TS1567 Tried installing itunes and got the message "Service 'Apple Mobile Device' failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services".

I did as Apple suggested and went into my services page and stopped the Apple Mobile Device service. Once it stopped I started it again. I then went through the downloading of iTunes process again, and I got the same error. I have McAfee and Webroot Security, and I am operating on Windows 7. What should I do?

So many people are having this problem! Doehunter's instructions here worked for me!  Hope this helps. https://discussions.apple.com/message/23824640#23824640
