You need to select the heading of the left-most column of numbers as the sort column, then you can reorder.

I just bought a new printer for my iMac version 10.7 Lion but I am able to install the software but for some reason I am not able to view the printer under system preferences to add the printer. I have an iPhone 4 and for some reason I'm not able to update the software. I go to Settings then General but it doesn't even have a Software Update option. Am I missing something?
With iOS 4, the only way to update your software is connected to iTunes. OTA (over the air) updates were not available until iOS 5. You will need to connect your iPhone to a computer and use iTunes to download and install the iOS updates on your iPhone (at least until your iOS version is 5.0 or higher).

When I purchased a song on itunes, for some reason it did not download the whole song. It quits about 1 and 1/2 minutes through the song. Is there a way I can re-download the song without re-paying for it?

hello everyone. I have recently installed a Samsung SSD (solid state hard drive) into my destop PC. For some reason Lightroom does not see it ? So i cannot ingest photos from it, or copy photos from a card to it. It is not listed as a drive option. LR sees every other drive. My computer sees it fine, so i was able to create a catalogue there. Im running windows 8.1. Any ideas ? I will also add that this drive became corrupt and was repaired by Samsung. Maybe they didn't do a very good job.. ..

Opened Lightroom.
Create new catalogue.
This opened the Windows 8 file explorer window and Windows recognises the drive. So I was able to create a catalogue there and save.
I then inserted my memory card into my card reader which LR recognised. I selected it, chose all the photos within and then navigated to the right side of the Lr import dialogue window to locate this problem drive as on this occasion i want the RAW files on the same drive as the lrcat. However all my other drives are listed but not this Samsung SSD.
In addition this Samsung SSD is not listed a drive to import from in the same dialogue window. -
I have an old iphone 3G that I want to use as an ipod touch. It does have a sim card in it and it has been reset. For some reason it will not pick up my wireless network in my house, or any other wireless network. What could be the problem?

For some reason, I can not delete bookmarks. I did one at a time, then tried 5 or 6 and it worked once then no more. I then tried 1 at a time and it worked once the no more. Why is this happening? This is a brand new computer (Win7) and FF just loaded about 3 hours ago. Do not know how the bookmarks even got in there. Some were ok, but no order and some that were never bookmarks. Looks like FF tried to import some BM's from the Virtual XP installed, but did not get it any where near right. I need to completely delete all of them and install from a saved .html file.Well, I did not see the exact problem that I was having listed in the articles, BUT the problem is solved for now.
I opened FF and the Bookmarks to Organize again. I deleted all of the folders and entries, ONE AT A TIME, AND IT WORKED. Evidently, for what ever reason, FF did not like "Batch" deletes of ANY amount greater than 1 and the HANG UP would occur.
Deleting one at a time then importing the good .html from a good file, loaded the wanted Bookmarks. Yea -

I do not use or have not signed up for a MobileMe Account but I am getting duplicates in my iCal for some reason. All discussions I read are pointing to the MobileMe being the problem but it is not. Please help me. There must be another reason all my entries appear twice.

For some reason I can not launch Dash board anymore. I have used Finder and it is not there. What can I co besides take computer into service?
1. It's possible you removed Dashboard from your Dock by mistake. In that case, you can find it in your Applications folder and drag it back to the Dock to create the alias. The entire Dock are aliases.
2. If you cannot find in your Applications folder you can try re-installing the Combo Update I linked to.
This is a fuller install, as opposed to an incremental "delta" update so it should overwrite any files that are damaged or missing. It does not matter if you have applied it before. -
I updated my computer to os x 10.5.8 so I can synchronize iphone with itunes. For some reason computer does not noticed it has been updated. Can anyone advise?

Go to the App Store and check out the Purchases List. If iPhoto is there then it will be v9.6.1
If it is there, then drag your existing iPhoto app (not the library, just the app) to the trash
Install the App from the App Store.
Sometimes iPhoto is not visible on the Purchases List. it may be hidden. See this article for details on how to unhide it.

One question often asked: Will I lose my Photos if I reinstall?
iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always. -
i have an ipod touch and for some reason cannot connect to itunes store. I have full wifi and can get on my safari and was able to update my apps before. I can still get apps but when i try to update it says cannot connect to itunes store. Some1 help!
