TS3297 Pop-up message "There was a problem downloading 'APP NAME'. The network connection was reset."
I am trying to download updates for some Free apps. The app update starts to download but before finishing, I get a pop-up message "There was a problem downloading 'APP NAME'. The network connection was reset."
A couple of App updates downloaded successfully. Some don't. What do I need to do/change to get a download to finish so I can get all my app updates?

Good for you that can't update your iphone because I did it and my iphone dosen't work for example I can't download any app like Wecaht or Twitter..

Geting the following error message when trying to download the Lionel Richie album. All songs were downloaded but this one:
There was a problem downloading "Dancing On the Deiling (feat. Rascal Flatts) / Tuskee (Deluxe Edition) / Lionel Richie".
The files seems to be corrupted. To redownload the file, choose "Check for Available Downloads" from the Store menu.Go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.

Support has told me that its a problem with my connection, but I disagree, how come I can download countless songs from iTunes without ever getting this message, I think they are bullsh***g me to get rid of me.

I did absoultely nothing different yesterday to make it start working, I had previously disabled all my antivirus, firewall, anti tracker etc etc & it didnt sort it.
The only thing that happened yesterday was my laptop went dead flat & I had to a reboot (dont choose System Resume, which I normally do) I chose the other option in error & had to wait nearly an hour whilst my PC "repaired files etc" & it also downloaded a load of updates (had that message "dont power off, as updates are in progress")
I really dont know if that sorted the issue or Apple fixed the bug yesterday but its working.

I reset the wifi and the password, I also rebooted several times.Do you have any other browsers on your iPad? If you don't have one, why don't you try downloading one of these free browsers - they will all be "lite" versions (not full featured) - but if you can access these websites with one of those - then I assume that we can point to Safari as being the culprit. That will not solve the Safari problem, but it will give us another point from which to work.

I have Mercury, iCab Mobile, Opera, Dolphin and Atomic. iCab Mobile - the paid version is great.
BTW ... have you tried to access these sites from another WiFi connection - like a library, a friend's house - any other WiFi network? -

- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers

I just started experiencing this problem a few days ago. Anytime I'd try to download a song/video/movie, I would get the message, "Unable to check for available downloads. The network connection was reset".
So, instead of selecting "Check for Available Downloads" under "Advanced" menu...
I logged into "My Account" page in itunes. If there are available downloads it comes up at the top of the page with the option button "Download Now". When I select that -- it downloads immediately.
Can't promise it will work every time. But it's worked for me so far. Good luck... -

Mac Mac OS X (10.4.8)I have just phoned Tiscali and given them a piece of my mind. They initially lied to me and said it was not their problem. However after I mentioned all the messages posted on Apple and Tiscali website about this problem of not being able to connect to the itunes store - they backed down and admitted they were having technical issues. They said their engineers were working on the problem - however they failed to confirm when it would be fixed. I threatened to change ISP provider and Suraj agreed that was the best alternative for me. I said "You said it" and hung up. I am so cross with Tiscali as I have turned my computer upside down over the last 6 weeks trying to solve the problem only to find out it was Tiscali preventing users from logging into Itunes.
