Im new to itunes so this might be a simple answer but...I downloaded 20 songs a few days ago and the last 45-60 second ds of more than half didn't download. When playing the song it will kirt move to the next song. How can I get it to download again or get my money back? It does this whether I'm on my ipod touch, laptop, shuffle, etc.

That has been a common problem at the Store for several months. The easiest thing is to download fresh copies at no charge, per these instructions:

This might be a simple question. On those sites that do not differentiate between models when on the internet I.e. Facebook when after your comment and you cannot hit "enter" on an iPad for examp. And speed is slow to connect. What is = to post?

This is probably a simple solution, but, so far, not for me.

I have a MacBook running Tiger. I moved my iTunes Library to an external HD. iTunes works fine for me, but I'd like all the accounts on my machine to be able to access iTunes easily. I've repaired permissions, changed permissions, etc. all to no avail. My sons and wife cannot use my iTunes library.
Is there a simple setting I can use so that all the accounts on my MacBook can use, listen to, add to and access my iTunes library? Any help is appreciated.

Where is your iTunes Library file located? For your purposes, it should be in the ~user/Music/iTunes folder. If you moved it to the eHD, you should ideally copy that file (and iTunes Music Library.xml) back to your Mac, then launch iTunes with the Option key pressed down, then Choose Library.., then point to where you moved it back to.
The basic principle is this : if you want all users to have their own playlists etc, then everyone needs their own iTunes Library file, preferably in their own user account, in the Music/iTunes folder.

Finally, if you are having problems with permissions on an external drive, I'm wondering how it is formatted? If in MS-DOS FAT32 it MAY be the cause of your problem, in which case you should back up everything on there and reformat to Mac OS X Extended.

All I want to do is take a jpg, and add a text object that I can position and reposition if necessary, then export it as a new jpg. Is this simple task possible within iPhoto (or any other program that comes with a new MacPro)?

No, you cannot add text to a photo in iPhoto. You'll need an external editor such as Graphic Coverter, Seashore, or Photoshop Elements. You might also search on MacUpdate

I am working on a spreadsheet to help keep track of my finances but cannot figure out one very important formula. Heres an example of what i want to do. In cell A1, I've got the balance of my auto loan. In column C I've got a drop down menu of various bill; in the adjacent column i enter the amount I've paid towards that bill for that month. So when I select "Auto Loan" from the pull down menu, i want it to subtract the amount in the adjacent column from the amount in A1. I've tried using the VLOOKUP formula, however, this only returns one value, even when there is more than one cell with the matching criteria. I need it to return the sum of these cells.

I'm not sure how your table is formatted, but I thought this might illustrate a solution. I'm assuming that columns C contains all manner of daily expenses, food, clothing gas utilities, etc. I'm also assuming you are interested only in the "current" balance of you car payments, not intermediate balances from the initial amount. The formula is:
=Auto Loan Balance Initial Balance-SUMIF(Expense,"Auto Loan",Monthly Payment)

Thanks for your help. I bought a 5 second ring tone. I have tried all the suggestions to convert it but still nothing. I will ask for a refund when I get my receipt email. Absolutely needing to work with images on a server, the update to 10.4.6 and it's issues with Photoshop, is giving my co-worker a headache.
If he archives and installs, to 10.4 are the updates to 10.4.5 still available?
I did a quick search of the main support site and found only 10.4.6.
Will he be stuck in 10.4 until 10.4.7?

Before performing a downgrade install as you're considering, I'd spend some time trying to solve the problem, particularly checking the Adobe knowledge base or the Adobe forums for Photoshop. It would also help if you'd specify the version of Photoshop that's having the problem and if all appropriate updates to that version of Photoshop have been applied.
Downgrade installs can be very dodgy. Apple does not recommend them, as they note in the "About 'Downgrade' installations" section at the end of "Mac OS X: Troubleshooting installation and software updates." Additional information about why downgrade installs are problematic can be found in "Applications don't work after reinstalling Mac OS X."
If you want to try a downgrade install to 10.4.5 from 10.4.6, you can see my "General advice on performing an Archive and Install" FAQ. In step (4b), install the Mac OS X 10.4.5 Combo Update, then follow the rest of the steps. Note that:• Downgrade installs are performed at your own risk. While the downgrade method outlined above has worked for many, Apple does not recommend downgrade installations and one cannot account for how variances between individual users' systems may affect the outcome. Again, use at your own risk: you break it, you fix it.
• I would only test third-party applications in Step 5 as Apple apps are likely to run into the issues with the Previous Systems folder noted in "Applications don't work after reinstalling Mac OS X."
• Apple apps should be safe to test after Step 6, but you may still run into problems due to 10.4.6-related changes in preferences files in your Home > Library > Preferences folder. Discarding the preferences files for Apple applications that are problematic after a downgrade install may solve the problem with those applications.Good luck!

Is the Mac Mini with the 9400M video card powerful enough to run final cut studio? I'm using the previous model mac mini to use FCE but I'd really like to get into learning the programs in final cut studio but I dont have the money to spend on the iMac or the Macbook Pro.

called shazam aren't free like on the apps store for iphone..for nokia it's free BUT only for 30 days!=(...iphone is forever i think(but i don't care about iphone) please please make it free forever for nokia devices cause that app is awesome=D

Shazam is a 3rd party application. You need to ask Shazam why they are charging Nokia users and not iPhone users.

You are an accident waiting to happen!!!!! Backing up data
is extremely important as anything may happen at any time.
Relying on a single electronic copy of your data is not a good
idea at all!!
Now of course, if all your data on your computer has absolutely
no meaning to you, then there is no need to backup.

I've looked all over this Forum and the JDeveloper 9i tutorial but I can't figure out how to disable the picklist box from my resultset. The searchable object is assigned to "MessageChoice" for the search option but that picklist value shouldn't be showing up in the resultset. I've tried all reconfiguring many of the options in the Property Inspector but nothing works.
