TS1368 No search results displays in iTunes

I go to the iTunes app and type in a search for an artist or song for music, and nothing is ever displayed. The screen stays white and nothing appears.

Sorry, not sure what happened with the previous post.
That’s what I did to begin with. Since I knew that layout worked for me and took care of the issues with the corrupt (Theme1) layout for the other project, I imported that into the current project. There seems to be something wrong with the layout or the project itself, though, now. Whenever I compile the project I get multiple errors stating the Search result widget isn’t allowed in the Topic screen layout page. I even created a completely new project, imported all my topics from the previous project, and imported the layout again and still it keeps giving me the error that the Search result widget is not allowed in the Topic screen layout page.
I don’t think this has anything to do with iOS, since I’m seeing the issues when viewing the help file on both a laptop and PC; haven’t even viewed it on a device yet. At any rate, I just don’t understand why I’m getting all these errors, having all these issues with the Responsive HTML5 format. It’s been especially frustrating since I thought I had already resolved the layout issue.
Any other ideas??

Search Results Display Preference as "Advanced" not working in R12

Hi Everyone,
I'm unable to do an Advanced search in R12(12.1.3) whereas "Standard" search is working fine at 'Search Results Display Preference' in Oracle Applications Home Page.
Advanced search throws 'http 404' error in all upgraded instances.
Is there any patch need to be applied or setups as part of R12 upgrade. Kindly help.

i solved the problem by runing 2 scripts as a portal user

NOTE - The difference is the value of 'p_name' attribute. If u see carefully it is 'searchresultpagesiteid'. The first time u run this the value is 'searchresultpageid'.

Search results displays title from the document and not from its metadata

Hi All,
I have an issue with SharePoint 2010 Search results. While searching for any content in SharePoint, it displays the title value from the keyword in the document and not from the metedata.
Scenario:- I have a document library and a document named "Bill Details C1234.doc" in it. The title for this item in document library is "Bill Details". However on searching with keyword "Bill" it displays the
first word in the word document which is "I".It should display the title set in the document i.e. "Bill Details".
Please suggest

So, where it references Filename, you would put title, but leave where it references title alone. Or maybe I misunderstood and you are looking for exactly this, to make search display the filename and not the title, in which case I trust that you'll

From the code in your post, you need to delete the "" after the div.
I also recommend to add this div into the <div

Why do search results in the iTunes store and the preview music window fail to load properly?

Since I updated to the second update to iTunes 11, I've had problems with searching in the iTunes store and viewing the previewed music window. It had worked fine in the first iTunes 11 update from iTunes 10 but it has not worked properly since the second update. I've also tried resetting the iTunes store cache but to no avail.

Essentially run iTunes as Administrater once and it should solve the problem going forward.
Go to /Program Files/iTunes and right click iTunes.exe and select run as admin
No need to do it every time, just once and than desktop shortcut icon will open iTunes with solved Store search display problem.

How To Eliminate Separate Search Results Window in iTunes 11

From my perspective (based upon how I use iTunes to create playlistsby searching for titles, listening, and selecting), the new format in iTunes 11 of showing search results in a separate window was totally unworkable. Fortunately, I found a CNET article that said how to revert to the old method. To disable the new format, and have search results show up in the body of your music library, all you need to do is this:
Click on the magnifying glass in the Search box in the uppper right corner of the iTunes screen
The first item in there is "Search Entire Library", and has a check mark next to it
Click on it to remove the check mark
That's it! Now your Search results will show up in the library itself, as it always has.
Until I found this quick fix, I was ready to trash the new iTunes and replace it

I found this article with the explanation on how to find this again. In the upper right corner of itunes (only when an item is downloading) you will see a downward facing arrow inside a gray circle with a blue status bar type line below it. If you click that it will show you your downloads progress.

Why won't search results display one page at a time?

Search result pages using google automatically load so i can never get to options at the bottom of a page.
Driving me nuts! Just want to load 1 page at a time!!!

Some extensions have this feature, e.g., AutoPager. Can you check your extensions on the following tab for any that seem to imply that they make using Firefox faster or more automatic and try their Options button to see whether you can turn off this feature?

Changing search results display

When I search in my iTunes library, I hate the layout of the window that shows my results. It's confusing, and not as easy to find what I want in the results. I liked the old look better. Is there a way to change the way the results window looks.

Why does my search results display in Korean despite all my settings saying that my default should be American English? (Yes, I am in Korea, but don't understand Hangul.)

I am in Korea on Business and do not speak the language. I am an American and all of my settings on my computer and browser reflect this. However whenever I type in www.google.com I am automatically redirected to http://www.google.co.kr/. When I do a search from here it is in Hangul and I don't understand it. How can I get all pages to display in English? Is there an automatic translator that does this?

Thank you I am now more educated about Google, and the intricacies of being in other parts of the world. This solution proved perfect and I set my homepage to reflect the "/ncr" which works perfectly.

OHJ search results displayed with title tag ???

Hello,
I've conversed a large help MS help system on a C/S forms application into an OHJ help system on behalf of the webforms version of this application.
I've got the thing running allright, but one thing surprises me: the search function apparently returns the <TITLE> tags of the HTML help pages instead of the text descriptions <tocitem target="topic_18" text="Examenprogramma" /> as entered in the toc .xml file.
I wonder why this is so. It supplies me with a lot of extra work - having to edit all these HTML files manually to include the description in the title tags.

The reason is that the search runs over any HTML files in your index file. These HTML files need not be in your TOC at all. Therefore, we reuse the title from the HTML file instead of any information in your TOC.

Search results for podcasts not matching iTunes profiles

There are podcasts on iTunes that have different titles and artwork in search results than their iTunes profile pages. For example, the podcast listing for LightTalk podcast: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=333378833 displays the correct title and artwork, but when searching the iTunes Store for 'LightTalk', the artwork is missing and the title is incorrect (looks like the title is the author's name in the search results). This podcast was submitted to iTunes about 2 weeks ago. There are other podcasts having the same problem and suspect the problem is isolated to only new listings.
This is a problem on both Windows and Mac versions of iTunes.

I to have the very same problem! search results do not match the feed. Its been 1 Week now, i've added 2 more podcast since feed was submitted, the feed page works perfect, picture, artist, desciption, and updates within hours... perfect!
The problem is how often dose the search index get updated?

For your issue, you can go to Site Settings -> Site Collection Administration -> Search Settings -> set "Site Collection Search Dropdown Mode" to "Show scopes dropdown":
