Itunes can't connect to internet, istore, track names and not working properly
Help please I have spent hours trying to sort out what ever is wrong with my itunes.
I can't connect to store when trying to take digital copies of dvd, I can't get track names, When I connect ipad and iphone it doesn't go past backing up.
I have been in communication with Norton and they have tried loads of things. I have now uninstalled it until I get to the route of this problem.
Please help me!!OK many are not aware of this, but Windows XP with SP2 comes with windows firewall automaticcly on. so first check to make sure you have windows firewall off. goto the control panel, select "Security centre" and make sure it is tuned off. If the security center says "On" and is lited up green, you have some firewall on.
You may want to check with your ISP and make sure there not blocking you from the music store too thru there own firewall or other means -

there is a program called recboot. you can download it for free in two parts. one part takes your device out of recovery mode and the other puts it into recovery mode. ive used it before but it doesnt always work and you have to be patient. try it and tell me what happens

i have a late 2011 macbook pro. i've tried connecting it up to my old tv by..
minidisplay port -> vga -> tv/pc converter to RCA. i get a signal on my macbook pro picking up my tv
but on the tv i get tons of moving/flickering lines sometimes with a slight picture in no matter what resolution i use?
any ideas what i can do to make a proper image?How do you even get a signal? I just got a brand new MacBook Pro and I too am trying to connect it to an non-HD television. I can't even get a signal to show up on my T.V.

when I connect my apple tv to my access point upstair and connect my ipad to the same access point i cant see my apple tv when i open up the airplay menu on my ipad. but i can see the apple tv in the living room downstair which connect to the main router.
Below is some info i get about ports.
I tried to set DMZ on my main router to have full access to ported to access point upstair which is in the ip of 192.168.1.2 and the main router in the living room is the gateway router with the 192.168.1.1 ip.
I still cant see apple tv after i try the DMZ method.
any suggestion ?

Have you tried Option click on the sound icon in the status bar at top right of your screen? It shows the Output and Input options. Select your Apple TV there. -

I have a 16GB iPhone 3GS. Tried synching my phone through iTunes (11.0.1 I think... on a 2009 Macbook Pro). Now when I connect to iTunes, it says it does not recognise the content on my phone. Is this because my phone (and laptop) are too old?
Also, when I tried to Restore the settings, an Error Message pops up that says " The iPhone software update server could not be contacted. The requested resource was not found.
I'm trying to free up space on my phone by removing [literally] thousands of old photos which were originally synched to the phone, because I had forgotten to uncheck the photos button when I synched it ages ago.
I have also tried synching it on my 24" iMac (running OSX Snow Leopard). But again, when I try restoring the phone through itunes, it says the file is corrupted. It sggests unplugging the device, and then plugging it in again. I have done this numerous times with no success.
I'm guessing it must be because my phone (and versions of iTunes, and OSX) are all too old.
Please can anybody help.

when i connect my iphone to my laptop and open itunes it shows my iphone has nothing on it(no music, no movies, etc...) then when i try to sync it says iphone is is full and can only put in a selected amount of songs. Take in mind this is my first time to sync with this laptop(HP 15 ENVY) and as well my laptop is just brand new. just got it a week ago. so how do i fix this prob. and also when i open my itunes store and then view my account it says error occurred either debug it through Microsoft visual studio or close program. I tired copying all the .dll files to the itunes folder didn't help
I cannot address the sync services error right now, but the error that you receive when you change from sync to manually manage music is what happens when you change. Once you change to manually manage music, it erases all of the music and will only put the music that you want on the phone, content that you manually drag over to it. This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, using a different dock connector to USB cable, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections. If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode,put it into Recovery Mode.
Restore and wait for the error.
When prompted, click OK.
Close and reopen iTunes while the device remains connected.
The device should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
Try to restore again.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, try restoring using a known-good USB cable, computer, and network connection.

Flash player is not working whenever I switch to airport connection
The flash player is not working in both Safari and firefox, when I switch the internet connection to the airport (WiFi), but the Ethernet connection is working fine with flash player.
