TS1424 I can't open the iTune store after I updated my iphone to iOS 7.

Hi there, could someone help me here please - I can't open the iTune store after I updated my iphone 4 to iOS 7. The problem occurred about 5 days later after the upgrade. There are no error messages. As I tap on the icon it opens just for a fraction of a moment and then goes off and back to the main screen. Other apps are working just fine. I tried following the troubleshooting steps as suggested by apple support, but that didn't help unfortunately...

    You might have two different things going on at once here.
    Starting with the registry settings message.
    I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)

    When I try to open the iTunes store on my iPhone i get the error "cannot connect to iTunes store". When I try to download or update apps I get the loading bar on the app icon, but it never downloads. I contacted apple support and was told to check here. I have already restarted the phone several times. I have disabled and enabled wifi. I verified that the issue is not the wireless network, because I have this issue on 3 different networks as well as 3G. I also have no problems using safari, I am writing this post from my phone. I would love some suggestions to fix this.

    Is iTunes endlessly saying "Accessing iTunes Store"? Or is something a bit different going on?

    After updating to os7 my iphone 5 will not connect to the iTunes Store. I went in to settings, signed out, and then signed back in and retried and the iTunes Store still will not open. Works fine on Apple TV and my ipad, just not my phone.Other suggestions would be appreciated.

  • I can't access the itunes Store since I updated to 10.5.2.11

    Since I updated my itunes the other day to version 10.5.2.11, I can't access the store.  When I try it just stays on a white screen and never loads anything.  There is no error message that comes up.  It just wont load.  I have tried the firewall and hae run the diagnostics.  The diagnostics have passed and the Firewall is letting it through.  I am on my pc with Windows 7.

    I have the same problem on XP sp3.  This is since the appearance of TuneUp. Again a so-called "useful" application.
    Apple Programmers, please K.I.S.S.  Keep It Simple and Stupid.  I do not want to be suggest to do something, I don't want to be warned of this of that, Geniused or pinged...  In the past, Itunes loaded on my pc in less than 10 seconds and it worked.  Now, It blocks my computer and I can not buy music anymore !!!!! Apple programmers, you are working against your business !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want a LITE version  !!!!

    This happened to me after the last iTunes upgrade.  The solution for my problem was to completely uninstall and reinstall my security software PC Tools Spyware Doctor with Antivirus) Just disabling it did not work.
    There are however a lot of different fixes on other old threads.

    If you forget the Restrictions passcode you have to restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod.  The iPOd willbe empty like it was when new.

    Same here. I was online w/ apple tech support yesterday all the way up to level 3 support. Their solution was to restore and then reload from backup. Don't waste your time w/ that as it didn't solve the problem.

    I think that you will find your answer amongst the other "problem reports" for Safari 5.1 and iTunes 10.4. If you can use your Time Machine to revert to the day before you installed iTunes 10.4 (and Safari 5.1 - if you updated Safari too) you should wait for answers to other's complaints. There is a little known maxim at Mac; don't update an app or the operating system until you find no further problems reported at MacFixit, finetunedmac and Apple's own Support forums.

    I'm glad I'm not the only one. I trashed i tunes all together and reloaded everything. When I tried to access my shopping cart again it said I had to upgrade my itunes. So I did and now I can't access the shopping cart at all again. I think apple needs to fix it's upgrade! That is obviously the problem. I had a shopping cart full too but I had to scrap it and switch to the "buy now" option. Maybe someone will have a solution for us????

    If you can't open the App Store, I suggest completely turning off your iOS device (holding the Sleep/Wake button) and turning it back on again. If that doesn't work, back up all your apps, music, movies, photos and any other data to iTunes and attempt a restore of your iOS device. This returns your device into factory state, so everything is erased. But if you back up everything first, it shouldn't be a problem.

    You may think you are connected to the internet, but maybe not. Click on Safari and see if it connects.

    Additional things to try.
    Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
    Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

    Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

    Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
