This helps.  I've got back my iPod.  So happy...................

C3135 All-In One: When I turn it on, it feeds 1 sheet of paper half-way through and then stops.
Even does this when not connected to the PC. I have tried a reset.

I don't know of one place JUST for this. I usually step people thru it on the WIndows forums so 1) they don't fudge up things even more and 2) sometimes windows wants to be a pain and stuff. But You can go here and roll down to "Format in windows" http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=361771
There are cases where even in disk mode it will not show, or only show for a second in windows under "My Computer". And in these cases you have to open task manager (Hold altctrldel all together to open it) goto the "Process tab", highlight "iPOdservice.exe" and hit end process. If you have to do this, you will have to restart windows when its done formatting so the "ipodservice.exe" is started again in the background and you can use the ipod updater to restore it

  • HT201413 done download update but half way stop then my iphone not working

connect to pc and start download update as half way error then my iphone not working to start up

you might want to attempt backing up the device to iTunes and then restoring again.

maybe even place the device in recovery mode and then restore again as a last resort.

    Hello Blackcruiser,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
For more information on this, take a look at:
Resolve specific iTunes update and restore errors

    Configure your security software
Check your security software and settings, which can block ports and prevent connection to Apple servers during update and restore.
    Common errors: 2, 4, 6, 9, 1000, 1611, 9006, 9807, 9844. Sometimes as a result of this issue, a device might stop responding during the restore process.
    Best of luck,

  • HT204406 I turned on iTunes Match 8 days ago, but all it does it restart the syncing process again half way through - any ideas?

So, 8 days ago we decided to subscribe to iTunes Match.  It's been trying to sync ever since (i.e. it gets half way through step 2 and then restarts the whole process again).  Any idea as to why it's doing this?  Any ideas as to what we can do to fix this?

sounds like you may just want to re-match your library.
easiest way to do so if it never finished it to turn iTunes match off, then back on (and add this computer). that will analyze your library once more and upload or match any songs that need to be.
Store > Turn off iTunes Match
    then
Store > Turn on iTunes Match

  • My iPhone 4 is shut off and wont turn back on, unless i plug it in an outlet & when i do that it says "connect to Itunes" & then i do that and the phone wont turn on & it shows nothing is plugged in . HELP!

My iPhone 4 is shut off and wont turn back on, unless i plug it in an outlet & when i do that it says "connect to Itunes" & then i do that and the phone wont turn on & it shows nothing is plugged in . HELP!
& it keeps trying to turn on but it wont . like the apple logo pops up for a minute , then turns off.

Had exact same problem. Rang Apple support and various apple repairers. All of them said in effect, too bad, you'll have to lose everything since your last backup. It's a work phone with very important stuff on it and the latest backup was on a computer that had a virus. Convergence of crap :/
Happened to talk to a friend who said to try replacing the battery. Did that. Problem fixed. All data saved.
To all Apple support people: rather than say 'once it's in recovery mode you lose all data' try saying 'replace your battery and see if that works first'!!!!

    yeah.
I guess everybody understood it after the first sentence.
it seems you don't really want to solve your problem.
you should tell us when it was working last time, what were you doing on it/with it. For now, you just have a problem and nobody to solve it.
