Just rented a movie in French on my iMac... movie will not start after download ?
What I do now ?

Okay. I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store. 
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

    I purchased a movie from iTunes and after the download it will not play on my iPad

    Try this stuff first.
    Quit the Videos App by double tapping the home button to bring up the multitasking/recents tray at the bottom, hold down on any of the app icons in the tray until all the icons wiggle, then tap the minus sign in the corner to quit the videos app. Tap the home button and the apps will stop wiggling.Tap the screen to return to the home screen.
    Next - Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears, then slide to the right to power off the iPad. Turn the iPad on again by pressing the sleep button until the Apple logo appears. Once the iPad has fully rebooted, try to play the movie again
    If that doesn't work - Try a hard reset by pressing and holding down on the sleep button while holding down on the home button at the same time for about 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears - ignore the red slider - and let go of the buttons. Launch the videos app and see what happens.

    Moved our 11.1.2 Windows 2008 SP2 (not R2) 64 bit machines from one domain to the other (test to prod) and reconfigured the repositories to the prod SQL server (2005). Configuration is all green yet the EPM_epmsystem1 will not go to started. It sticks at Starting and after some type of time out stops.
    We run as administrator thinking that would be the problem but to no avail. We tried the delivered script but to no avail either.
    In the E:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\diagnostics\logs\OPMN\opmn directory the opmn.log shows only this:

    Its a VM Image and i havent sent any ipaddress in  the host file too.
    however i am unable to start the OPMN (epmsystem1) service too from services.msc and it throw below error
    Could not start the Oracle Process Manager (EPM_epmsystem1) service on a Local Computer.
    Error 1053: The server did not respond to the start or controle request in a timely fashion.

  • I just updated firefox to 7.0.1. Now it will not start at all. No window even opens. What do I do?

    I don't know what other details I can provide. It is as I said. I accepted the update, and when it was done updating, no windows would open. It says safari with the menus in my upper left hand bar, but now windows open for anything.

  • Firefox 4 download will not start after the download is complete. It just doesn't run (Windows Vista), and can't be found in the program list. Solutions?

    I have tried to open it both as the original user and as administrator. Nothing happens after I indicate that it should open

    I was able to work the problem out by logging in as administrator. When the download was finished and extracted, a choice was offered to save rather than run. So I saved it on the desktop, and then right clicked on the icon, and selected "run as administrator". It then ran and installed with no problem.

    Refer to following article to remove SC file(s):
    Win 7/Vista http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2363
    WinXP http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1776
    Then proceed to repair your Quicktime:
    Win7/Vista - Start / Control Panel / Programs n Features.
    WinXP - Start / Control Panel / Add n Remove Programs
    Highlight QUICKTIME and click CHANGE then REPAIR

    Thank you for your interest in solving my problem.
    What I did I opened iTune. I read the information about what does my computener need to play back a rented movie. My computer is okay to play back rental movies. So I went to the iTunes store, I searched for the movie I want to watch, i singned in into my Mac account and I bought the movie. The movie started to download to my computer, it took some time because I bought a HD version, but it never stop and after a couple of hours or little less the movie was in the Rented folder of my iTunes and also I checked to be sure that was in the movie folder. So, next day I open iTunes and click on the movie, it opens but I wait for five minuetes and never started to play back, so I tried several time and I looked for info in different internet forums but I couldn't find anything that help. So I posted the problem in this forum and also I called Apple. Apple contacted me and they let me to download the movie again. So I did it and now I will watch the movie later. Not sure if the movie will play back normally or if I am going to have the same problem. I'll keep you posted.
    Apple representative did not know why this happened.

    My understanding is that rented movies can be viewed on only one device - the device that originally received the movie.  Consequently, they can not be synced.
    I can not explain why you see them twice in iTunes.

    Any idea why is Bridge latest version not working when trying to open it in Photoshop CC 2014 ? (French version) ? When trying, Creative Cloud app will open to ask if I want to download newest version, which I did numerous times now.

    Here's how a similar problem was resolved between PS and BR.
    The issue was confirmed by ChunXiaYang at Adobe staff and solution put in the forum discussion on June 19 (no. 13). Here's a copy:
    I have confirmed that this is a known issue before release. And the workaround is to uninstall and reinstall PS 2014. Then Bridge can be launched by selecting 'Browse in Bridge' in PS2014.
    Please try the installation, and let me know whether it works. Thanks!

    I did this with a fresh install of the entire CC package. As soon as the CC packages updated, CC Bridge broke. Unistalled CC PS, reinstalled again, CC Bridge works, but CC PS updates itself again, and breaks CC Bridge.
    You know... The whole move to CC has been a massive cluster... I've struggled with the CC packages for my entire subscription year, and now I'm 1.5 month away from needing to throw down another $720 for no reason what-so-ever, just so we can Beta test your really screwed up subscription services.

  • Itunes rental movie will not start

    Rented a movie with proper credentials and it will not start in iTunes. No error messages, nothing. Just will not start.
    Rented it again, same issue. What am I missing?

    This worked for me when I ran into the same issue (can scroll through rented movie but can't play it).  Just switch iTunes to the MiniPlayer (in the Window menu) and then back to the normal player.  Apparently, you may need to do this a few times. It sounds odd (and I didn't really expect it to work), but it fixed the problem for me.

    The fix was to completely remove all Apple Software following guides in previous posts.
    Then download and re-install latest iTunes 64-bit, making sure to Run As Administrator.
    This fixed it. Now the next thing seems to be that as I move from one device to another to close and restart iTunes between each one. Treat it gently. It seems to break easily and a lot.

    Without system information nobody can tell you anything. The download not even starting points to a more serious issue on your system.

    Just installed itunes 11.2.2 update and now itunes will not open.

    Have a similar problem, in that in both get info and in size column, iTunes.app shows "0bytes." The app initialy would not open using either "double click" on icon or using "open" in drop-down command menu.
    The app has now decided to function, apparently correctly (have not checked all functions, thus apparently correctly is based solely on playing two music selections and one music video), but still shows no disk space usage, This cannot be true or the app would not open.
    Am very concerned that the entire iTunes app will crash, in the process, destroying over five years of music, videos, apps, podcasts, movies, etc.
    Have tried removing this "0-bytes" iTunes - which cannot be trashed as it's part of system and reloading new over old .app from just-downloaded 11.2.2.dmg file.
    Any suggestions?
