Need help? Some of my Ipods are not recognized by Itunes with my Windows 8 PC. (Ipod Nano 4th gen and Ipod Nano 6th gen), but on my Windows 7 PC, they work fine. My Ipod 3rd gen and Ipod shuffle work both on Windows 8 and 7 PC's. On the non-working Ipods, the Device sync test says "No device found". Any one have this issue?
HP ProBook 5220m (Bios Version F50) Fan not working with battery power but work fine with adapter plugged in.
This issue was found in my replacement motherboard. the original mother do not have this issue.
The origianl mother to be replace is due to can't power on after a power failure recovery. I believe was due to power surge killed the motherboard's power controller circuitry.
Appreciate any one can provide clue for resolving the problem.
I have tried to install speedfan to try my luck, but it can't any fan in the application to configure. (Bios Version F50)

Since changing over to a new BT home hub, my iPad mini does not recognise an Epson XP 305 air printer although system worked well on previous Sky hub. Both printer and iPad set up and recognise hub independently. Has anyone come across this problem?

I'm having issues with iMessage. It works fine on wifi and I receive messages as iMessage without issue in network or wifi. However as I send a message it starts as iMessage then says not delivered. Then sends as SMS since I have it enabled.

iMessage works on wifi without issue. However I receive messages on network but can't send. I send a message it starts sending as iMessage ten says it can't send. Then starts to send as SMS since it's enabled. I have reset network sertings, updated to ios7, etc and done about 3 othe suggested in order resets to get it to work and it still hasn't started working when I'm not on wifi. Any suggestions?
It's a iPhone 4S. I have two iPhones. One setup to receive iMessage just to its phone number. Therapeutic to receive to its phone and email. I wouldn't think that would be the issue as all 3 are separate. Bone the same going to both phones.

New Generation 2 IPod Touch not recognized by Itunes

I have tried just about everything including the suggestions at http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2050 and am getting desperate. I have a brand new IPod. The latest version of ITunes recognizes it sometimes but not most of the time. It just doesn't appear in the ITunes window. I have deleted and reloaded the ITunes program several times including the device support. I have tried every USB connector on my G5. I have tried every on off/restart combination I can think of. Today when I connected the IPod it activated the IPhoto program and downloaded a picture from an IPod e-mail but the ITunes program did not activate. When I opened ITunes there was no indication that the IPod was even connected. It seems to work fine with my Mac Book but that is not the computer I'm syncing to. Help.

Yes, it charges just fine. The last two times I connected the Touch activated IPhoto and downloaded a photo from one of the e-mails but the Touch icon did not appear in the ITune window. When I got the IPod a few days ago I had a devil of a time setting it up initially since the icon did not appear and ITunes did not activate. I thought the unit was defective since there was no indication that it was even connected. After fooling around for quite a while, suddenly the icon appeared in ITunes and I was able to sync my ITune files. The puzzling part is that it's like playing roulette. Sometimes the icon appears but most of the time it does not. The last time that I deleted the ITunes program and the device support and then reloaded, the Touch icon did appear in ITunes. The next time I connected it did not appear. I've shut down/restarted the G5 and the Touch to no avail. I've also deleted and reloaded the program several times including the device support. The Touch seems to work just fine and it charges OK so it must be a problem with ITunes.

IPod Shuffle Not Recognized In Windows Or iTunes v7.0 - What Now?

Hello everyone,
I am having the same problem as many who have posted here. I have upgraded my software to iTunes v7.0.1.8. I also accepted the auto update for my iPod Shuffle - 512GB 1st Gen to v 1.44 (I believe). Of course, now my Shuffle is not recognized in iTunes and is only recognized in Windows for less than 5 seconds (as I have monitored it). I am listing below all of the actions I have taken today.
As none of these have worked, my question is now what? Does anyone have any other suggestions before I take the dreaded step of calling support? Any help is appreciated.
I am not happy with this upgrade issue at all. I expect much better from Apple.
Steps Already Taken:
1. Reset iPod.
2. Set Terminal Services to "Manual" and restarted my laptop PC.
3. Changed all USB Root Hub entries power management options to "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power option" and rebooted.
4. Assigned my external hard drive a different letter as it was assigned to "E" and tech support documentation suggested I changed it - I changed it to "M".
5. I stopped the iPod Service via the Services and Application interface from My Computer/Manage, reattached the Shuffle, and started the iPod Service. The Shuffle was still not recognized.
6. I uninstalled iTunes 7.0.1.8, the Apple Software update and QuickTime. I deleted all temp directories; program files folders and all possible traces of all three pieces of this software. I also deleted my iTunes library. I reinstalled all of this software and re-built my Library. NONE OF THIS WORKED!
My 30GB Video iPod works fine and always has - it is only the shuffle for which I have this issue any only since the upgrade.
What do I do now? If no one has another fix, I will be forced to call Tech Support after an experience with them over a year ago I would almost rather throw this thing away!

qswh - I too cannot play the songs that are loaded on the shuffle. Additionally, I get a green & orange light when I plug it into a USB port and then I either get a blinking orange light or a solid orange light from there after.

Hi, I have an ipod touch. It has been working well along windows 8 all this while until 1 week ago, itunes can no longer detect the ipod touch. Funnily, when I tried connecting it other computers using Windows 7, it could be detected. I have already tried almost everything such as uninstalling and reinstalling itunes, AMDS restart. What else can I do? I really need to sync some songs into my ipod touch for a run this weekend. Please help!

Make sure you have iTunes 11. Turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar

HT1296 Is there any way I can transfer the music from my ipod touch to my computer without having to pay for it? Itunes worked fine with my ipod on my old laptop. I am not willing to risk losing all of the music on my ipod to update to the newest iOS.

I really don't want to lose all of the music I have on my ipod touch. It worked fine with my ipod and my old laptop but I got a new laptop and now it doesn't want to sync anything except purchases I made on the ipod and everything that was in the cloud. The rest of the music on my ipod is from old CDs and I am away from home. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could give me some advice. I also don't really want to pay for a download that moves the music into itunes so if anything is free and safe that would be great or if there is a way to do it manually. Again thanks to anyone who has advice to share.

You would have to purchase a 3rd party program ( not supported by Apple).
The ipod is not a storage/backup device.
Copy everything from the old computer or your backup copy of your old computer.
