My friend sends me photos from his iPad 2 via email. However, when they arrive in my inbox on my iPad 2, the photos do not show up. I receive 20-some characters. Please advise as to the problem.
Try sending them via the Messages app as opposed to E-mail.
E-mail shouldn't normally be a problem, but Messages will do as a soloution.
To do so:
. You need iOS 5
1. Go to your Photo Gallery
2. Open up the album/ images you want to send
3. Press the share button (top right hand corner)
4. Select 'Send as Message' (not e- mail)
5. Select your friends Apple ID from your address book for his iPad
6. Voila!
- it's something along those lines...... my iPad is downstairs atm, but the actual way of doing it will be similar...... !

I started the OS system from a backup hard drive. Now My Adobe products doesnt work. "the licensing does not work for this product" Error code 150:30. Help me please!!
Reinstall the software properly. migration/ backups do not work due to the specific requirements of the activation system.

When I try to simply add a few photos (from Events) into a newly created Album, it always creates a new Folder - a sub folder to the new Album I just created - for the photos to go into. I don't need a Folder! I just need the photos to add into the Album. What am I doing wrong?
Sometimes it takes a precise drop to get it into the album. Make sure you see the album highlighted before releasing the mouse:

Who is your email provider? Try another email provider or another Wi-Fi network.

I am trying to upload photos from my Windows 7 desktop, and was told to go to the iCloud control panel and drag the photos into the
upload to photo stream icon. I have downloaded the contol panel several times and cannot find the icon to get this done. HELPIf you're trying to add photos to photo stream on your PC, you drag them to your photo stream uploads folder (normally My Pictures\Photo Stream\Uploads).

When using my iPhone 4s front camera, the screen sometimes become black or have blue stripes on it! Is this a hardware or software problem? Can this issue be covered by my warranty? They wanted me to register, so I registered (as my old apple ID) and then they asked if I want to restore backup, I did that too. after the restore back up process, the only things that aren't there were my music and apps! what should I do to get them into my new iPhone? -
I transferred photos from iphoto to a Seagate external hard drive and now I cant access the photos
When I plug in the hard drive to my macbook, I can see the iPhoto folder but it tells me that it is not accessible since Time Machine is running.
All I want to do is pull a few pictures off of the hard drive. So frustrating! Any help is greatly appreciated!I tried turning ogg Time Machine but I am still unable to access any photos. The actual message that I receive when I try opening iPhoto on the hard drive is 'You can't open the application iPhoto because it is in a Time Machine backup.' Am I trying to open the wrong thing? I have looked for photo files but didnt find any. Thanks for your help!

Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with
Option #3, followed by #4 and then #1 as needed.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

I currently use the free adobe pdf reader. I am allowed to comment on PDF's but when I save the file and send the file with the comments the receiver of the email does not get anyy of the comments. Can anyone help?

I tried sending myself a pdf document with comments from one email account and I sent it to another email account. I still get the same problem. I basically receive a pdf document with no comments.

I have uploaded and installed ICLOUD to all three of my devices MAC, i pad nd Iphone.
From Ipad to Iphone i am able to retrieve PAGES documents as i write them. BUT now that i am back home i see that none of the new documents i am working on which are stored on my desktop are showing up in my PAGES file on my Ipad or Phone.
How do i save to icloud from mac, how come i can't retrieve docs from IPAD to MAC either?
should i back up my mac ICLOUD FIRST? and if so, Where do i back it up from?
going mad as i edit on one during the day and the other in the evening , and would like them to sync automatically
please can you help

i have in the meantim had to open www.icloud. then from there import the file that i am working on and then check on ipad if it uploaded/ yes it did.
but what a waste of time as it doesn not save any changes done automatically back in the cloud....
i am now downloading the new LION and hope that it will fix the problem
i cant find any other way. I was lead to believe that you wrote, it saved automatically, on to the cloud, you then opened anohter device in anotother country even, and the new file was there, waiting, in its latest version.......
and the same magic was supposed to happen in reverse.

It might have something to do with Proxies. Have a look in System Preferences>Network, click on your network - either ethernet or wifi - and click on the Proxies tab. Anything selected in there. If so deselect and then try.
Have you tried using another brrowser, maybe Chrome or Firefox? -
I have had MyWebSearch install itself as my primary browser....I have needed to reset Firefox in safe mode but I am not sure that the changes have actually been done! In Options in the Options menu the window displays all the add on's and features that are on Firefox....I have two zipped folders here One allows me to see inside the other does not. How do I access this one that does not give me the option to as I want to know what is inside...as this "MyWebSearch has been an enormous hassle...and needless to say has compromised my PC and the security of all of my passwords.....I want to be sure that the resetting the browser default has actually worked and that MyWebSearch is gone!

my iphone (3g) was given by my daughter who used it for 3 years. She did charged it everynight, however, when she gave me this iphone at Christmas, it was working properly and the batery last at least 5 to 6 hours when I used it continueslly. Last Monday, I used it as usal in the afternoon, work fine but when I tried to charge it in the evening, it will not able to be charged as usal. Is it possible to drop dead all of a sudden?
