TS3376 what is going on with the find my iphone app,i use IOS 6.1.1 and i have updated the find my iphone app and now i cant locate my device
some help or some explanation would be nice because i rly need this app and now after the update im not able to locate my device
Not sure if it would help or not, but if you haven't already done so, some things you could try are:
Tap Sign Out on the top right of the app, then sign back in
Force close the app by going to the home screen, double-tapping the home button, locating the app in the list at the bottom, tapping and holding the app until it wiggles, tapping to close it, then tapping the home button again.
Go to Settings>iCloud on your phone, turn Find My iPhone off, the after a minute or so, turn it back on.

What is going on with mobile me? All I get is the find iphone screen and I can't switch apps to read mail.
MobileMe is working partially, Apple says some users can't access to the web-apps (Mail, Calendar, etc.). In my case is working fine in my iPhone, in Outlook 2010, and I can only access the Mail app (Calendar and other functions are not working!).

My 822 now says, "ERROR: Unable to find bootable option. Press any key to shut down." Just happened after my phone froze. Everything I've searched says to replace the phone. I have no phone in or out, no alarm....what is going on with this? I see others have the same problem.
Just got the same error message today. My phone went to the black screen of death with the error message at the top. Contacted Verizon via chat. Was online for 1 hour and 15 minutes only to find out that nothing could be done which I could have told them based upon what I had read on this site. Of course my phone is out of warranty since I have had it for 1 1/2 years and I am not eligible for an upgrade. How convenient! I was told to contact Nokia which I did and they gave me a download to try to reset everything. It looked like it was working but after almost 3 hours it got to the end and nothing happened. It just froze even though it said it was done. I rebooted the phone and am back at the same black screen of death. Guess I have to buy a used phone and then will have to reconsider whether or not to stay with Verizon going forward. I have not had any issues with the phone in the past - keep it in an otter box, never dropped, never got wet, etc. But all of a sudden it goes haywire like this that seems like either a hardware or software problem but something completely out of my control and all I get is sorry, you're out of warranty!

Same issue, since last night. Can't sign in to iTunes, download apps, or updates to apps on any device. I have iPhone 4S, iPad mini, MacBook Pro. East coast, writing this at 1:21pm EST. Changing password doesn't work. I can't log in with my iCloud address either. I have however noticed at least that if I enter the wrong password, I just get the incorrect password message. Using the right password gets the FATAL:: message every time.
I have my devices set to UK for the region even though I am in the US. Though that might have something to do with it so I switched to US- no change, same problem.
I agree that acknowledgement via their system status would be appropriate. Irritating that they are not at least publicly acknowledging there is a problem. I would feel much less concerned if I knew that they were aware and working on it. Can't find a support number anywhere but I did send a brief message via their help/contact page. -
my ipad mini has been stolen and i have activated the find my iphone to lock. now it is only a wifi device so what are the chances that a person can get hold of it and log onto wifi without the password of my device to unlock. does that not make the app rather less useful as i have to hope that the person is apt enough to log onto the internet but not enough to erase it and start afresh. is it possible to find my device even afte someone has erased it?

Can somebody tell me what is going on with the last update of Mountain Lion 10.8.2?? Since then my computer is pretty much slower and blocken on Safari.
First of all, why did you say yes to Nero Back up before researching what it does with files already on the HDD? When I install Nero, the Back Up is the first thing I disable, it is a nagging pain, there are much better backup programs available. There are several file recovery programs out there to recover deleted files, that is, if that is what happened. Also, if you haven't overwritten the files, so you should be able to find them.

After doing a Google search, I click on a link and go to the searched web page. When I go back to the Google page using the back button the links I originally clicked on no longer show as "greyed out". Any idea what is going on with the browser?

What is going on with the scroll function. It doesn't seem to work ever since I downloaded Mountain Lion.
I've noticed this too...when I'm in Safari, scrolling is a bit jerky and sometimes it stops even though I'm still scrolling...my fingers go right off the trackpad. I just downloaded the new updates onto my brand new macbook air- had to do it manually as "power nap" doesn't work, even after the SMC reset. Lamesauce.

What is going on with the Iphone4 home button locking up? I see lots of people having issues with the button becoming unresponsive, but no resolution.
Suggestions include:
Upgrade
Restrore
ReSync
Push harder,
etc.
I am running 4.2, but based on what I have read, 4.3 does not help. Apple has to do something about this, as it is affecting a large portion of the user community.lfossier1 wrote:

No they do not and no it is not affecting a large portion of the user community.
If it is an actual hardware issue, the only fix is to repair or replace the hardware.
If it is a software issue, restoring as new will fix it. -
I don't know what is going on with the White Balance (WB) and LR. I had no problem before but recently LR started to change the WB as it is importing photos. I checked the color scale for my photos and LR and both are with sRGB. Now instead of LR changing the WB it is giving me a second copy with a new WB. Your advise is very much needed and appreciated. Thank you.
Can you show us a screen capture of this 2nd copy with a new WB in your Lightroom grid? Thanks

I haven't done the IOS update for the 7.1.1 yet and actually afraid too. However can anyone at Apple advise on what is going on with battery life. I keep my apps closed when not in use yet I have to charge my battery everyday. I use my phone for business and this is really causing an issue, dropped a call that was important!! This has been happening for at least the past 2 weeks.If I don't leave my phone on the charger it drains really fast. I'll be at 100% and less than 30 minutes later it's at 83%. What's the deal APPLE??!!!

There is no Apple in this user to user forum.
Take your phone to the Apple store and have the guys at the Genius bar take a look at it.
also use the search function at the top right of the forum, "battery" look for the thread with the green checkmark. -

What is going on with the SPAM filtering? Works fine for a couple of weeks then suddenly I got slammed with tons of SPAM for a few hours then suddenly the filtering kicks in again. Usually happens late at night and clears up in the morning. Never had this problem until just a couple months ago. It's gotten so bad that I'm about to move everything over to gmail and just stop using Verizon, would rather not do that as I've had the same e-mail address since the Bell Atlantic days.Since we haven't heard back from you or have received a form submission as requested in your private support case, it appears assistance is no longer required.
