    My touch screen on my ipod Nano, Gen 6 has gone completely white. It had started going white the day before. I tried resetting it but to no avail. Does anyone know how I could fix this. Also I have 2 other ipods that I am no longer able to sync. It comes up with a message (best I can remember) something to the effect that my itunes version is not compatible with my ipod. Please help. I'm tired of buying new ipods when the new hasn't even worn off of them!!!

    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable
    - Try on another computer                            
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

    I cant understand why people are saying they are offline when I am sure they are on line. I am abroad and used it once but when I purchased the internet skype will not work correctly but I can still get on the internet so I know thats working. Any ideas?

    Reset  ( No Data will be Lost )
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

    If you are using Photoshop from within iPhoto the following may help with the workflow.  However, we do need to know the answers to the questions posed by Terence and Larry to be able to help you.
    Using Photoshop or Photoshop Elements as Your Editor of Choice in iPhoto.
    1 - select Photoshop or Photoshop Elememts as your editor of choice in iPhoto's General Preference Section's under the "Edit photo:" menu.
    2 - double click on the thumbnail in iPhoto to open it in Photoshop.  When you're finished editing click on the Save button. If you immediately get the JPEG Options window make your selection (Baseline standard seems to be the most compatible jpeg format) and click on the OK button. Your done.
    3 - however, if you get the navigation window
    that indicates that  PS wants to save it as a PS formatted file.  You'll need to either select JPEG from the menu and save (top image) or click on the desktop in the Navigation window (bottom image) and save it to the desktop for importing as a new photo.
    This method will let iPhoto know that the photo has been editied and will update the thumbnail file to reflect the edit..
    With Photoshop Elements  the Saving File preferences should be configured as shown:
    I also suggest the Maximize PSD File Compatabilty be set to Always.  In PSE’s General preference pane set the Color Picker to Apple as shown:

    Note 1:  to switch between iPhoto and PS or PSE as the editor of choice Control (right)-click on the thumbnail and select either Edit in iPhoto or Edit in External Editor from the contextual menu. If you use iPhoto to edit more than PSE re-select iPhoto in the iPhoto General preference pane. Then iPhoto will be the default editor and you can use the contextual menu to select PSE for your editor when desired.
    Note 2:  editing a RAW file with either PSE or PS creates a new file which must be saved outside of iPhoto, i.e. the Desktop, and imported as a new photo into the iPhoto Library.

  • IMessage is saying messages are delivering but they are not! How do I sort this?

    If my girlfiriend sends me a test message from her iphone, the imessage window says it's delivered, but I don't get the message.
    She currently has two conversations in her messages, with me, one has my phone number highlighted as the contact, the other has my e-mail address highlighted as the contact. The conversation with my e-mail as a contact works properly, the one with my phone number as a contact says the message is delivering, but the message does not arrive.
    I can send a messge to her phone number or e-mail address and they will deliver.
    Any idea how to fix this?

    It sounds like your phone did not register correctly with the iMessage service.
    On your phone, go to Settings > Messages and turn iMessage OFF. Wait about a minute and then turn it back ON.
    Underneath iMessage ON, verify that you see the message "iMessages can be sent between iPhone, iPad, and iPad touch."
    Then have your girlfriend send another message to your phone number to test it.

A pop up said my iphone was not authorised to play on this computer. Everything else is there just not my audio books from Audible. I'm half way through a book, what do I do?

    The iphone is not a backup device.
    You need to copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer to your new one.

    I have eactly the same problem - it seems that the downloaded version on MBA is version 6.0 and on iPad is is version 2.0 -
    Issue is when i tried to save the presentation on MBA Keynote 09 - Keynote crashed.
    I tried to save is as Powerpoint in MBA and it crashed as well!

    - To change ID go to Settings>Store and sign out and sign in with the one you want. If you iPod has iOS 5 you may have to also go to Settings>iCloud and sign into the second account.
    - Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
    - To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.

    This is normal under iOS 7. The App Store app shows all apps you have updated and are displayed in an "updated" list. The apps will drop off of the list in a few weeks or so. If they show as being updated, then they have in fact been updated. They will remain in the "updated" list until they are dropped off after a time.

    For gmail you could try unlocking your account here: https://accounts.google.com/b/0/DisplayUnlockCaptcha.  Don't know about hotmail.
