Recovery mode will work. BUT if your like most people you probably dont want to lose all your information. Sometimes if you just plug your ipod into a computer you have used before it will just unlock it for you! Sometimes if that doesnt work you can try to just back up your stuff to your computer unless you already have your stuff backed up to iCloud.
In that case get a computer get on any internet provider and go to www.icloud.com sign in and go to Find My iPhone. From there click on your devise and do a remote wipe. Personally I find this much easier than to have to mess with downloading software on your computer and all the other crap.

IPad 2 Disabled Please Help!!!!

This is a topic that has been discussed quite a lot on this forum however I have searched high and low and I have not been able to find a fix!
My son has some how managed to disable my iPad 2 and the problem I am faced with is that it is telling me to connect it to iTunes, but when I do it gives me the following message: "iTunes could not connect to the iPad because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the iPad before it can be used with iTunes."
I obviously cannot enter the passcode because the iPad is disabled, so the next best thing is to do a force recovery which would be awesome but when I hold down the off button (even for 60 seconds) and holding the home and off button but nothing happens....
Please help me!

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.
3. Repeat the process if necessary.

Restore your phone from backup on the last computer you synced with, while the passcode was enabled. This will remove the passcode. If you have not synced, while the passcode was enabled, you will have to force the phone into recovery mode in order to restore it & remove the passcode.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

System disabled please help...

Hi, I purchased a laptop today and went to install windows on it and it came up asking me for a password as soon as i boot up, now it says system disabled 68263278, Can anybody help please.

How old is the unit? If you just purchased it you should take it back to the vendor if you have to install the operating system yourself. If you bought it from a private entity, it may be stolen and the Lo-Jac service has started and disabled the system but the subscription has expired. Find out the background of the unit and get the honest facts. If all is legit, you can ind the information here. If is'nt, all you do to get this unit online will be fraudlent and will eventually cause you grief.

Design mode disabled please help

Got to the office this morning and when I fired up Flash builder for PHP my desighn mode was disabled. I cant get this to work at all. Any idea what might be going on here?
My builder mode is set to flah not Zend... this makes no sence please help

Not sure why this disabled in the first place. Would seem a lot of other people having the same isseu with out being able to fix it.
The solution is rather imbarisingly simple. Click on window and then Enable Design Mode.
Desighn mode ont greyed out any more.

Hello, I have the brand new iPod Touch 5. And someone messed up the passcode and now it says "iPod is disabled connect to iTunes". After I connect it to iTunes, it says "Do you want to allow this computer to access information on "iPod"? When I click Continue it says "To allow access, please respond on your iPod touch." But nothing happens on the ipod it still says disabled. Also I never synced this iPod to any computer before. I have lots of pictures that I need. Is there any way I can recover those pictures? I've looked at other similar posts and none of the solutions work. Thanks!
