TS1398 I seem to be experiencing some technical difficulty when trying to load up my Facebook home page and also other people's FB home pages. My iPad initially starts to load the page, but then abruptly closes Safari. Any ideas on why/how to fix?

My Safari abruptly closes when trying to load my Facebook home page or the home page of others. It seems like there is too much info trying to load so it just shuts down. Any ideas on how to fix?

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs.<br />

That happened to my brother earlier. He went into Facebooand then into another app and the same thing happened. he ended up having to restore it. Mine stayed with the Apple logo for a bit but its back to normal after pressing the buttons a million times. I hope you get your problem sorted. Goodluck!

Adobe is not going to swap 13 for 12. It is selling only 13 download as you found out. So, you are going to have to purchase 12 if you want to use that program. It may still be available at some retail locations, such as Amazon.

Im not aware that you can lock your screen in landscape so I'm assuming you have locked it in portrait and want to allow it to ne seen landscape, therefore double click the Home button, swipe the icons to the right, you will see an icon with a circle-arrow. That is your screen orientation lock.

How did you get a Lion OSX install disc? They don't exist. Do you mean the gray disks that came with your 2007 MacBook?
If you mean the gray disks, try starting up with the "c" key held down.
What version of OSX is on your MacBook now? Have you tried booting from the Recovery partition?

On Pages I can't change my font it always stays blue. It says it's black but it isn't. Any Ideas?

OK. Sometimes Word and Pages do not play nice together.
I assume that you tried a select all and then tried to change to color of the text and that didn't work. So close the document now - tap on the documents button in the upper left corner. Then Tap the Edit button in the upper right corner and and the documents will begin to wiggle. Tap on this particular problem file in the documents window and then tap on the + sign at the top to create a copy of the file. Tap on the copy to open it and try changing the color of the text in the copy.
If that still doesn't work, quit Pages and reboot the iPad and try again.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

My HP officejet 6210 no longer prints documents from my Mac ibook G4 running 10.4.11; starts to process the document, but then stops the print,if I restart print same thing happens

My ibookG4, running 10.4.11 suddenly decided it no longer wants to print documents thru my HP officejet 6210 all-in-one printer. So far I've tried emails, excel and word all with the same result. The computer will start to process the print request (processing seems to take longer than previously) and then suddenly the processing stops and a red exclamation mark appears next to the printer image at the bottom of screen. When I pull up the printer utility it tells me the printer is "stopped". If I restart it, the process begins all over again until once again it stops. I have already deleted the printer completely from my computer and reinstalled the software fom the HP site. For some reason had a really tough time finding the correct print drivers on the HP site, but did finally locate them. I have not even attempted scanning during this (I see lots of people reported issues with that for the 6210), I would be happy if I could at least print again. I am connecting via USB. Is there some way to fix this?

Pon opening firefox, some pages are small, others large. On IE, there is a setting where it remembers the page settings. Is there one on firefox I can't find?. in English

My computer had a virus so I reformatted. This was about a month ago. Now when I open Firefox, the page settings are not correct and I have to keep zooming in and out to be able to read web pages and it does not remember page settings like IE did. Is there a setting for this, to remember page size? I am on Windows XP and Firefox is my browser, version 3.6.4.

I've done this and when i click done, it says to fix errors; i repeat the process then it says to contact apple support. Any ideas or other experiences with this? I've had this happen before and it got resolved after i called them and it took a few days, not very convenient. The same thing happened when I was just trying to update my account info with a new billing / account address.

Safari 1.3.2 crashes everytime i try to open it. using os x 10.3.9, any idea on cause, how to fix?

Whenever i search using the google search bar, or simple go to a site by typing in the url, safari crashes. Can anyone give me advice on how to fix this? do i need to reinstall the OS, or maybe upgrade to 10.4 Tiger?

Installed LR4...now, importing takes hours, any ideas as to how to fix?

Everything worked fine for a while. Then installed Jeffrey Friedel's plug in to export, and still worked fine...then all systems slow down to lock up....importing taking hours, developing taking minutes to load one image - although not always - it seems to "hang" after trying to open a few images one after another. I optimized my catalog, emptied trash. Didn't help. Someone looked at it at thought my LR has a "memory leak"....I have no idea if that is correct (even what that is) or how to fix it if that is the case. He looked at CPU usage, I believe, and decided that. Please help, if possible, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My system is less than 2 years old, Windows 7- my processor is AMD Phenon(tm) II x 4 925 Processor. My hard drive back up has plenty of space - 4 terabytes. I purged ACR cache, changed maximum size from 1 gb to 10 in preferences, as suggested in other locations, still no improvement.
I must get some work done by tomorrow...is it possible to revert back to LR 3 and how specifically should I do that.
Am I the only one who is frustrated about purchasing a product, and then having to purchase the assistance (providing extra revenue) for the company that made the product to try to get it operational? Is there any quarantee it will work so I don't waste my nmoney? I appreciate the responses on this forum - many people try to give assistance, donating their time and effort...but I've searched, posted, and so far, no answers.

Colorsync Utility. Whenever I click on Devices or Filters, it hangs and I have to force quit. Any ideas as to how to fix this?

I'm having an issue with Colorsync Utility. When I open the utility I can access Profile First Aid, Profiles and the Calculator but whenever I click on Devices or Filters, it hangs and I have to force quit. I recently re-profiled my NEC monitor using xRite i1Profiler Pro and saved the ICC profile as "version 4". When I went to use the Nik's ColorEfex Pro 4 plug-in, in Adobe Photodhop CS5.1 (Creative Suite 5.5), I got a cyan cast across all my images. Nik said it had to do with a corrupt ICC profile but when I ran Profile First Aid, the only profile that came up as needing repair ( and couldn't) was EW-sRGB. I reprofiled the monitor only this time I saved it as "version 2", and the plug-in worked fine. What surprises me is that Colorsync Utilty always used to work without issue, and I never seemed to have a problem creatinga and saving ICC profiles using version 4. Any ideas as to what is causing this problem and how to fix this?

I updated my software, and deleted my history/cache. Also, when I try to use Preview, it says that it was forced to quit while restoring windows, so when I click restore windows nothing happens. I can't view anything either. The only thing I can think that may have caused these problems is I tried to shut down and had to force it to by holding the power button. I rarely shut it off.
