iPods (except for iPod touch) are not linked to any iTunes "account." They are associated with your iTunes library. The account in iTunes is your Apple ID, and that is used to buy and download content from the iTunes Store. It is not required to use an iPod.
The 1st (and 2nd) gen shuffle can only be used with one iTunes library at a time. When you connect it, iTunes should prompt you to start using it with your iTunes library, and warn that the shuffle's existing content will be erased. Have iTunes erase the shuffle, and it will be associated with your iTunes library going forward. You can then add content to your shuffle.
The need for the previous owner's Apple ID and password should only come up if you are trying to transfer existing content from the shuffle to your iTunes library, AND the previous owner had content purchased from the iTunes Store. Just cancel out of that step, if iTunes asks.

You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us. -

I look at a lot of web pages looking for things that i would like to impliment into my web site. I came across this.
I want to be able to have an expandable menu where i can choose different options.
I don't know what this would even be called. That would be a good start, just knowing what it is called so that i can search further for it.
Is it a type of a spry menu bar?
Is this a widget of sorts?

In the importing operation Firefox detects Internet Explorer and Opera as installed browsers. When i select Internet Explorer cookies, history, favourites etc. are listed in a box where you can select the items you want to import in Firefox. When i select Opera no items are listed that can be imported. Any idea how this comes?

I think that what you are searching be in Tools >> Options >> Privacy >> On Firefox will: change to "Use custom settings for history" then Button Show Cookies will be allowed and you will see the cookies in your browser in the next window
If you uncheck "Accept cookies from sites", probably the sites that need cookies will alert you that you need active the storage cookies -
I can connect to i-tunes website. when I go to store to browse, I need to click on the i-tunes task bar under view to show options for browsing. It does not show the grid anymore unless I do that first. once I make a selection and click "buy" it tells me that i need to update my credit card information. I have already done that. I have checked i-tunes help and they sent e-mail suggesting that it is an issue on my computer.
is there a way of getting rid of "local caches from apps, browsers, mail, Messages, Reading List, saved games" other than a backup and restore ?

How do I find my password if I can't remember the answers to the security questions and the email address it is sending the password to no longer exists?
If you have a rescue email address set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address set up then go to Express Lane and select 'iTunes' from the list of 'products' in the middle of the screen.
Then select 'iTunes Store', and on the next screen select 'Account Management'
Next choose 'iTunes Store Account Security' and fill in that you'd like your security questions/answers reset.
You should get an email reply within, I think, about 24 to 48 hours (and check your Spam folder as well as your Inbox) -

I recently bought, from the original website of Adobe, Photoshop elements 13. However, when I go with my mouse pointer over the menu, It hangs or he works very slow. I have icloud and downloaded new CDs on my 2nd computer. How do I download the new music into my old computers iTunes using icloud.
For your computer first get iTunes to see it by:

- Or redownload them by:
