Hey,
if you know the name(s) of the root folder(s) you want to access (eg. by making a note on the Windows side) then you can make them appear by just doing Shift-Command-G in Finder ("Go to Folder…"), and entering the full path to the required folders. You can then navigate all the contents as normal.

Been trying to match one song for 6 hours now!
I have resorted to using dropbox right now for my music until Apple fixes this problem. The primary reason I got this service is to get new music in the morning and have it on the go all day. I don't understand why they didn't do one country at a time. It is now 6 hours and I still can't sync one song!
The matching process has been down pretty well all day for me too. Not a good situation, and something of a pain, but at least we can have a good guess at the reason, and this means that we can be fairly confident that it will start again soon, rather than being a specific issue with our libraries.
Until then, we have no real option but to wait. There certainly doesn't seem to be much point in playing about with it. -

I don't know why but recently most of the music on my iPhone 5 was deleted by iTunes! Luckily it did not delete the original files from my PC. At this point I would like to understand why this happened if anyone knows. Also when I look at the few remaining tracks on the phone all can be played but apparently the PHONE Library database on the PC is incorrect because it displays tracks that are now gone from the phone, . can anyone explain hoe I need to proceed to get things back in order, preferably without starting from scratch?

FredyJust to clarify the reply from turingtest2, the option he refers to will automatically downscale (reduce in size) the music when you sync to your iPod. This allows you to keep the music on your computer in the full unaltered CD quality, but automatically convert it to a lower quality smaller file sze for use on the iPod.
I use this feature myself on Windows and can then play music at home in full CD quality, and use the same music on my iPhone without over flowing the capacity of the iPhone. -

Thanks @pdroth. I did a quick Google search of DB indexing. I'm not sure I found exactly what you were referring to but I see where you're going with it. I can understand that indexing my database of stored photos can be time consuming. It's frustrating that the space can't be recognized as being free more quickly.
I notice that some items I delete seem to free up the space much more quickly. Removing an app entirely or deleting from my Music generally shows up as available space in Usage pretty quickly.
Deleting a photo or video from the Camera Roll will take MUCH longer, so I guess that has something to do with the indexing process you are referring to.
I'd like to point out that when I run out of space on an SD card on any budget point and click digital camera that I can quickly delete a picture or two and INSTANTLY be able to take a couple of new photos in their place. I guess I just have that same expectation for the $500+ engineering marvel I have in my hand right now.

So it has been a couple months now since I last cleaned up my bookmarks toolbar. And I could remember a couple of bookmarks tabs I wish I did not delete. I found some articles saying I could try restoring previous versions of my bookmarks from the dates of recent system restore points. But the earliest date I found was of only last week's. I've checked everywhere in my Firefox profile for anything that I could restore to date back into that time, but they too only tracked back as early as last week. I believe the automatic backups Firefox had made during that time has now long been deleted from the system in order to make room for my most current ones. How am I going to be able to retrieve those bookmarks when their aren't any backups available now to restore from?
If you do not have backups of your bookmarks, either in the bookmarkbackups folder or saved elsewhere, then you can't restore your bookmarks.

User has been deleted from UPS, however its getting display in People Search in search site - why ?

I have deleted user into UPS, however its still being display in people search.
I believe search crawl will delete the information from people search - However I am not sure whether its correct approach to run delete information from people search.
If user is not available in UPS then why user's information is being display in site ? and by when it may delete automatically?

Kindly consider following points where I am confusing.
Incremental Crawl is scheduled every 30 minutes - I have rechecked after 15 hours of deleting the user and still this user is available in People search.Few days back I ran the incremental crawl manually in order to delete the users from
people search that has worked - that means - incremental scheduler is not working as per the expectation ???
Full Crawl is scheduled on weekly basis - so user information will be deleted automatically when full increment will run next time ?
Also, there is My site clean up job that keeps user data for 14 days even though user has been deleted from UPS.that means user information will be deleted only after 14 days of deleting user from UPS ?
It will be much appreciated if this will be clear from my head !!!
Note: UPS doesn't sync disabled account since it has been specified in connection filter.

I sent a document on my Z10 to someone. Since then the message continues to be transmitted on my WEBMAIL box although it has long been deleted from my Z10. If I remove the battery the problems becomes resolved. how can I fix this problem while continuing to use my phone.Much obliged Alec Pierre
jgapierreif you don't have a backup then most likely those emails are gone for good.
just in case check the actual mailbox folders in finder.
go to the folder /users/username/library/mail. inside it there are folders for your email accounts. drill into the folder for the account in question to the folder Messages. there should be a bunch of .emlx files. they are the actual files for all the emails in that mailbox. how many are there? you can quicklook them and see what's inside. any old emails among them. if yes, post back and we can try to recover them.
if only emails for the last 24 hours are present then you are out of luck.
in the future I strongly recommend you start backing up. -

So I was organising my photos and videos on my iPhone 4s and wanted to delete them from my camera roll once I had moved them to new folders. When I tried to delete them from my camera roll it asked if I wanted to 'delete from everywhere'. Not knowing what this button did I pressed it and have now lost all the copies of those photos and videos I had taken!!!
Is there any way of retrieving them off of my iPhone? Is there like a recycle bin type folder where all the deleted data has gone to from where I can recover it?

Exchange Provisioning - Error (User Has been deleted from AD)
Hello Experts,
User has been provisioned to AD successfully and I verified it manually by logging into AD server. But when I provision Exchange to User "Create Mailbox" task failed with the following error message "User Has been Deleted from AD".
I am wondering what causing this issue? Can u assist me?

the zone which is in your output is VSAN 1. if its a production VSAN, Cisco doesn't recomends to use VSAN 1 ( default vsan ) for production.
