Having purchased an itouch 4 and installed itunes 10.5 for my daughter on her laptop i now cannot copy films into movies on itunes. Even though I always did with my itunes and her ipod on my laptop.

I have rebooted my laptop and, guess what, iPhone is now NOTseen! Who designed this software, an idiot? Oh, I forgot Apple programmers don't know anything about Windows especially Windows 7. I still think this has to do with the differing formats as if there are pictures on the iPhone, Windows sees it as a camera and it is possible to see the pictures in Explorer, so these must be stored in FAT format. Maybe someone needs to design the phone to tell Windows that it's a phone and tells Windows to load the correct drivers. Maybe that's too difficult! -

Hi,
USB recovery disk was used to recover your system when it encounter problem. You can try to use it to fix your problem instead reinstall system. However, there is no method to keep your program whenreinstall system.

I just updated my iTunes, and I need to delete photos from my iPod 4, and there is a Photo Library that synced to my iPod when i plugged it into my computer, and now it doesnt have the option to delete them off my iPod. How do I get rid of these photos? I have read other questions that say to plug the iPod into the computer and like un-sync it, but I downloaded the new iTunes and it doesnt have a photos tab. I purchased many alert tones in itunes and then updated my itunes. Now my alert tones do not show up, although if I were to go re-purchase those items, itunes says I already purchased them. Where do I find those tones and how do I get them back into my phone without having to repurchase???? This is so frustrating! Please Help!
1. iTunes won't offer cloud downloads for songs that it "thinks" are in your library, even if it "knows" the files are missing. If you've exhaustively searched for the missing files and there is no prospect of repair by restoring to them to their original locations, or connecting to new ones, then delete that tracks that display both the missing exclamation mark and are of media kind Purchased/Protected AAC audio file. Don't hide from iTunes in the cloud when asked, close iTunes, then reopen. You can download from the cloud links or iTunes Store > Quicklinks > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer > All songs > Download all.
2. Why? Not sure, perhaps 3rd party tools or accidental key presses combined with previously hidden warning messages when trying to organize the library. There is a hint that using the feature to downsample media as it is synced to a device may also be involved, though I've not replicated it. Whatever the reason a backup would protect your media.

I got a request from apple to update my itunes and while uploading the update, the program gave an error message and now I can not open my itunes and fear that all my music etc is gone? what do I do to correct this problem?
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

I installed the latest update of iTunes and now my computer is extremely slow and it freezes. When I click on the itunes icon, nothing happens, if it opens is a long time afterwards. Most of the time it does not even open, but the computer is very slow. It is a PC desktop running windos xp.

I accepted a recent update for iTunes and now my version of Spin Doctor can't communicate with iTunes, specifically, I can't get music files to go over to iTunes. Spin Doctor gives me a message indicating that iTunes isn't working properly.
I am using iTunes 9.1.1(12) and Spin Doctor 3.1.1.304t. I have investigated upgrading the Spin Doctor but I think too much time has passed and the version available are too far advanced.
Any ideas? Can I undo the iTunes upgrade? Is there a website that I can go to to get the upgrade for my Spin Doctor?

MaryIf your iMac is an Intel CPU model, you can upgrade the OS to OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard.
Then use software update to update 10.6 Snow Leopard to OS X 10,6.8.
Then you can run the latest iTunes to sync your iPad running iOS 6

Try resetting the Nano with it still connected to a high powered USB 2.0 port on your PC. To reset the iPod, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
