Install ClamXav and run a scan with that. It should pick up any trojans.

First, copy your iPhoto Library to an external so that you have a backup.
Second, see if you can create a new Library and have it open. To do this, open iPhoto while holding down the Option key. It will ask which Library to use, or allow you to create a new Library. Save the new library with a different name from the old one.
If that does open with a new library, the old library is corrupt, but all the files are still OK.
If it is a corrupt Library, iPhoto Library Manager can repair some corruption, or transfer the Library over to a new one.

In my experience an "order by" is used way too much without any real need to do it. Are your users interested to know in what order a few records from two years ago have been inserted? What about updates since that time?

You can both share the same Apple ID for purchases but i suggest one of you use another email for the use of iMessage, Facetime etc.
It is easy to do, the easiest way is to set up an iCloud email directly from your iPhone. Once set up one of you will use this for iCloud services but both still use the existing Apple ID to make purchases.

Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

FCP X is alaways engraving the same version of my project even if modified and eventually renamed : it seems like FCPX reuse the same disc image. Is anyone having experienced the same issue ? Thanks for your help

Just recently when I go to save a document as a pdf (Mac. OS X 10.5.8) (Print save as pdf ) I cannot open the saved pdf. I get an error message that the file is corrupt or there has been an error.

I use both aol and Yahoo for email - the problem appears in both. It does not happen in Word.
This computer is on a wireless home network, but the error mssg appears no matter where I save the PDF. This is not a problem in Safari.

Am I forced to add email accounts to my iPad Air manually now that the iTunes option to do so has been...er..."upgraded"?

I purchased a new ipad air but after the iniatial iTunes sync only my neglected icloud email account transfered over. If I have to do this manually - yuck. Do any of you kind, knowledgeable humans have any helpful suggestions?

Do a Factory reset if you have an IPhone or Ipad backup in the cloud then set it up as a device from the
cloud and your Adresses are there. Then you need to put in the passwords for the mailboxes and everything is ok.

I am using firefox to access through the comcast serve to reach my email account. Regardless of the size of the email (well below the max size) the email server says that the file is attaching but nothing happens. However explorer works fine. I would rather use firefox. Looking fo advice on how to correct.

Most likely that website doesn't support Firefox or using ActiveX (A IE technology)

We use to have multiple iPods, now we both have iPhones. When she wants to FaceTime with relatives she has to use my Phone because that's where the Apple ID is "tied" to. Now if we want to FaceTime each other it gets weird.
We share similar taste in music so the music is not the problem.

Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.

Maybe you need to Tap the Calendar Button in the upper left corner of the calendar app and select a calendar in which to add the event.
Do you have. + sign in the lower right corner of the App? If not go to Settings>iCloud>Calendar>On. If you want to sync the calendar with iCloud, leave it set to on. If not, then set it to Off.
Or try this of those suggestions don't work.
Close all app scompletely and reboot the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
