TS1559 I have lost the disc to set up bluetooth

Where can I get the setting for setting up my bluetooth on my iphone. My grandson has walked off with my disc that came with my phone. Any advice please. Thank you in adavnce

The iPhone can only connect to a computer for tethering (using the iPhone as an Internet connection). The iPhone does not support any other use of BlueTooth with a computer (i.e., it cannot be used for file transfer). You CAN connect an iPhone to a computer if they are both on the same WiFi network.

    Hi Niel
it has been also suggested that we take the imac into an apple store and they will re-install it for us ?
That is possible but I would call first and ask them if they can do that.
If not contact Apple (as Niel suggested) and for a nominal charge they will send you the correct DVD's for your system.

  • Need to reinstall OS X but have lost the restore discs--please help!!

Hi. I just upgraded to a new macbook. My previous computer is a G4 iBook which I want to wipe clean and re-install the OS so I can sell it. The trouble is, in the 3 or 4 times I have moved apartments since getting the iBook I have lost the discs that came with it.
From what I've read I can't use the discs that came with my macbook as those are for an Intel system. Can anyone help? I have an external USB 2.0 hard drive, but don't know much about partitions and boot volumes, etc.
    Thanks!

Depending on which iBook you have, your only option may be the iBook G4 restore discs.
Some iBook G4s shipped with OS 10.4+ so they won't boot from a retail version of OS 10.4.
You can contact Apple and get replacement discs... for a fee.

Hello there! Welcome to the forums @ronnie123456
I understand you no longer have the installation disk for your Photosmart C4580, and that is okay!
Here is the link where you can download the printer driver and software:
HP Photosmart C4580 All-in-One Printer Drivers
Also, if you cannot print your email after installing the printer, try printing from another web browser and that might help!
If you need any further assistance, include your operating system, the web browser(s) you have tried and any other details that I might need to investigate the problem further for you!

  • Hi , I own a hp pavilion dv6 6050se laptop bought in UAE during 2011, I have lost the recovery discs

Hi , I own a hp pavilion dv6 6050se laptop bought in UAE during 2011, I have lost the recovery discs.
How do i get a copy of recovery discs??

    Hi,
I don't see any link on your Product Page to order a replacement set of Recovery Discs, but it's always worth calling HP directly and see if you can order them this way.
If you live in the US, contact HP Here.
If you are in another part of the world, start Here.
If you are unable to order these discs from HP, here's an alternative option you could try.
Before trying the following, make sure you can still read the 25 Character Product Activation key on your Windows COA label ( 5 blocks of 5 alpha/numeric sets ).
An example of a COA Label can be seen Here.
You can create an installation disc yourself using another PC - just download the correct Disc Image ( this must be the same version that originally came with your notebook ) from the link below and use an application such as ImgBurn to burn the ISO correctly to a blank DVD - a guide on using ImgBurn to write an ISO to a disc is Here.  These Images are clean and from a well-respected source, however there are only limited versions available.
    Windows-7 sp1-iso-official-32-bit-and-64-bit
Use the disc to perform the installation, enter the Windows activation key found on the COA Label when requested and when the installation has completed, use the 'Phone Method' detailed in the link below to activate the OS - this method supported by Microsoft and is popular with people who just want a clean installation of Windows 7 without the additional software load normally bundled with OEM installations.

Any additional drivers and software you may need can be found Here.

    By all means get iLife but just for the record you don't HAVE to use Apple's photo application;
there are many more around, quite a lot of them free.

  • Lost the Disc, but have the serial

So, I lost the disc for my PS Elements 11, but I have the serial code. Is there any way I could install it on my new laptop with the serial I already have? Or would I have to buy it again?

    Hi SeaMe123,
PSE 11 is the latest version and you can download it from : http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_elements&loc=us
Use the serial number you have to activate it and it should be fine.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).<br />
If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear.<br />
You can click the Maximize button at the top right to leave full screen mode or right click empty space on a toolbar and use "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press F11.

  • I need to reinstall the system software on my older iMac. I have lost the system disks, though... so now what? It had 10.4.

I need to reinstall the system software on my older iMac. I have lost the system disks, though... so now what? It had 10.4. We moved, and I have looked everywhere. Am I doomed to find a way to buy it? Can taking it into the Apple Store fix it? Will it be expensive THERE? I've already saved all of the files I want off of it.... I just need it to work now.

You've lost me on why you need to reinstall Tiger, when you already have all the files you wanted (which means Tiger worked perfectly fine). If you want to upgrade to Leopard, that's a different issue: your Mac needs to meet the minimum system requirements for that, which you can easily determine.
If you just want to get a replacement set of Tiger install discs, you can try calling AppleCare and see if they're able to send you a replacement set, and if not, you'll have to buy a new set yourself. You can get them on eBay, Craigslist, and HardCore Mac (http://store.yahoo.com/hardcoremac/), although they sell it for ridiculous prices.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Command+Shift+F).

Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible.
    *Firefox menu button > Options
*View > Toolbars (press F10 to display the hidden Menu bar)
    *Right-click empty toolbar area
Use Toolbar Layout (Customize) to open the Customize window and set which toolbar items to display.
*check that "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
*if "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the toolbar palette into the Customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
*if missing items are in the toolbar palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar
*if you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar setup
