custom > Origin / Destination >
3. Country of origin
4. Dispatch country
I want to make those 4 field as mandatory while doing export order. But these fields are in the EIPO table which is not there in the delivery incompletion log.
Can anyone please help me how to solve this issue.
Thanks in advance,
BabsHi Babs,
the foreign trade data can't be included into the incompletion log.
You have to create both incompletion log in T.code VI29.
Then you have to assign this logs to your country in VI49.
In standart SAP it's not possible to make this only for one document typ, this checks will be done for all foreign trade data.

Foreign trade data cannot be maintained in Billing Cancellation (S1)
I am trying to release to accounting a S1 document, but I am getting a foreign trade data error.
I went to maintain the header foreign trader data of the billing cancellation document (S1), but this section is grayed out
and the system wont allow change.
Is there any way I can maintain or fix this data, so I do not accumulate junk?
Any opinions appreciated
regards
HanarinCathy,
Thanks for the reply.
To add a bit more information, F1 document is released to accounting.
Foreign trade data was not maintained, and was able to be released to Accounting (along with CO-PA)
with no issue. It is just when this document was cancelled via S1 that the system started complaining about Foreign Trade Data.
Thank you

Read the following SAP note. This can also be the case.
Note 354222 - Foreign trade data incomplete for domestic business
Summary
Symptom
A billing document cannot be transferred into accounting because the foreign trade data is incomplete.
However, the underlying business process is a domestic business!
Additional key words
VF01, VF02, EIPO, EIKP, foreign trade, incompleteness, domestic, delivery, billing document, EXNUM, EXPKZ,export indicator, export number
Cause and prerequisites
In the respective delivery or in the billing document, for domestic business you by mistake go to the foreign trade data into a field. Since the incompletion log requires at least one entry for foreign trade, you must fill one field in order to be able to leave the foreign trade data again without canceling document processing.
Here, an export indicator and an export number is assigned which cause the incompleteness of the whole document due to missing export data.
Solution
A solution in the standard system is currently not planned since because of various customer requests the foreign trade data in the delivery should be accessed and maintained for domestic business too. An example is the inbound delivery in a bonded warehouse where the forwarding agent should get information already in advance.
To avoid incorrect billing documents, proceed as follows:
Copy data transport routine 001 to a routine 601 and enhance the new routine according to the attached correction instruction (RV60C601). Store this new data transport routine in Customizing for the copying control for billing documents for the processes you use, for example
- F2 - LF, item category TAN. (delivery-related)
If you already use an own data transport routine, in this data transport routine include the attached source code.
You must cancel existing billing documents and then create them again.
If you do not want to cancel existing documents, implement the attached correction (program RV60AFZZ) and release the documents either individually (VF02, default transaction) or via the list of blocked billing documents (VFX3).
After you completed the correction, you should cancel this solution (RV60AFZZ) again.
Also refer to the attached Note 170183.

Accounting documents not created - foreign trade data incomplete
Hi All
While saving the billing document at VF01, the following message appears
"Document 90000005 has been saved (foreign trade data incomplete)"
I tried entering some datas at
VF02>>Goto>>Header>Foreign trade/customs but was not sure what is mandatory there. Please let me know how to disable this. I do not want to maintain any foreign trade data. Can I do something on Material Master settings?
RegardsYou require to do thenecessay configuration for Foreign Trade Data:
IMG --> Sales and Distribution --> Foreign Trade/Customs --> Basic Data for Foreign Trade --> (Do the necessary configuration here)
In most probability, it will not default, but it is required to be maintained in Invoice (based on configuration)

Hi experts,
There is a need of reporting on foreign trade data in SD.
In R/3
According to my knowledge foreign trade data present in table EIKP and EIPO. when I see in document level of SD delivery and billing, I find that the corresponding foreign data comes from Material Master records.
Now I don't find EIKP and EIPO tables fields(like commodity code, office of exit, mode of transport) for Material Master data in BW as well as in R/3. Even I don't find that Material master data is based on these tables?
How can I extract the foreign trade data from ECC to BW?
Can anyone help me?
RakeshYou have a couple of possibilities here. If you want your SD DataSources for billings and deliveries to have this data, you can append the fields needed to the extract structure and create a User Exit for those respective DataSources through CMOD to lookup on the EIKP and EIPO tables. The other choice would be to create generic DataSources for each table, or if possible create a view of these two tables and create one generic DataSource from that view.

Hi Friends
I am having a typical issue in accounting doc header the foreign trade (FTD)is missing.
In typicl upgrade scenario 4.6c FDT is available in Vf02 Header Level.I have checked material master data which is not the source of Foreign Trade data.
I have compared nodes of FDT in both 4.6C & 6.0ECC. they are same.No transport is mising.
Even VI29 & VI39 are also correct.
Do you have any idea of any change with FDT in Upgrade Scenario ?
Please help
SaurabhHello,
please check the tables EIKP and EIPO.
You can find the EXNUM in table VBRK. For the EXNUM you should have an entry in EIKP and EIPO.
If these entries are missing the billing document is incomplete.
To correct the document, please try to go in VF02 and enter this invoice and then go to Header
Foreign trade data and simply come out of the screen by pressing green
arrow (no changes to be made) and then save the Invoice.
Then it should be possible to trasfer the document to FI.
Hope this information help.

Foreign trade data in Billing with Billing plan
Dear Gurus
Foreign trade data comes in Billing incompletion log if the Billing is created with reference to Delivery. Then I get in Intrastate Report ve01.
I have a scenario wherein I am Billing Stagewise. Hence it is Order related Billing plan and Delivery does not come into Picture.
So I dont get the Foreign Trade incompetion log too and it does not appear in Intrastate report.
How can I show this type of sale in Intrastate reporting.
Regards,
Neeraj SrivastavaHi Mr.Lakshmipathi,
Thank you very much for your solution.
When I entered only Foreign trade Header Data, then Accounting document generated. After generation of Accounting document when I tried to enter Foreign trade Item level all the fields are in disabled mode. Is it possible to make it enabled mode by this user can enter required data.
How , I will come to know cross check required notes before starting any scenario.

Invoice split due to mismatch in Foreign trade data
Hi all,
While creating a Commercial invoice for Exports with ref to Around 20 Deliveries , the Invoice is getting Split into Two parts, First one consisting of details from 19 deliveries and second consisting of 1 delivery.
On analysing the Split Analysis , i found that foreign trade data of the two cases differ.
I checked up in the Master Data (Foreign trade data) as well as Copy control(delivery to billing) which i found to be correct.
Can anyone please let me know if there is any other reason that this foreign trade data is coming different for this delivery while processing for invoicing.
Anticipating your replies in this regard,
UjjwalHi,
You can check with as Lakshmipathi suggested, also please check with the Commodity Code, country of origin for the delivery which is getting split, check with the log for foreign trade data at Header and Item level in the delivery.
One possible reason can be different master data.
Regards,
Harsh
