I have a new mac, but every time I try to transfer purchases from my iphone to it, it says it is not authorized. But it IS!~ And it uses a very old default email. I then authorize it, it tells me it is authorized already. I tried unauthorizing and re-authorizing. I have looked up help and done what it says. I tried finding users/shared/sc info but that file is not on this Mac. My Mac is fully updated.
please help.

I should add that it's an HP photosmart 4280.I found it online and it shows the Mac 0SX operating system.

I just bought the latest Mac mini i5 but every time I try to transfer my files from time machine back-up of my mini mid 2011 model I always come up with some sort of problem?

I am so fed up with using time machine to restore my files from my previous mini. I have tried several different ways and every time there is some sort of problem. I just want to restore it back to the original setting and manually reinstall my personal software. My question is: Is it better to reinstall osx using the recovery drive or downloaded from the app store. Also if you have already reinstalled from the app store does that effect the recovery drive?

It does not make any difference it you reinstall from recovery partition or app store since in either case the OSX install files are downloaded from Apple servers.

I have deleted my old Apple ID to create a new one. I created the new ID but every time I try to update my Apps, it asks for the details of my Old Apple ID that doesn't work any more. How do I update my Apps now?

It is really frustratating me, as ALL my Apps are really out of date. Please help.

You will need to use that old Apple ID and password to update any apps you purchased using that account. So you will either need to recover that Apple ID, which if you forgot the password you should be able to reset here:

I just upgraded to 4.0, but every time I try to log on, I get an error message that says "Your computer must be restarted to complete a previous upgrade of Firefox." I restarted three times and I still get that same message.

Remove the Mail account. Go to Mail preferences>Accounts>and go the account and delete it. When it's done, go back and add it back.

Do you have gfxCardStatus installed? Is your monitor set to "Integrated" or "Discrete". You want it set to Discrete to drive the external HDMI display.

Are you sure you have a good miniDisplayPort to HDMI cable?
Do you have another HDMI display you can test against (your neighbor's HDMI capable TV).

If you are using those apps or websites, they are likely viewing the PDF using iOS' built in PDF previewing, which will not show annotations and markup to the PDF. We have informed Apple of this issue, but do not have any insight into whether or when they will fix it.
Regarding the qustion about importing pictures, Adobe Reader does not provide any capabilities to import pictures into a PDF. To do this, you'll need to use Acrobat, available on your desktop computer.
