Um key I recently send a text to app store saying I was unable to see any pictures from app store or iTunes. But somehow I am able to see them now. my problem is now when I try to download an app an error 1004 shows up. I was able to download a few apps but when done downloading I would press the app but goes back to home screen also just now I upgraded an app I already had & that app is doing it is well how would fix this problem or do I have to get it fixed

My 4th Gen iPod Touch doesn't work right anymore.
My iPod randomly decides not to connect to my Internet, it freezes up, apps get force closed, and when I am typing a bunch of letters I did not type wind up on the screen anyway. For instance, if I type the letter A I could wind up with atryxdy or something. I never had this problem until after iOS 7 was released. Is there a way to fix this or do I just have to put up with it since Apple has moved on?
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Already suggested
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Since you have a 4G which does not get iOS 7. iOS 7 has nothing to do with your problems -

Let your ipod die. Then when it is dead charge it adn turn it back on. After that it should be fine.

New ipod touch won't work with itunes 10.6.3, says it needs 11.1 or newer but I cannot load that onto my MacBook running on OSX 10.5.8 - is there anyway around this?
No. If your MacBook has an Intel processor you can update to OSX 10.6.8 and then install the latest iTunes.
A 5G iPod with iOS 7 requires that if you have a Mac you have OSX 10.6.8 or later.

I was having this problem. The settings on my wireless router was set to hide my IP address so it wouldn't connect. When I changed that, I connected no problem. While this is annoying since I don't want my IP address to be out there, I just switch my router when I need to connect to the App/iTunes Store. Hope this helps. It worked for me.

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
Finally, if the Restore doesn't work, let the battery drain completely. Then recharge for at least an hour and Restore again. -

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

My ipod touch used to sync on my old Hp laptop but now it's not even recognized as a device but will still charge on my new asus windows laptop. Do one thing, take a back up of NQS config file from <Oracle Location>\instance\instance1\config\obiserver folder\nqsconfig.ini file.
Copy nqs config file if you have already have a back up.
Restart the services and try once.

Got a replacement Ipod Touch 3rd Generation and backed up to store version on computer and now it will not work. Goes into restore mode but cant restore. Any suggestions

Thanks for responding. Since I upgraded ITUNES to IOS 6, my IPOD Touch no longer works at all. I had numerous apps, music and videos on this touch. It made me restore to factory reset and it still does not work!!! Nothing I do will work on this touch now. I have so much data on this, I don't want to loose or have to restore!
