Quite impresed with apple at first but they are lackingin backup for iphone when its stuck its stuck in recovery loop wont start or upgrade amasing when you look on apple forums many people in the same situation but no one knows the answers.Many people on your tube profess to but they dont they always show iphone with apps on them its not stuck in recovery you wont get app just connect to that stupid itunes that can not do that much as i said first look was impresive but not sure now

No Flash for iPads, iPhones, or iPods
Here's why there's is no Flash available for iDevices or other mobile devices. Adobe was unable to provide a product that was suitable to the needs of battery powered mobile devices used for Internet browsing. Existing Flash technology used too much memory, ate battery life, and was buggy. Simply put Flash did not work well on mobile devices.
Apple's Steve Jobs led the escape from Flash dependency when Apple introduced the iPhone, and later introduced the iPad. There was a hue and cry over the omission. Time proved Jobs was right on target.
So this is why there is no Flash for your iPhone or iPad or iPod nor for most SmartPhones. Flash has been abandoned by many sites in favor of supported technologies such as HTML5 or by providing their own custom app.

Now, you are not necessarily out on a limb. There are some apps that can display some Flash, but don't count on there ability to display anything using Flash.

Why does iphoto not accept my phone number when filling out shipping info for buying cards??
Im trying to generate some thank you cards in iphoto 11 and when paying for them, it wont accept my telephone number in the Primary number box, which is in the delivery contact bit in the shipping information box. The telephone number keeps going red and i cant get any further with ordering the thank you cards. I have been to Itunes to check my billing and payment information and im using the same telephone number so i cant see why it wnt do it?? Please help as these thank you cards are from my kids to grandparents and other family members and my wife is getting irate at me, because i havent done what should be a simple thing!!!!!

Also I'v eseen reports that number of digits can cause this if you are in an area that uses a different number of digits - I believe that someone reported that they had to move one digit to another field to get it to work - you might search the fourms for that post

Help. how do i get iphone out of recovery mode without having to restore
hello,
i have no idea why, but the new update for iphone did not work when i was downloading last night and the phone put itself into recovery mode. i havent synched it with my computer for a while and theres tons of stuff on there that i cant afford to lose if i choose to restore.
after doing a bit of research i found iNdependence and iFuntastic. iNdependence constantly displays 'Status: disconnected waiting for iphone' so i cant do anything on it and iFuntastic i can not find where abouts to click to get the phone out of recovery mode.
if anyone could help that would be fantastic!

Why does iMovie not recognize video taken with my iPhone that is in Aperture
Since "upgrading" (not sure that is a good term for this project) to Lion, I am unable to see or import .mov files taken with my iPhone, on a Mac using Aperture and iMovie. I uninstalled 3ivX and now can see them in iPhoto and Aperture but when I try to import them into iMovie you cannot see them in the media browser.
You have to import the movie into iTunes via iOS file sharing, then drag the movie from the file sharing window in iTunes to the desktop, then you can import the movie into iMovie. Here are the details.

I recently bought some new tv shows on itunes and they will not sync to my ipod classic. A alert window keeps popping up saying that these new tv shows and their content cannot be played on this ipod. I thought this was a little weird since all of my other tv shows will sync but not these ones. If someone could help me fix this problem that would be greatly appreciated. thanks
The explanation I immediately have is that you bought the HD version of your TV show.
HD videos are not able to be synced to iPod classics, which is unfortunate.
The bright side is that that means you can spend less money on your videos since standard definition (SD) videos cost almost half as much as HD.
You should still be able to play these videos on your computer, just not your iPod.
If you want a refund, you may want to try to contact Apple and they might give you iTunes store credits. You can read other posts on that and others' experience.
But the rundown is to go into iTunes, look at your Account. You can do this by going to the iTunes store and signing in, then clicking on your email address in the corner. Once you are viewing your account, scroll to your purchase history and click see all. Once you find the order, click on "Report a Problem". You should be able to email someone at Apple. In my experience with this, they are very understanding and will get you a refund or new iTunes store credits.

How come although iPads are getting more powerful, the iOS apps from apple are so mediocre and just not that great? We spend all this money for the latest ipad and all we get is these $5 video and music apps from apple. Why create the iOS platform and only offer so so apps like IMovie and GarageBand ? While other developers are offering much better apps like pinnacle studio for video, Cubasis and Auria for music production, apple has not showed much growth in terms of innovation. While there's nothing wrong with making an app like GarageBand where "anyone " can make a song, how about something for real musicians or an app not so basic as it get for video editing? After spending 0ver $700 on an ipad I'd be willing to spend more than $5 for a better video or audio app.
First, try a system reset although I can't give you any confidence. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. -
