I have problems trying to get the download to start. It keeps saying there is an error or too busy.
I am also getting adverts to buy before I have even been able to download or try the program.
Is there a free program that does similar without all the problems this one has to even get started? That is far too generic a question and it fails completely because you are not telling peopel exactly what you are trying to do. D&W Premium is a suite of 7 or 8 products plus various auxiliary apps and components and while there may be alternatives for some, not everything you could do with the suite can be done with free alternatives...

I am attempting to download 2 films from itunes one states download in 54 minute and is 2.01 Gb and the other states 1.64gb and will take 4 hours to download any advice?
It seems that I have solved my issue by performing a full factory reset (erasing all content, something which I had hoped to avoid) restoring from an iCloud backup did not alleviate the issue, I had to set up as a new iPad.
Hopefully anyone else else who has this issue in the future will be able to find this. -
HT1577 it will take 5 hours to download the movie I rented?
I've been using WildBlue satellite and got movies I rented (Netflix) almost instantly. But now I live in town and have DSL (northern NM) and I have rented a movie and it's telling me that it will take 5 hours to download. Really?
Devices connect to iTunes should be authorized (5 at a time). This is normal.
4 hours to download is more or less your Internet connection... I would talk to your ISP to see what package you have or test your speed connection yourself using this site http://www.speedtest.net.
If you do the speed test would you mind posting your results? -

Hello, it says it will take 65 hours to download a movie that was already purchased on the Cloud, How do I speed up the process. It says to go to Setting in I- tunes Store and select a lower video resolution but I don't see the Settings symbol in I tunes store. How do I select a lower setting and is that the best way if I bought the movie on HD?

My ipad is updating to I0S7 and says it will take 67 hours to download! Is this normal?
My ipad 2 is updating to IOS7 and says it will take 67 hours to download!
What can speed the process up? Thanks for any answers! Are you updating via iTUnes or 'over the air' wirelessly?
If via iTunes, the update is around a gig, so if you have slow internet, it could be taking that long. -
7.1 update keeps closing and before that it says it will take 1 HOUR TO DOWNLOAD!!!

When renting from iTunes, I have to rent the movie early in the morning so it will be downloaded by the afternoon to watch in the evening. Why does it take so long to view a rented movie? I'm on Cox with extra bandwidth-high speed connection.
Thank you so much Paul_31 for your suggestions, HUGELY appreciate the effort
I have reset the printing system, a few times for good measure but nadda.
I have also looked at getting the software from the Apple site after seeing that with Snow Leopard you should let the operating system lead the install not the manufacteurers software as it is most likely out of date. I too found it wasn't there so I uninstalled the software got up the CLX_3300 series stuff then went from there with the USB cable. It apparently hasn't worked either
Unfortunately now after using the print utility to scan for a while that has now gone again on the last restart of the Mac. I am so completely clueless
The box says the printer is compatible, the place of purchase said it was compatible, the Samsung site says it is compatible.
I think it's the set up of my Mac? Our maybe a glitch in the network settings?
Thanks again -
Apple TV shows take 15 hours to download, HD movies take minutes, why??
This I ridiculous. I've purchased Breaking Bad Season 2 and cannot even watch it on my Apple TV. It says a show will take 15+ hours to download whilst a HD movie will download immediately. Why is this so?
What kind of internet connection speed do you have?
If you have 3Mbps DSL like I do, and are renting movies on either Apple TV model in HD Format, then it will take quite a while. Actually 3 Hours for an HD Movie would be failry fast here at my home. They are just large files. If I'm going to rent an HD movie, I will usually rent it earlier in the day and watch it when I'm ready.
If you have an adequate internet connection, and just want to rent movies on the fly and don't care about HD, on the AppleTV v2 you can go to Settings / General / iTunes Store / Video Resolution... and select Standard Definition. With our 3Mbps DSL connection, when we rent a movie it is generally "Ready to Play..." within about 2 minutes at the most (enough time to grab a beer and get comfortable)
As far as I know, Standard Definition movies still show on the same menu as the HD version with the ATV v1. I preferred that menu format myself because you didn't have to change the option in settings when you wanted to go back and forth. -
Hi,
I've just rented a movie, which claims its going to take 14 hours to download. Its still at it after 1 hour. To make matters worse, the 48 hours it gives you to watch it has already started and charged me an hour. There was a message to say I could start watching it now but it dosen't work. Please can you help? You'll have to wait till it downloads much further than. If your download says it will take 14 hours to download, you have a very slow connection. You would never be able to watch the movie until it downloads completly.

Downloaded a movie from iTunes to my iPad. 2 minutes into the movie it stopped and My Videos is stuck in black screen mode. So basically rented a movie and never watched it.
The EXACT same thing happened to me last night! Rented a movie; it had barely started and then froze. When I touch the video app icon, all I get is a blank, dimly lit screen. None of the other videos I own will display either. Was your problem ever resolved?

If the computer's running Mac OS X, move the cursor to the very top of the computer's screen, click on Store, and choose Authorize this Computer.
If the computer's running Windows, press the Alt and S keys and choose Authorize this Computer, or click here, follow the instructions, click on Store in the menu bar, and choose Authorize this Computer.
