Why does my ipad keep saying poor connection on FaceTime since we went on ios6

I have the same problem with my ipad 2.. ever since i updated to ios 6 it says "connecting" and never connects..and then 5 mins later it says "connection lost" CALL BACK! its so frustrating as i have not had any issue before the update..
both me and the end caller have updated to ios 6, so im afraid the above response doesnt work for me! Some one please help, as its driving me nuts to not able to facetime!

Check to make sure you don't have your restrictions turned on, which may be preventing your access to iTunes.

You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

Why does my ipad keep saying incorrect username or password when i try to set up my mail.

I have both the iphone and now the ipad. My mail works fine on my iphone, The emails are my own for my own businesses but i have never had a problem with the settings (pop3). My wife has emails also for the same companies and they work fine on her iphone.
BUT when i try setting yup the same mail accounts on my ipad it keeps telling me the unsername or password are incorrect - i know they are not. I did wonder if it was down to the fact that i wanted to set it up on two devices (couldnt see why this would be an issue but thought it worth trying) so i set up a brand new email account and i am still getting the same response - it will let me send emails from the ipad BUT it will not receive them. I have deleted it and re-installed it but always the same message
Just upgraded to IOS6 but i still get the same issue
Help me please as this is driving me mad

Thanks for your answer. You were right. I rang Apple support (who were lovely btw) they talked me through resetting the ipad - which looked like it had worked as I didn't drop out for hours - and then I did :-( again and again and again.
So then I rang my internet provider and they talked me through changing the "channel selection" on my router (means nothing to me, but it does look as though it has worked).

I have Firefox for my Windows Vista (I believe the version is 20. I don't know precisely and don't know how to find it) and have had problems since last night. After I was up and running smoothly for about ten minutes, there was a message in the upper left hand corner of Firefox that said "not connecting" (or something along those lines). In the past, this would happen and I'd click "CTRL/ALT/DELETE" to close it out, reopen and everything would run fine. Now when I use those three keys, the computer eventually freezes. I contacted Geek Squad for assistance and the lady there claimed you all have had problems in the past couple weeks. Maybe I finally caught up with those problems (as this just happened last night and it's been happening all today)? Anyways, I'd like this resolved quickly. On my first call to Geek Squad, he advised me first to check for Windows updates and install them (there was one recommended to install and three optional ones. When I clicked to install the recommended one, it again froze with the "not connecting" message or whatever it says). Let me know how I can proceed on this issue. Thank you.

You may want to update your iPhone using iTunes on a computer if your device only shows "estimating time remaining" when you try to update wirelessly:
If you can’t update wirelessly, or if you want to update with iTunes, follow these steps:
If you use your device's Personal Hotspot for your computer's Internet connection, update your device wirelessly or connect your computer to another network.
Install the latest version of iTunes on your computer.
Plug in your device to your computer.
In iTunes, select your device.
In the Summary pane, click Check for Update.
Click Download and Update.
If you see an error message while updating your device, you can learn how to resolve iOS update errors in iTunes.

Try the basic troubleshooting tips and see if any of these help with the freezing issue.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Quit the apps. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If you are watching the YouTube videos on Safari - this may help as well. Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data (orCache in iOS 4.3.5). Restart the iPad.
