TS3276 can not see my e-mails in inbox
When I open my inbox I can not see any mail only if i type in to the finder a name the e-mails appear.
Hi did you manage to resolve this issue?
I've just bought a mac and installed Office. I imported my emails over from windows as a pst file which worked fine. Now when i recieve an email, outlook shows it has arrived in the inbox but i cant find it anywhere?
I have rebuilt my identity and checked all rules and schedules but cant find anything wrong. I've even deleted the account and reinstalled it but its still the same?

graceThe Junk Mail reset feature resets the Junk Mail "learned" settings back to square one only.
Using the Finder go to Home > Library > Mail > this POP account named folder (named by the user name and incoming mail server for the account) - for the account that does not have a visible junk mailbox under Junk in the mailboxes drawer.
Within a POP account named folder for Jaguar or Panther Mail should be a MessageUidsAlreadyDownloaded file and mbox files (with an .mbox extension) and no folders.
Confirm there is a Junk.mbox named file and not a Junk named folder. If there is a Junk named folder, quit Mail first and using the Finder, change the name of the Junk folder to Junk.mbox or add the .mbox extension.
Launch Mail and this should resolve the problem.
Changing Junk Mail from Automatic to Training and back to Automatic can cause this so even when using the Junk Mail reset feature, you can leave Junk Mail set to Automatic.
The Junk Mail filter "learns" in the same way regardless if set to Training or Automatic and will continue to "learn' when set to Automatic. The only difference between these settings is messages that are automatically or manually marked as Junk are automatically moved from the account's Inbox mailbox to the account's Junk mailbox. -
Can not see size of mail in status bar when composing

You know the status bar of the "compose mail" window, which appears when adding images?
I does not appear when I add PDF's, is this the right behaviour?
Is there another way of seeing the size of the message before sending?

presumably so. that's how it always worked.

you can control-click on the pdf in the message composition window and select "view as icon". this will show its size. then you can control-click again and select "show in place". that's the best i can think of.

I used to open my mail by double clicking on thunderbird icon on desk top. A window would open with all of my e-mails in the right side pane and saved folders in left pane. I see NOTHING now. How do I get it all back or where is it?

I moved from XP to Windows 7 a little over a year ago and it fixed just about every problem I had with my old system. Hang crashes and missing files were basically thing of the past.
With regard to staying with XP, it is probably not the brightest thing, as you suggest. There are alternatives. Some free some expensive. (Mostly free)
There is Windows XP Mode in Windows 7 see http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/install-and-use-windows-xp-mode-in-windows-7 WHilst not ideal, it places your XP environment another step away from the internet and is preferable to XP alone. Regardless of what Microsoft are saying.
There are "real" virtual machines. see http://www.vmware.com/products/player where VMWARE claim "run windows XP forever" there is a free personal use link at the bottom. But $100 odd is not a lot in a business to purchase the product.
Finally there is Linux it has had "wine" for about a decade now and it runs almost all XP programs without any issues at all.
Regardless of your circumstances, I strongly suggest you seek professional advise on what to do, sticking with XP is not really a viable long term option. If you are in business it leaves you open to litigation should anyone loose money or production through your decision, and personally it is just safer Even if your banks ATMs are still using XP, (about 90% worldwide), everyone should be working on an exit plan. -

I just upgrade to 10.8.5 (from snow leopard on an '08 iMac 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 4 GB memory) and I have a problem with Mail
While during migration there was no problem and it looks like all my massages was transferred (more than 17.000 mails) when I open Mail there is no "Message Viewer" window and if I try to open it from menu "Window" I have the message "Mail quit unexpectedly" (I have report it to Apple).
So I can not see my mails!!
Otherwise everything looks "OK" with Mail. I can see all my accounts in Preferences, I can see other windows like Activity, I can even see the red indicator with he new mails on the Mail icon on the Dock… But I can not quit Mail, only Force quit…

TS3276 I can login perfectly to my hotmail account but can not see the contents. What is wrong?
I have more than one mail account. All of them are working except hotmail. Everything seems to be logged correctly. Even checked with "connection doctor". I can not see the contents of the hotmail account. What could be wrong?
When you read the ebooks on your iPad (with you logged in using your Acrobat account), did you explicitly save those files to Acrobat.com? Are you able to access those same files in browser?

Quit the mail app completely and then launch it again.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close.
Or try this.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -

When I reply e-mial , receiver can not see his orginal e-mail in my reply ... but he can find it as attachment.... it was wroking properly before , I tihnk this matter happened after I chose rebuild in Mailbox monew bar...I have noticed that the e-mail which i have received from gmail to my yahoo a/c in yahoo a/c i can't see the photos in middle of the text of e-mail.First i thought that there is some problem in Firefox 5 but when i forwarded that e-mail from yahoo to gmail a/c is was able to see the photos.But my problem is not solved because i use yahoo only as my main a/c for all the communications.So is the problem with the yahoo mail?Please help me out as soon as possible.One more thing is would like you to know that if i check my yahoo mail from Google chrome & Internet explorer 8 i am able to see the photos in the middle of the text, the same e-mail which i have got from gmail so where exactly the problem is? It is getting complicated for me to solve this problem.

I use a iphone and MacBook Pro using mail on each. How can I see the same mail boxes on the laptop that I see on the iPhone?

Is this on wifi or cellular data?
Have you tried a reset? Hold down the home/power button until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
Have you gone into the email settings and making sure the password are still there? -
In iOS 7.0.2, Appstore updates can not see updated apps
Hi. i am using iPhone 4S with iOS 7.0.2.
I am updating some apps when updates comes but when i look notification center , some times i can see updated apps in notification center and the problem is Appstore updates can not see in all items .And some times, there is no any blue point some times but.
Is this bug?
Second question is; when i use assistive touch, some times, notification center and control center can not work. What about you.
Note: i installed in DFU mode and clean installed ios 7.Then readd the account.

I have asked for your email address to be edited out. Posting your address in an open thread is a sure way to be bombarded by unwanted email, remember it will be here long after you have resolved your problem, for automated detection software to find.
If you want people to contact you, enable others to see your email address in your profile.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID, verify the changes, enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone".
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, verify it once again, delete the iCloud account from your device and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

Close iTunes and disconnect the iPhone.
Choose Start > Control Panel.
Inside the Control Panel, open Administrative Tools.
Open Services.
Select Apple Mobile Device and click Stop the service.
After the service has stopped, click Start the service.
After the Apple Mobile Device service has started again, open iTunes and connect the device.

Hi everybody!
My phone downloads mail, when I turn it on.........no problem there.
The problem comes, when Apple has sent RSS feed to mail.
It does not show up in mail on the phone.
The only thing that happens is, that on the homepage on the phone, it shows 2 mails. When I go into the mail program, I can not see the mail.........Therefor I can not delete the mails.
So on the homescreen on my phone, it keeps telling me, that I have 2 mails and I can not get rid of that notice.
What can I do?
